  1. I really, really enjoyed this movie and wish I would have seen it in the theater. It was probably awesome on the big screen. I think I had a smile on my face the entire movie that got bigger and bigger with each little nod to the game. Made me remember when my brothers and I would play all day. SR's voice kind of grates to me so I didn't really care for him as DK but otherwise I really had no issues. "Sit, jam with me." Loved it.
  2. This movie had me stressed from go. Shed a few tears, sad and happy and ultimately was satisfied with the conclusion. I've grown attached to these characters, was really invested in their outcomes and they didn't disappoint. This movie also really highlighted how much of a family the guardians became/are (except I guess this Gamora, tho I think she came to appreciate their love for each other) and I thought every character had standout/noteworthy moments. Loved the fight scene towards the end to the Beastie Boys. The High Evolutionary was a good/worthy villain and the actor did an amazing job. I think in someone else's hands it could have just been OTT scenery chewing but he was very good. Now that I know what happens I think I'd like to watch it again without being so stressed the entire time!
  3. By episode two I already figured out who they were setting up for the big bads and the goth harry potter vibes were hitting hard so I kind of lost interest. My sister did watch and was disappointed with the series finale but found the season watchable. I might try to give it another go but it did make me go watch the 90's movies tho!
  4. Same, I didn't even know it was a series! I really enjoyed this movie because the chemistry between the leads was very good. My one issue was Madelyn dropping the guy. I mean the way the wrote it with him knowing it wasn't going to workout was nice but why even have him at all? I just felt bad for the dude. Otherwise this was a pretty good one.
  5. What I think was really quite cool is that even though I knew all the characters I loved were going to live, they some how still made me nervous and on edge while watching. I kept telling myself 'they live, relax' 😄. They really did deliver.
  6. I loved everything about this episode. Obi Wan verse Vader was awesome. EM is just so good. Had me tearing up at times. I'm so glad we got little Leia, and I'm grateful for the Leia and Obi Wan relationship I didn't know I needed. I had such a blast watching this series. Its funny on father's day we had a big family bbq and every was asking/talking about this show and if we all were watching it lol.
  7. Those last scenes with Vader taking down the ship and fighting Reva were just really, really fun to watch. Ned-B shielding Tala was such a sweet moment. Wasn't super attached to Tala, I liked her but figured it was only a matter of time before she died and she went out like a boss. Very enjoyable episode.
  8. I love Obi Wan and Leia. I didn't know I needed to see this relationship unfold but I love it. Love them together and individually. Like said above this was a little bit of a filler episode but still enjoyable for me. I look forward to it every week.
  9. EM is so good in this, hitting all the right beats. The little girl cast as Leia is also so good. I'm really enjoying this show so far. Bummed its half way over. My co worker constantly tells me I need to watch clone wars and these Disney plus shows really make me want too. I just need to find the time.
  10. I really enjoyed this finale. I wish it was a little longer or maybe even one more episode so we could have had a little bit more. I didn't even want to watch this show when they first announced it and that they got me hooked, had me finish it out and want more, I think they did a really good job. Oscar Issac was awesome and such a pleasure to watch. Layla was hit or miss for me but really enjoyed the actress and I loved her in this episode especially when she got her outfit and was helping Steven/Marc in the fight. She looked amazing! I thought the switches between Marc/Steven and their suits while they were fighting was also pretty cool. All in all very enjoyable.
  11. When Beth first visited Dean in jail she said Kenny (for some reason I can only remember this kids name) was at some tournament or camp in Kalamazoo, so I assume that's why only three kids were there.
  12. I also did not find this movie funny. I do enjoy dark comedies at times and I sometimes feel guilty for laughing at gags in them but I still do. I laughed at nothing in this and had to google the end about 30 minutes in because if Marla lived I would have shut it off then and there. I still had to FF some parts because it just wasn't fun to watch. DW was the best part and I wish she was featured more and like others posted if she would have bested Marla it would have made it a little worthwhile.
  13. I just started watching this series and I thought season one was a little slow, mostly cause I didn't care for Abigail, but my goodness season two was so awesome! That season finale was gasp after gasp. I love all three leads, Jack, Hannibal and Will, all the actors are so good. The show is graphic (I'm surprised it aired on NBC) but the shots are so beautiful as is the scenery and set design. Can't believe I missed this when it aired, but kind of glad because I think waiting week to week would have been horrible. Edited to add the music/score is perfect.
  14. Got renewed for season 4. https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/good-girls-renewed-season-4-nbc-1234608337/
  15. FBI agent is a little off to me. The way she was going through their pictures (there was some cute pics on there!) on the phone came off more creepy and less professional. I could have been reading the scene wrong though. I actually didn't mind this episode. It didn't make me annoyed and I was able to easily over look a lot of the stupid. Very lackluster for a finale but I'm good with it. Stan was getting to me a little with the way he was with Ruby. I get it, I do but she did this for their kid. She doesn't enjoy being a criminal. I was totally ok with her idea to rob Stan's work. Super happy they came together at the end too. They are my favorites. I really feel like Annie got the short end of the stick in this episode. But very excited I didn't have to endure any scenes with her and her therapist, I didn't mute or change the channel once with her tonight. I actually liked her. Beth and Dean still confuse me and I thought her alone scene with Gayle was embarrassing. Guess there was a purpose to all their stuff being stolen and she kind of redeemed herself when she bought the store for less, but not the greatest stuff there. Though I did like her distracting the armored truck driver. The season ended on an okay note for me.
