  1. Since this show has been cancelled (again!), I guess we'll never find out who killed Carrie's sister. That was the predominant theme in Season One and we barely heard anything about it this past season. Ugh. Guess we oughta be grateful that CBS brought it back for one more year though. Good riddance Unforgettable.....you were pretty good.
  2. Really not sure where they take the escapades of President Francis Underwood now. Once a man has achieved the highest pinnacle, or the loftiest goal, what more is there that a man wants-----except more of what he now already has. Absolute power, no matter the cost nor principle, was the Underwoods' long sought after dream and now that they have it, can they have MORE of it? I suppose eventually we'll see the downside of their rapid ascension and perhaps somebody will finally be able to connect all the dots of the Underwoods' ruthless and heartless rise to the Presidency. Those times can wait. Until then, I'm most interested in finding out who the new Vice-President will be (one that will serve no purpose to the Union of course but only to Frank); see what surprises may be in store for the upcoming Presidential election; find out whether or not Doug is really dead; see what path Rachel now takes; hopefully watch Gavin (with Cashew) take more of a central role; watching what anti-U.S. bully will now rear their ugly head and finally see if Claire's mental state snaps enough that everything starts to untangle. Oughta be a great season. Looking forward to it.
  3. For a man with many, many secrets, Nighthorse seemed to spill the beans awful quick once he was put in the cell. Surprised his lawyer wasn't already there though. Nevertheless, Nighthorse seems to still know more than he's letting on regarding Walt's wife's murder. Don't think he did it per se but he certainly knows who did IMHO.
  4. Way, way, way behind the times...so many shows to watch, so little time to do it. Not totally surprised with the threesome hookup. After all, Meechem owes his career to Frank and certainly he's had the wondering eye of late on the Mrs. Certainly seems like the broken glass was contrived. Not sure if the soon-to-be threesome was but it worked out for them ok. I haven't seen all of Season 2 as of yet but it has become increasingly harder NOT to really despise Frank. At first, I was all in with his scheming and whatnot all in the name of higher pursuits in the political arena but now I'm looking more and more forward to his comeuppance. I'm really hoping Tusk gets him good. Claire's character needs something else to do besides acting and reacting to the media's portrayals of her moral issues. Season one was fantastic for her; not so much in season two.
  5. I kept thinking how nice it was that the British powers-that-be just allowed the American, Chinese and Russian operatives to run amok all over London without hardly any interference from the host country's military whatsoever. So what if drones were used to destroy Wembley Stadium, a hospital and real estate far and wide. Saying nothing about the mass carnage everywhere. Seemed that after the drone issued was settled, the Brits just became spectators to one of the more horrific days in 24 history. And that's saying something.
  6. To me, Branch is the wild card on the show....in so many ways. I think he's both good and bad; law-abiding and sinister; principled and conniving. He totes an air of unpredictability that aligns perfectly against Longmire's supposed reasoned thinking. Whether he's charming or diabolical, Branch can be used in a variety of instances. And with his inner demons working non-stop, if his character continues to evolve, we're going to be entertained with some great, great episodes.
  7. I'm liking Cady more this season than last year. Her character intertwining with Henry's is interesting and I hope the writers feed off their chemistry even more. However, it's still hard for me to picture her as anything but the same girl from the ol' Smallville days. Maybe because I loved everything Smallville. So, do I think she is better at acting as Lex Luthor's sister or Walt Longmire's daughter? Jury is still out on that one.
  8. Loved this episode...surprised it went way over an hour though. Glad I watched it live. Would've been upset to miss the extra seven minutes. I'm really liking the extra layers that have been added to these characters. Throw in a surprising matchup of Longmire and Gorsky against a cult-like crazed maniac and his disciples....well, count me in anytime. Watch Vic suffer mental, physical and emotional abuse all in the name of entertainment.......even better! More please....
