  1. I was bored. Nothing effing happened - things like weddings in TV shows are the decorative icing for us all to go "awww" and pat ourselves on the back for sticking with the show (or be on the look out for a scandal) - they're not the WHOLE EPISODE. But this is Glee. Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked Britanna got hitched, that Burt officiated, that he and Carol have adorable banter, that Abuela came, that Gloria Estefan sang, that Blaine's mom is apparently one of the rich ladies Puck probably did while cleaning pools as his high school job (and will probably do before the night's out by the look of her with him on that dancefloor)... I was even stoked (albeit a bit confused by the sequencing) when Klaine got back together at the beginning of the episode (because I'm one of the few remaining who likes them). But then. Klaine got married one episode after being with different people. Santana and Brittany's wedding somehow had to have gay boys in it because... i dunno Ryan Murphy can't stand not having his prizes all on display at once... whatever. I just... I was happy being nostalgic and just watching the show roll down the hill to the end. Why you gotta ruin things Glee?!
  2. I think I've finally made my (long overdue) peace with the fact that Glee is not a show in which one should expect spectacular acting. I actually really like the setup of a choir competition against insurmountable odds, but with the directors not performers the focus. I kinda remember season 1 was meant to be as much about the adults as it was the kids, and then the show evolved. Now it's almost like it's going to be the show it wanted to be at the start - and I'm encouraged because I loved THAT show. I really enjoyed these two episodes. The second a bit more than the first, but overall definitely both of them. Maybe the distance in the delayed start to the season helped, but I found it funny again in a way it hasn't been, and also I just wasn't as fussed by stuff that would have annoyed me beyond belief before. So much of the story seems so surreal that I'm just rolling with it, I really like the new kids and the role they seem to be playing so far (secondary), and the Klaine of it all is just so absurd now it's fully-fledged pantomime. Can't wait for next week.
  3. I think they reached Tatiana's limit with Tony - it was the first time I didn't "believe" but I was thoroughly amused by the Tony-Felix massive awkwardness that I didn't mind too much. I have been loving this season. I was a bit skeptical early on when Sarah was "separated from the herd" by going on the run with Kira, but I'm cool now. Speaking of Kira, she usually annoys me but her reaction when Sarah came downstairs to see her and Ethan reading was awesome. It was like "OMG mooooom you're interrupting" Haha. Rachel still intrigues me so much. Love her. Her world is coming apart but she's still holding it together. Just.
  4. If Rachel wants to conceive badly, then there's only a matter of time before she finds and attempts something with Cal... Rachel fascinates me. A lot of comments above wanted her shot or want the clones together without her... I was rooting for Helena to shoot her too, but I think what would be most interesting to me would be for Rachel to suddenly have lost it all - or lost faith in Dyad etc and find herself with the other clones... in Felix's loft or something. There's something up with her. The way she watches those videos.... like they're from before she's self aware and she's trying to recapture that time and escape from whatever nightmare she thinks she's in. Contrary to being a villian, I think she's another victim and before too long she'll be "team clone"... however it's loosely defined.
  5. If I had not been reasonably certain that there was some Klaine plot line I wanted to see, I would have turned the show off a couple of minutes in (as it seems by the ratings a lot of Americans did). I hated Rachel's storyline, was alarmed at shots of Sam back in the halls of McKinley, but happy at Blaine moving back into the loft. That Rachel storyline was abysmal, though.
  6. So I really liked the episode. I found the mime scene hilarious, the downtown and Klaine numbers especially fun, and thought Mercedes turning up wasn't as random or annoying as it could have been. It really is quite like its a different show - some kind of weird morph of Glee, Friends and HIMYM with some random Gossip Girl. I'm not sure it's really that great, and I'm pretty sure it won't save the ratings slide (coming too late), but I'm happy to stay on the bus, And have even settled in a bit more.
  7. Wow they're giving Amber the screentime to sing a song from her album? The only other perosn they did that for was Matt - that's pretty big, right?
  8. I bet it's the only episode from this season to be nominated for anything.
  9. I kinda wish something in Rachel's night are would come true. I mean, it's all to easy for her with Funny Girl. Where's the intrigue?! Also, despite having a fondness of Darren Criss and Blaine I'm looking forward to the plotline where Kurt is rightfully shown as the guy who's on top (mind the pun)...
  10. Ah I see what you did there - reality and Glee? Noble effort, but sadly any logical conclusion based on reality just ain't gonna happen ;)But anyway, I found the whole plotline poorly done, overwrought, and thought it dragged on too long because it was done badly. I'm glad they got passed it.
  11. How did you feel about Santana's portrayal? The whole "I'm just mean" thing came across to me as "I'm a complete moron who is mean because when confronted with something I can't think through or understand I just go nuts". I dunno, they had moved her on so much while still keeping her snark in NY. She was still Santana but, you know, growing? And then she just regressed to being a stupid child. I saw the regression here as them making her stupid (so Brittany can be smart?) and I hate it when people are made stupid when they're not.
