DC Benny was on Comedy Central Presents about 10 years ago. During that special, he did the heroin addict/tai chi joke that he used to advance to the Last Comic Standing semifinals and the sushi chef/unagi joke in his last appearance. If you can't update your material as a comic in 10 years, maybe you've gone as far you can go in your career. The great comics may revisit material (George Carlin revising the "7 Words You Can't Say on TV, et al) but telling the same bits year after year isn't going to cut it. Benny is a talented impressionist but it was time for him to go. His material isn't at the same level as his vocal work.
