  1. I'm liking this gameshow, so far. But I think the totals shouldn't be revealed until after the last round so neither team knows how much they may be beating, or losing to, the other team.
  2. Robin sure didn't fake playing that piano well at all. I cringe when he sings, too. Just not a fan of his performances. It is very obvious Ken is getting answers.
  3. I have a question, but it's from trying not to watch this show, but if it's on and I'm just looking up every great while...Why has Cam been HOH for the last 2-3 weeks? It just seems like (to me) he's always HOH. I thought there used to be a rule that the HGs couldn't be back-to-back. Ok, one more question: has the showmance of Jared & Blue split up? The timing of my sporadic viewing played it out in my head that once the HGs figured out someone's been using the condoms, they haven't been hooking up. Thanks in advance for the answers. I'll try to pay more attention or just not care to ask questions for clarity. lol
  4. I knew who Bishop Briggs is, but can't stand her singing. Her "River" guaranteed me to always change my XM station to anything but! Yes, she can belt out BIG sounds but that's not always good. I've never watched AI or The Voice, whichever one David Archuleta was on, so I'd never heard his story, nor him sing, but I was aware of him. I thought he should've won, and his finale comments were so kind and supportive of Bishop, as hers were for him, too. That was a nice touch. I do agree this show is stale and formulaic. I also don't waste time watching it live so I can fast-forward through Nick, Jenny, Ken and all the other bs. I would prefer Ken & Jenny get booted from the show. I'm not a fan of Joel McHale, even though I loved his snark on The Soup back in the day, so I don't know who I'd like to see in their seats. Nick can get fired anytime, he's overexposed on tv, and well, we all know what he does when he's not on our tv's...
  5. Nick Cannon fills in for Jamie Foxx on Beat Shazam. Great, Nick will be hosting even more shows. https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/nick-cannon-jamie-foxx-beat-shazam-host-hospitalized-1235602231/
  6. I haven't watched the epi yet, but I definitely will now. I hope it's him, too! I love him, especially when he narrates music/band documentaries. What he lacks in singing ability, he more than makes up for in personality!
  7. It seemed very odd that Wolf was so stiff, especially now that we've seen who he is and knowing he's a singer/entertainer. Has he been injured or had some sort of health issue? He just seemed, and looked, like a zombie, except for his singing in which he sounded like himself - from someone who's never been a fan of his.
  8. Agree about Dr Rick. After our trash can got stolen, we put our house number on our new one - and I periodically wash our can out due to spilled, used cat litter, various gross liquids from old food and the smell! Yes, it's a freaking trash can, but it doesn't need to smell like hot vomit and attract flying insects and the like. Take that, Dr Rick!!!! I can imagine how gross your trash can is because you're "too young and hip" to care.
  9. Why are there constantly so many entertainment articles about Goldie Hawn & Kate Hudson? Geezzzz, neither has done anything in a very, very, very long time, and they aren't good actresses either. Kate is known for having several baby daddys and Goldie, well, she's old and old news. Seems the same articles are rehashed about them all spending the holidays at Goldie's house, all of them in matching pjs. Are their managers or press trying to make them "happen"? And regarding Kelly Ripa - I refuse to watch anything she has anything to do with. Apparently, she thinks every little thing she does, or happens to her, is HIlarious and everyone needs to know about her every thought. Ugh! She are Ryan Seacrest are just alike (in my book) and they make it easy for me to avoid a lot of dreck due to their involvement.
  10. The Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber is an amazing "get" for this show and his legacy is unparalleled! But as a regular person who hasn't lived near NYC nor traveled there frequently to take in Broadway shows, I just didn't feel like his music translated well to TMS format. I'll head to the back row now, hanging my head...
  11. "God Only Knows" was used as the theme song for Big Love, iirc.
  12. Big Love had already done that for me...
  13. Earlier I read this happened on his birthday, too! I just can't imagine what the family is going through.
  14. I have always found her psycho babble very useless and very generic. But she must be doing something/someone right because she's all over Reelz from Autopsy to Breaking the Band to any other show that features the unfortunate happenings of someone. Over time, I've noticed she appears to have just rolled out of bed because her bed head has gotten more and more disheveled-looking, too. She passed her expiration date a long time ago, Reelz.
  15. I really don't care who wins. I was never a boy-band fan and if Piglet is one of the Lachey guys, I truly hate his vibrato that he can't sing anything without, not to mention that voice sounds so thin. I would've been fine if he'd been sent home weeks ago. Black Swan has had quite a few bad selections of songs and I feel like she's being kept in since she's the last female. I don't think a final 3 of 3 guys would go over very well. Chameleon sure sounds like a successful rapper but the rappers that go on this show might want to consider singing something totally out of their wheelhouse. I easily get bored when someone sings only one type of song/music but if that's all they can do... Omarion has a beautiful smile and came across as a very likeable person.
  16. Scottie Pippen's son died https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/19/us/antron-pippen-death-scottie-pippen-son-trnd/index.html
  17. Cousin Itt has died. RIP https://www.tmz.com/2021/04/16/felix-silla-dead-dies-addams-family-cousin-itt-star-wars-ewok/
  18. Shrimp tails guy, Jensen Karp, claims he's a comedian and writer in LA, plus he's married to Danielle Fishel who played Topanga on "Boy Meets World."
  19. I'll address another elephant in this episode: Jack Harlow was AWFUL!!! I'd not heard of him before the show, and now I know I haven't missed anything after suffering through his two bits. Adding Adam Levine to that mess did not help, and not just because I have never liked hearing him sing and he seems to always have to be extra extra, it was awful 2.O. What a waste of Maya SNL!!!
  20. We wanted to like it, we wanted to watch it, but after the first 10 minutes of the constant 4th wall breaking, DH couldn't tolerate it anymore. We thought it was awful and painfully not funny at all. Stick a fork in us, we're done. Poor Swoozie Kurtz - I did a double-take because she truly does look like a melting Madame Tussaud's figure. It also appears that her head continues to get bigger, and her body somehow continues to get smaller/thinner/more frail. We've never been fans of The Office, never made it through one episode, and so tired of Comedy Central running that show for hours and hours and hours on end.
  21. I usually have CNN on at night with Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo & Don Lemon. Anderson is chill and says out loud what we're all thinking. Chris can get way OTT interrupting others and that really wears on me because he makes it impossible to understand what anyone is saying, but he is great at cutting through the bullshit and calling people out on it. I'm afraid he'll have a stroke or pop that bulging vein in the middle of his forehead when he gets ramped up. Don used to be the one I paid no attention to, and his "style" is totally opposite of Anderson & Chris, but I've developed an appreciation for him due to my hubby pointing out that his voice is soothing. Hubby is being treated for leukemia so whatever works positively for him, I'm all for it. Now I try to listen to Don in that way, too. Eh, doesn't usually work for me. lol
  22. I hate to think of all the years I wasted time watching Y&R, but at least I broke that habit a very long time ago. lol Y&R follows the local news that I have on most days and if I'm not paying attention, when Y&R comes on, I can't change it fast enough. BUT with all that said, the bits I've been seeing of EB/Victor...good Lord he mumbles! Yes, he always has, but I don't tolerate it like I did. In fact, we call him "Mumbly Pegs" around here and we imitate him by using our graveliest, lowest possible sound and making unintelligible grunts.
  23. An M&M's commercial used Aloe Blacc & Zedd's version of "Candyman" and I liked it so much, I had to find out who sang it. But, during this competition, I thought the Mushroom's vocals weren't consistent - some songs were very good while others...not so much. Dr Elvis/the Serpent was so much better and should've won over the 'Shroom and finished 2nd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8OrXHLL-iY Nick Carter was pretty weak across the board with most of his versions of the songs, but I do have to give him kudos for knocking "Open Arms" out of the park. His voice is very well suited for songs from Journey, but not Aerosmith or Bon Jovi.
