  1. So far I'm enjoying this more than Discovery or Picard. It's clear the creator/writers love Star Trek and it doesn't take itself too seriously. I can't wait for some characters we know to appear in cameos. Maybe Captain Riker on the Titan saves the day or Lt. Kim is temporarily assigned to the ship for some mundane reason.
  2. I'm starting to feel like this season is a trainwreck where I can't stop watching. I didn't even used to like Enzo but Stefan killing him might have pushed him over the edge into irredeemable territory for me. I can't really expect him to stay dead though any more than I believed he would be killed so easily after everything else he has been through.
  3. Enjoyed seeing Matt again more than I expected. Couldn't really get into the flashback scenes though. Besides that it was a pretty average episode.
  4. Maybe I'm in a minority but this is the first time since I started watching in season 2 (could never get into season 1) that the first episode didn't keep my attention or interest me. It seemed very slow and I'm not a fan of the documentary thing they were going for.
  5. You're right about that. As happy as I am the show is getting a season 8 I don't think it will sustain the ratings to get a 9th season even on the CW. I think it's in their best interests and hope they decide between now and fall to make it the final season officially.
  6. I was really hoping this triangle would be resolved and not drag on into next season. I'm over it.
  7. I really enjoyed the finale and liked the miniseries as a whole. I never thought we would get a continuation of Heroes and honestly I liked it better than most of season 4. I hoped for a more direct continuation than we ultimately got but I appreciate the lengths they went to including just about as many of the old characters as they could in some fashion. The only new character I really warmed up to was Nathan. It was nice finally seeing him with his memories back at the end. He was totally believable as someone raised by Hiro with the benefit of a lifetime of training. I agree the circumstances that led to Noah's death were very contrived. I rewatched Heroes over the Christmas hiatus for the first time since it ended and he became my favorite character so that's disappointing. Also, I wasn't happy with his character being "dumbed down" this season for lack of a better term. I doubt we will ever see another continuation of Heroes though so at least he got some kind of ending? I just wish they hadn't gambled on getting renewed and ending with a cliffhanger. For a second I almost forgot it was canceled and had hopes season two would be better. They really made sure to leave every returning characters fate except for Noah (and most likely Claire) ambiguous enough they could return. I think I'm going to imagine that Sylar was the father as improbable as that is.
  8. I was confused why this episode was so bad. It makes sense if it was actually part of season 1.
  9. I remember watching Adam-12 and Dragnet on cable TV in the 90s as a child. Over the last year or so I've watched every episode of Dragnet and Adam-12 available on Hulu (only the first four seasons sadly). I really enjoy this show. In a lot of ways it's like a window for me into a simpler (maybe better) time I never got to experience.
  10. If I recall a while back they had a casting call for someone who matched Cory's general appearance so it's likely we will be getting some kind of shot like that.
  11. I really want an adult spinoff of Degrassi with some of the original TNG characters. Manny, Jay, Spinner, even Darcy or Emma would be nice to see again and more engaging than most of these season 14 characters. They could even fit Eli and Claire in it after they graduate.
  12. I really enjoyed this episode. The first few episodes of the season I didn't feel like the show had much direction but I'm interested in seeing how it all ends and am wondering how they'll satisfyingly wrap it up in only three episodes. Maybe it's just me but the b-plots have been much more tolerable this season than the last few. The directing in this episode impressed me. I liked the callbacks to past seasons and seeing several old characters was really nice. I'm hoping they find a way to show Godric one more time before the show ends (either when Eric dies which I don't think will happen or at some other point).
