  1. A pretty good finale overall. So much craziness in those last ten minutes. I just wonder how much further Dash will slip into his dark side, he seems pretty well deep into it now. In some ways you could see that little trick he pulled off coming, when he convinced Ingrid not to burn away Archibald's spellbook. One thing that struck to me from that last scene is how gifted Dash is with magic. He definitely seems to be the more gifted Gardiner brother, just like how Ingrid is naturally the more gifted Beauchamp sister. Also, what was the purpose of the bimbo, model-turned FBI agent anyway? She just seems like something that popped out of a really bad fanfic, with no real meaning or connection to the plot. Lame.
  2. Finally, Killian is actually starting to have an impact on the show again. It's like his character was lying dormant this entire season, his gimmick with Eva is lasting far too long. It's a shame something that really should have only lasted a few episodes at max ended up taking a whole season. Really drowned Killian's character imo, hopefully he recovers from this. The more I see of Dash, the more I think that he's not going to turn out to be a villain. His truth finally got exposed to Ingrid, but in his defense, it looked like he was going to tell her about it just prior to her finding it out herself. Looks like him and Ingrid have a lot of things to work out, but this relationship is most definitely not off the map just yet (I believe!)
  3. As some who shipped Dash/Ingrid from the start of this season, I have to admit I was a little bit disgruntled and frustrated to see Dash dig himself a deeper hole by continuing his homicidal streak, and this time even outright lying to Ingrid about it! But it has really sunk in to me now and made me realize how Ingrid's current life is mirroring her previous life. Dash is obviously the one who has inherited his ancestor Archibald's persona, and the way he's been falling into the darkness and following Archibald's footsteps means that things are only going to get worse and darker for him. His fate, in the end, will most likely fall on what Ingrid decides to do. Does she get swept into the darkness along with Dash (hence, a repeat of her previous life)? Or will she be able to save him and pull him out of it? I am really rooting for the latter, mainly because I refuse to give up on the chemistry that exists in this pairing, and I think the writers see this chemistry too. Dash has always been the villain in the past lives, but from what we've been shown this is the first life that Dash/Ingrid has happened. My theory is that one needs the other to break this vicious cycle where every life ends badly for both of them.
