  1. This wedding dress ep from 4/4 was really confusing. I thought she tried on the dress (a different dress) in the pilot, and loved it, and was all about it being a Dior? Is this just a dropped thread? I hate when shows act like other episodes didn't happen.
  2. I was always in this for the humour/romcom aspect so I only watched a bit of the finale. I was on the forums while viewing it, found out she didn't pick anyone, and quit. I feel like it was the easy way out after an entire season/series of the show focusing on relationships. She could have both, creative outlet and a romance. You also don't have to be in the perfect mental health place to have a happy relationship. Mental health, especially for those with disorders (I am married to someone who has to constantly work on this), is a life long effort.
  3. You aren't the only one, my mom has believe this since Paradise or possibly when he was on B'ette (I can't remember when she started saying it), she thinks his family has shamed him to the point he can't accept himself. My husband and I just think he has serious mental illness of some kind.
  4. I agree on the monthly specials idea. I live in a fairly large metro area and we have both types of Mexican restaurants, those with higher end Gordon style dishes and then those with enchiladas etc. The fancy ones downtown are often packed but they have lively bar scenes etc. Then my neigborhood place is also packed but those clients want big plates of enchiladas or chimichangas and I don't see them being as happy if the menu was suddenly five items and high end.
  5. Regarding the date, I think the rig exploded just after Katrina so 2005 from the references to the storm etc. Tandys mom is still living in a fema trailer. So I'm not sure that the "now" eps are our now of 2018.
  6. I think what skeeved me out the most about Arie's proposal then dumping was all his mentions of kids. Maybe it's because having children was super important to me and I know that at Becca's age I was getting a little nervous about not meeting the right person. He brought it up so much first saying I can picture our kids and then "when are we gonna start making babies?" Thank goodness she didn't get pregnant in their mini engagement. I think even Lauren would draw the line there.
  7. I thought the account thing had a much simpler explanation when I heard it. I assumed it's Nicole's account but Robbalee (robbilee? Robalee?) just has access to the online log in from which you could see all your statements, account numbers, etc. For example I have a separate bank account from Mr Loaf but we have each others log in so we can see statements and transactions, move money around, etc as we need to. It just means we can log in as each other. Basically, I just think Nicole is require to give Robalee her password so she can see the transactions and nothing more. I live north of Nicole in St Pete and am only marginally familiar with Bradenton (as in we have passed through it on the way somewhere else) but I don't think they have a functioning bus system.
  8. Just to chime in on the nitrous, Teen Mum was the first time I had seen it personally but then last month when I went for my hospital tour here in FL (I am due in the next few weeks) we were shown a nitrous machine, told it would be in our rooms and that we could choose to use it or not as much as we needed but that it was best to breathe it in during contractions so it's definitely becoming a thing here in the states. (And also warned that if our husbands/partners/etc were caught using it they'd be kicked, which I found kind of funny)
  9. While I can't say I am sad for George as a person, I can't help but feel it was the stupidest thing Lucy could have done. She's not a favorite character of mine as I find her attitude toward the other woman tiresome but she doomed herself and all of them by stabbing him. Even had they gotten a surgeon, Lucy at the least would have been arrested/executed (for trying to kill him) and the house's reputation ruined (who wants to go somewhere the girls stab the clients) sending the rest of them to life as street girls. I'm sure all of the girls would love to murder half or more of their clients but they don't because the truth is they'll all suffer. Her mother should not have sheltered her so nor implied she was better than the other girls if her plan wasn't to send her off to be someone's wife (but to be fair her mother is a prostitute so I'm guessing none would have had her anyway).
  10. If you're looking to stream it, Amazon does Starz as an add on subscription. We added it recently to watch this.
  11. The Pelant family must be related to someone in the writers room or something because the name seems to be a favorite. The Colonel who talked to Booth in the episode "Beginning of the End" was named Dan Pelant, then of course there was the killer Christopher Pelant. I wonder if Sunnie is the daughter/niece/something of an actual Pelant family who are friends of the show.
  12. All I want to know is where Wendy got that cat sweater. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate a PM!
  13. To the normal cast and other hosts credit this is probably one of, if not the only, times I have genuinely noticed it to the extent that it bugged. (I wasn't even sure if they really used them, I honestly was on the fence on if they improv'd when they couldn't remember and it was just a bad camera angle with his eyeline, I am TV naive maybe)
  14. Dirty Talk drove me nuts because Ansari was constantly looking past her in a determined way, like he was reading a cue card or teleprompter. Particularly the last bit with the long pause before he said "okay..." and launched into whatever the next set up was.
  15. I wonder what these folks do for jobs as others have mentioned. I get that they were adults on going in, and so likely had some skills or degrees unlike Rinder (who also has a very pricey house for the area) but they must've spent a bundle to get as high as they did and how did they hold the jobs down while doing all the training?
