  1. Born Psychopath is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series so was really looking forward to this one. This ep didn't really come close to that one but there were good bits. Creepy Henry/Ethan Cutkosky being the best. I don't care how silly the fun house was, it was still exciting with nice camera work so whatever. I'm surprised Henry gave up that easy after his killing spree tho. Happy Ruby got out alive poor kid. I read somewhere Huang was supposed to guest star. Lindstrom is not a great shoefiller in my eyes. But I've never been a fan of his. I think it's because he's linked too much to the worst episodes in series history, I've tried to get past it but can't, I'm sure the actor is good though, it's just the character I find creepy. I so knew it was coming, they always write Rollins that way, but I hated the last scene. Way to not protect your daughters Amanda. Insert eyeroll. And what I hated almost mostly was that it seemed they did it bc Rollisi!? A ship I'm not on for obvious reasons (Rollaro for life, insert another eyeroll at myself). So stupid but I guess I wouldn't mind seeing Henry/Ethan again so perhaps I shouldn't be pissed off.... Agree. Ever since Warren tweeted last season Murphy/Logue would be back I've been longing. I understand Covid could've come in the way but I really hope we'll see him next season. It's also the only Rollisi I'm interested in & yes Murphy to come out as winner so we can forever sink that Rollisi ship.
  2. Can't believe I sat through four episodes of OC to be "caught up" for this crossover. I was so pissed they killed off Kathy I didn't watch that first crossover. OC is not at all what I thought it would be. I guess I was never a Stabler fan so I probably shouldn't have gotten my hopes up for OC. Fin was the only good thing about SVU this week. Without Rollins I lose interest quickly, I like dysfunction what can I say (weird I don't like Stabler actually). I guess with a short season like this there are less chances of hit episodes but man has this season dragged. Probably my least favorite SVU.02 season. Got hopes for ep14, Ethan Cutkosky was such a brilliant, creepy little psycopath. I remember Ethan replied to a tweet of mine back then where I praised his acting. That kitchen scene with Rollins is still etched in to my mind. I'm hoping for a repeat of that scene with the two of them. Here's to hoping, we got (at least) two more seasons to "look forward to" so yeah I'm really hoping it will stop dragging, as long as Kelli is on this show I won't be able to drop it. C'est la vie.
  3. I for one will miss Jack and having Maria Bello regularly on my screen again. She's such a great actress I love her in even cheesy b-rolls. I started watching NCIS when she was brought on and I've enjoyed it. Until next time NCIS. Hope you keep doing good for cast, crew and fans of the show.
  4. I'm sad to see Maria Bello go. I only started watching NCIS because she joined and I quite liked it. I can't see myself sticking around with this show as I'm not really attached to any other character or actor/actress. If nothing really exciting happens duringe Jack's last episodes that will be it for me. Until next time NCIS ๐Ÿ‘‹
  5. Holy smoke! Literally. I'm going to have to do a rewatch 'cause that went by fast. Looks like we might to keep both Willa and Roarke for next season eh? If this was Roarke he really waited until the eleventh hour to show his balls. Is Tate going to get a play buddy on the ranch now? Pretty sure John will adopt the kid from the road ๐Ÿ˜ I never thought I would say this but I'm fed up with Jimmy. What an airhead. And yes the barrell girls can go as well. Enough. If she's gone they're loosing this viewer. I dunno what sort of contracts they have signed but I'm pretty sure the entire family + ranch guys will be sticking around for the long haul. Kelly does live abroad but she seems content with this gig. They killed Lee (too soon imo but I'm also glad I didn't get attached) so I think they need the three kids that's left. I'm not sure Jamie was behind the hits but he can still go to the train station imo ๐Ÿ˜’ That's when I sat up on my couch. As we came back to John by the road side after the Beth/Kayce hits. I was like "shit she's going to smoke him" and then as the kid walked away I thought she would pull a gun. Lucky for us though 'cause she probably would've put one between his eyes. These guys just hit his cellphone haha Bombs are tricky. The blast seemed to have been going outwards. For her to walk out of there unscattered seems unlikely though. Kacey could've gotten out unharmed, we didn't see him get hit by any bullets from what I saw but that will leave two Duttons in the hospital. Beth might be spending some time in there while John gets to do more water physio yay for him I dunno how the horse got injuried but I was fearing they'd put a bomb underneath or even inside the horse and it would blow the moment Rip shot him. I was like no,no,no Rip. I love when I get worked up over a tv-show, my neighbors not so much ๐Ÿ˜†
  6. I was a Glee fan back in the days but lost track of it during S4 as my favorite character Santana just wasn't as present. The news of Naya's passing hit me hard. I felt a need to rewatch the old (good) seasons and it has taken me forever as I just break down after almost every episode. I honestly didn't know Santana meant this much to me until now. I'm on S4 now and I'm skipping the episodes she's not in tbh. I agree with what you write - the show really fails hard after S3 but I'll take whatever Santana scenes I can get right now. I've also seen the outpour of praise from her fellow cast mates (bar Lea's) and other ppl that knew her. I understand one don't put out negative stuff when someone has passed but she does seemed to have been liked by close to everyone around her. I'm so grateful she gave me Santana and my heart goes out to everyone that grieves her ๐Ÿ’”
  7. Thanks. Yes I saw on Forrie's Instagram that they are back, I'm so happy ๐Ÿคฉ I hope they're keeping safe while filming, both cast and crew
  8. Two good episodes in a row. Such great writers for this show and cast and crew just amazing. I was worried for Teeter and Colby but I saw a shot of Colby in the following episode and as he has been with the show from the start I felt relief at least he would survive. Glad both did though. It feels weird to write you're happy someone gets branded but I'm happy they, along with Ryan, will be with the show for the long run now. Will frickin Patton! Wow, when I saw the old photo of him in Jamie's file I was like, no frickin way. Such great casting. He's such a sleezeball but then he invites Jamie in for some coffee. Like c'mon. Great actor. So many layers. I'm actually hoping we will see more of him in S4, and that's saying a lot as I'm not a Jamie fan haha. And even though my girl Beth had a two rough weeks it just makes me admire her character even more. She got properly knocked off the horse so to speak but yet she takes it with stride. Shouting and firing her assistant was absolutely out of line but still fun to watch. I love her balls for going up against ME, she should've enrolled Angela, and Bob, sooner than she did though. I'm hoping, and expecting, that Bethnado. Even though I loathed Wade & Jr that hanging was brutal to watch. Off to the train station they both went just like that. I'm not sure how I feel about Walker being back. Let's see where it goes I guess. I'm seeing some dislike of the language of the show out there (on social media). To me the writing/language makes the show great and relatable. Shows were they can't use the f word and has to write around it, well they stand out these days. If they just used words like that for shock value or to shout at each other over and over well then it would just be obnoxious but I don't see them doing that on this show. I've seen actual cowboys, or ppl that have lived around ranches, comment though that the language is actually tame on the show compared to IRL so that's what I'm chosing to take with me. I'm so excited for the finale. But I'm also sad the season is over and with filming haven't even started up yet I'm worried it will be more than a year until we get to go back to Yellowstone. Sorry for the multi quotes, haven't been on the board for two weeks so have some catching up to do... There's no secret I'm #TeamBeth, I'm not here to convince ppl to change their minds though, no need for me to do that I just express my own opinion and stand by it. I have to comment on these lines from you though. Malcolm Beck came in to her office and threathen her with abduction and rape(!), she could've ripped him far worse in my book. Malcolm Beck has been the most heinous foe on this show imo That daddy-daughter man-to-man talk is my favorite monologue from the entire serie. Even though I know they write good stuff I still find it hard they'll be able to top that. Just amazeballs. With shows like this - with short seasons a year apart - I always binge the previous season/s before the new one and I binged S1 + 2 just as S3 started. Glad I did 'cause there were actually bits I'd completely forgot even from S2. I totally agree with everything you write about the character Monica. This is why it rings bad that the actress isn't Native American. If she hadn't been all about her heritage it wouldn't be as off-putting but now it is. I get that it's acting and 10 years ago I probably wouldn't thought much about it but today I know better. I expect a lot from this show as they do a lot of things right. They've painted themselves in to a corner with her. I don't agree about the Beth/Jamie scenes though. For me they actually worked better while binging it. There weren't as many as I thought and I found them diverse. But hey we're all different. Even though it's fiction I find it offensive to wish her character to be sterile. We've been with the Duttons for what, half a year?, during these three seasons, with only a few flashbacks, so we don't really know them intimately. We had that one scene with Beth watching Rip with Tate and just that one scene told me everything I needed to know about how heavy this weigh on her, and then she went to scold Jamie out in the barn. And rightfully so imo. I wondered about that as well. Took them forever to drive back. I also missed Gator. Happy to see him back. I miss Monica's grandpa as well, I liked that character. I liked Teeter from get-go but that kiss was not to my liking. I was like "no, don't kiss, don't" to the TV before it happened. You could see it coming. But then Teeter saved it with that f*cked me while I had a face line and it saved that scene for me. They can blow Roarke up but I'd like to keep Willa. I like the characer and the actress so I'm hoping she will be in S4. Could just be we share a common like for Beth though lol Yes I was looking forward to the Beth/Angela team so I hope they keep that going in S4. Roarke turned out to be lame I agree. IMDB is like my bible so that's how I knew. Wouldn't have caught it otherwise though 'cause I haven't seen her in anything else before this.
  9. He can take accountability as I also wrote in my post. The adult Jamie should take accountability for his actions. Very interesting. Thanks for taking the time to post that. I think the only way Wade could be involved in this would be if Phyllis was his sister. Wade could be Jamie's biological uncle but I find it hard to believe he's the bio father. Wade could be holding a grudge against JD as he himself said they were close friends (with bio parents) and saw what was happening beforehand. Jamie could be joining forces with grumpy uncle and dimwit cousin. Perfect fit imo ๐Ÿ˜
  10. To me it looks like her bruises are gone now and she's left with a scar under one eye. Just how I see it anyways. But that Jimmy is up and about without much trouble already makes him Superman or something. Which he obviously is not. Far from. Rubberman (no pun intended) might be more fitting. Yeah I'm not sure Rip knows yet either and that makes me worried these happy, marriage bliss moments will be a thing of the past too soon. I think Rip can forgive Beth a lot, and they were what 15 year olds at the time so they were still in that window were at least I give them the benefit of doubt by being young - something I don't give Jamie as he had +2 years on them and imo should've known better. But I don't think Rip will see Jamie in the same light when he finds out his part in it. That was such a great scene with Rip and Beth. I love everything about it. It could've gone down so much differently but their love for each other - good and/or bad sides - just makes them work so well in any situation. I find Jimmy working, even sitting in a car, just so unbelievable if he had a hip replacement not long ago. And even thinking of rodeo? He should be glad just being able to get back on a horse again. We're thinking he was going forward on that offer from Willa/Roarke right? I get too wound up in the emotional parts of this show I sorta leave out the business side, has happened a lot why it was good I did a rerun of the entire series as I def missed some parts from earlier. And yes I'm pretty sure it won't be pretty when he gets out of the shock of this revelation. I wonder though if it will play out this season or will be going in to season 4? It would be good to know if Holloway signed up for just this season or the next one as well... John did ask Beth to switch in season one and I find it unlikely Beth wouldn't have done that in an instanse. Just the news made her smile wider than she usually does. But it looks like she might've not which is so OOC imo. If that matter would've come up in season two before the attack in her office then it would make sense she hadn't had time to get around to it or might've forgotten. But in season 1 Beth was both physically and mentally on point. I rewatched the entire series last week and I came upon a scene I hadn't remember between Rip/Jamie. When Jamie kills that reporter he goes to Rip for help, Rip first refuses telling him to go to his father but then Jamie sorta pulls the 'we used to be close' card and gets Rip to help out. So they were close and still seem to get along. (which to me reads as Rip has no idea Jamie has a part in Rip never being a father then or now) I first figured Beth would've known but I'm now leaning towards they were all in the dark, bar John & wifey. I also think Beth wouldn't have been able to hold that tidbit in during one of their fights. I'm not really sure where this family stands on bloodrelations vs family can be blended though. It seems the name is no 1 but it seems like John sees everyone on the ranch as family - we've seen this with at least Rip and Jimmy. Do we know John has treated Jamie harshly though? Like he didn't treat (old) Lee with silver gloves either in that one episode we got to meet him. And he did have a feud with Kacey (over getting a girl knocked up at a young age) that lasted almost a decade. From what little we've seen from the flashbacks Jamie doesn't seem to be have treated any differently up until John suddenly ships him off to college. On other shows I've seen 'the murder gene' get mention a lot and maybe John wanted to make sure Jamie wouldn't follow in his birthfathers steps? To me it seems the resentment started when he got shipped off to law school, and it was more from Jamie's side than John's. I think John is hard against all his kids. He scolded Beth in season one when she verbally attacked the governor. And that was one dang scolding. I know my dislike for Jamie might be coloring my views though. I don't have a problem with other people not knowing. These people don't seem to talk much (except about ranch work) and the ranch is rather tight knit. John's cancer got around through rumors back in S1 but it was more hinted to and not something spoken straight out. John can probably put a lid on whatever he wants to. It happen what almost 40 years ago? I do think John & wifey should've told Jamie he was adopted but that's the parents decision. I do live in another country so things are probably handled differently but I've never seen my birth certificate. Not even sure if I have one or not. I stand by Beth holding a grudge, and not only 'cause it makes for great drama which this show is about. It was not a decision Jamie should've taken, and certainly not so flippantly. He was 17/18 and tried to play daddy Dutton. He changed Beth's life forever in that instance (not really weighing in on the steralization part cause I don't know enough about that to weigh in, she's saying she can't have babies so I'm just rolling with that). Had Jamie had any sense and humanity he would've gone to his dad to ask for advice. For his own sake and for his sister's sake. If you make a bad mistake as a youngster you have to own up to it as an adult. Which Jamie clearly doesn't. When he shows a cent of remorse then we can talk but for now - Jamie's earned the wrath he's getting from Beth. As for Beth's part in it that's a whole other subject and imo can't be discussed at the same time as discussing Jamie's part. Team Beth all the way! And I like Rip so much because of Beth. If we took away Beth in the equation I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like Rip as much. He would just be a typical Cro-Magnon character on my screen. Because of Beth (and part the backstory) Rip gets layers. Take away Rip from the character Beth and I would still like her cause she's a bad ass but Rip makes her even more so.
  11. Hot damn. They had me even before the opening credits. Rip & Beth is just pure perfection. And then John apologizing to Beth. I forgive everything and I love this season even if nothing else happens. Going to go watch the episode again. Bye.
  12. An okay episode but nothing more. Beth's coat gets the MVP this episode. Hot damn that was a nice coat. Sila plot was sad. Wanted to know more about her and her family. I didn't mind the buffalo scene, fun to see what they get up to in the bunk house off hours but it's just when you have a limited time for an episode it feels like you wanted more of something else instead. I like the Willa character so far even if we didn't get to see much of her. I was hoping for Beth & Angela scene but no and no Angela in the next episode either? What's up. That episode is called The Beating so I'm hoping for Rip vs Jamie or at least a little more action than Jamie trying to knock out a window ๐Ÿคจ I like Rainwater, preferably with Mo Brings Plenty, and want more of their side of this show but in that scene with Monica I, for the first time while watching actually, felt it would've felt better if the actress really was native american. I'm going to try and get over it though as I think Kelsey did some good acting in this episode. There should be a rule that there has to be a Beth & Rip scene in every episode ๐Ÿ˜ No this was always the way they planned to reveal this. They said in this interview that they knew even before the show started. This is the way Taylor tells the story and I for one is a big fan of his storytelling. As to why John - who believe & say he knows everything that goes on on the ranch - didn't know is beyond me though. Perhaps he was so stricken with grief after the death of his wife that he clocked out for a year or two during this time? That's the most likely scenario to me at least. I'm going to go back and watch season 1 I think to see/relive the impact her death had on the family. I agree with someone upthread about them robbing us of the Beth/John reveal of the abortion/hysterectomy. I would've liked to see how John handled those news, how he handled Beth and if Beth let down her shield while revealing it to her dad. I do wonder where Jamie's baby mama is. The actress doesn't seem to be in this season so maybe they are holding that plotline for next season? Not one I long to see though. 4 episodes left... I liked this article That and the occasional voyeuristic wolf
  13. I was just a little underwhelmed with the Beth/Jamie reveal. It sorta just went down the way I expected without no other twist than that Jamie knowingly let Beth be sterilized. I thought it would be an infection or something. But I was hoping for more spark I guess. Like a fistfight between Jamie and Beth or Jamie and Rip. Well it can still happen down the road. Just that they (the cast) build up this episode to be something unlike any other when it to me wasn't, bar from that we now know for sure. I haven't seen the promo for the next episode so I dunno how John reacts. But I'm hoping we will see a follow up on this. Rip still doesn't know so I can't see that go down without punching involved, preferably to Jamie's face rather than a wall. So far Roarke doesn't seem to be up to the challenge that is Beth. His little tantrum with the fishing gear is the most spark we've seen from him. Lame. The bar scene was okay, every line out of Beth was a great quote. She's my favorite villain and heroine rolled in to one spitfire character! Rip is great. I loved him coming in swearing in the bunk house until he saw Beth and his whole face just lit up with a smile. I love him on the porch whatever the scene is. That porch brings out the best in him. Yay porch. Colby is warming up to Teeter it seems. I liked the barrel girls duo better than lone bunny Mia. Liked that they got the bunk house rolling. Nice to see Sheriff Haskell again. And Rainwater & Mo Brings Plenty. Looking forward to the Beth & Angela meet-up next episode. Half way through the season now. Ugh.
  14. I dunno why I found this episode slow. Stuff did happen, we had a great biker vs bunkhouse fight but it just struck me as slow and as we are soon midway through the season I get nervous (and sad). Okay gonna stick with this episode and the great parts. Glad Jimmy is okay. I've only seen the episode once but did I hear right - he had a hip replacement? So yeah Mia he probably shouldn't have sex right now either way. I don't really get the eagerness with her to "consumate", it doesn't really fit with a scenario where she's an adrenalin junkie as she's not the one at risk ๐Ÿ˜• I liked seeing Jimmy's buttcheeks though, suits his character, could've been without Mia's though... Are we supposed to like the Governor now? I was like totally sure she was on the bad side but no...? And either way, as I've written before, I like her with John. I agree the tent scene with him and Kacey was a bit of a fail but the scenery were nice so whatever. Kacey and Monica, yeah blah. Tate seems to living his best summer though. Good for him. Run Tate run. The wolf should be listed in the main credits imo. He might be this seasons mightiest antagonist. Aww Rip & Beth still being the best couple. Awkward scenes are not pleasant though and the call-me-wife scene certainly was one of those. The rest and the conclusion was sweet though. I think most of us viewers had already suspected one of the issues weighing hard on Beth had something to do with a baby/child. So now we know she can't have babies but we don't know why but it's clearly linked to Jamie somehow. In epsiode 5 Young Jamie is in the cast list so we are getting flashbacks in the upcoming episode (and unfortunately present day Jamie, sorry-not-sorry). I don't read it as Rip was lying (consiously or unconsiously) about not wanting kids or not caring about that - I think he's still doubting her and that she'll stay. I think he senses there's more to it (like it most often is with Beth) and worries how that will affect their relationship. That's my take on it at least. I've been known to be wrong though so I'm not holding is as the truth. I liked Angela Blue Thunder and her entire being/presence. I loved the actress on The Alienist unfortunately it looks like we're only getting her for 4 episodes but hopefully she'll be back in season 4 (and 5 & 6) Still a fan of Teeter ๐Ÿ˜† so I think Mia is my only no no so far this season. Beth climbing the fence and the way she approached the Rip manor could've been my favorite scene of the episode but then the wife thing spoiled it so it will be a toss up between Rip ramming the bikes scene and the John vs bikers scene at the very end. I'm looking forward to the Roarke/Beth showdown that must be in the horizon. That quickly changed from biatch in a good way to biatch in the bad way ๐Ÿคญ
  15. That was such a great little scene. I've seen it like 10 times already haha. I also like Beth's "Thank you daddy". Even watching Ryan's reaction on the side was fun. Another good episode. For someone who's not even from the US (& probably for anyone) it really is a visible beautiful show and even if John & Tate are urinating in the scene the view is still/just breathtaking. Jamie is so sly. Using his sister (who he cares zero about) in that speech to the victim's father. Well I gotta give it to him, he won that travesty over. I have a really hard time seeing them getting rid of Jimmy (and but he almost deserves getting fired for being so dumb as to not take the rodeo serious. I do like the character bar from this particulary scene though. I like his growth from season one even if it plummeted with this scene. Hopefully he'll rise again. Also the actor is so active on Instagram, he's liked like every post I've made on the shows IG account. I also wouldn't want the show without the stories from the Bunkhouse so here's to hoping he'll be back up soon. I forgot to quote but yeah that scene with John & Tate did come of as a little flat, mostly from the boy. But I'm thinking Tate hasn't been back long, I mean Beth's face still showing signs of her assault so we can't be so far along from Tate's abduction, so he should still be a little numb. However this scene in ep 3 probably should've come before the great scenes we've seen with the grandfather/grandson that we've seen in ep 1 & 2. But I'm still buying he's not back to his old form. A kid could probably jump back from such an ordeal quicker than an adult (not always though) and it seemes grandpa's remedy is best for him. Which Monica got as she asked John to take Tate up there so even if the parents aren't that active with him we only see a small portion of their day so them just being up there with him and taking him to the rodeo might just be what he needs right now. I find Teeter funny. That scene with her at the campfire with Colby was comic relief to me. She's totally pushing boundaries and I'm here for it. I like the Governor with John but I don't trust her one bit. They do make a cute couple though. I wonder if they will be back to getting it on ๐Ÿ˜ I haven't seen a promo for next week's ep so I'm in the dark on what's to come. Still excited though. This show always brings.
