  1. And yet, knowing who is going to win Veto can help an HoH. Put the Veto holder on the block and create a backdoor, for example, or put the winner's allies up and force her to choose. It WAS pointless, but it didn't have to be. The whole double eviction was such a mess and a disappointment. If they can do DE in an hour when it's live TV, why can't they keep it tight online? I thought the reason Veto was the care package was so that they could get the show done in a timely manner. And shouldn't an endurance HOH follow double eviction?
  2. Actually, in BBOTT only 2 of the 7 CPs guarantee its winners safety for the week: Safety Servant and Co-HoH. At least according to the original descriptions. I noted immediately that CBS did not list the prize as "The Golden Power" and wondered how they planned to screw us, the voters. :)
  3. I realized that announcing who would win Veto before nominees were selected could be a problem (and Big Brother likely did too, since they so carefully pointed out the why of the timing of the Veto award). But there was nothing in the CP restricting the HoH from nominating the CP winner. This "Veto" was different. Normally, the Veto does not protect its winner from being placed on the block with the initial nominations, like this one did for TWO hamsters. The primary function of the Veto is to REMOVE a nominee from the block. It's secondary function protects the user of the Veto from bring the replacement nominee, but the Veto has to be USED for this function to come into play.. What if Shelby and Morgan had been nominated? If this were truly a "normal" Veto, only one of them could have come off the block.
  4. I think BB should have announced the CP winner in place of the Veto competition, after the nominees had been chosen by the HoH. I'm no expert, but: Power of Veto (original): Winner can remove a nominee from the block but the winner is NOT safe from being nominated. GOLDEN Power of Veto (most commonly used on BB): Winner can take a nominee down and cannot be picked to replace the saved hamster. DIAMOND Power of Veto: Winner is safe from nomination, can take a nominee down from the block, AND names the replacement nominee (usurping the power normally held by the HoH).
  5. I know that many of you are, right now, sad Ball Smashers fans. May I remind you that after the next eviction, three (of four) original Ball Smasher hamsters will still be in the house? By the way, I'm voting for Morgan. At least I would vote for her but since America is voting for Alex or Whitney, there really is no point. See? It's Big Brother. Nobody gets what they want.
  6. And booze. Don't forget booze. Some on Twitter are theorizing that the Dani stans are splitting the vote, so Shelby is looking good for ACP.
  7. Well, it's not popular here, I guess, but I'm voting for Jason for ACP. I do want Krissy to go home and I will nominate her this week, but I'd rather see the two sides even up again. I also just like messing with the hamsters. Does America like the Misfits? Does America like the Ball Smashers? America in the form of me just wants a good game and doesn't really like any of you except... The only one for sure I want to make Final 3 is Justin. But I hope that whatever hamsters are sitting there with him played so hard to get there that I would have a hard time deciding on a winner.
  8. Say what you will about Scott, but so far he's the only HoH to evict his target...AND the only HoH to not evict a fellow alliance member.
  9. So Morgan took herself off the block with the veto and Krissy put Whitney up. I think Scott and Neeley should get together to get their allies to vote out Whitney, who's on her way to making the final three. I love how she's playing the game but isn't one of the hamsters going to claim that why she wanted to be on the block is kind of shady?
  10. I'm neither Team Jamboree nor Team Ball Smashers. I just want to see a good game. Neely or Shelby can go next. Neither brings anything to the game, if you ask me. I was thinking the same about Krissy but her delusions are entertaining. I'm nominating Neely. Watching another ally of the HoH get evicted will be fun.
  11. I want Justin to be a have-not just to see what he can do with slop.
  12. From jokersupdates.com: 2:38 PM Scott says half the people in the house have never heard of Dr. Will. Alex says she knows and don't even get her started #bbott
  13. ACP: Alex. We can't worry about what she's not getting in the future when she needs it now. Nominee: Neely. I'm voting out all hamsters who don't know how the game works. Krissy would have been my choice had she not won HoH. Justin is playing a floating charm game and I am enjoying it. From jokersupdates.com: "Justin and Whitney in TBR. Whitney tells Justin he didn't really try to win the comp. Justin says he gave it 80 percent. Whitney says he could have bulldozed everyone out of the game. Justin says she is a sweetie. She replies that's why she was "casted." She says she is naive and sweet. Justin says she is not naive and that he is on to her. Whitney says she is on to Justin as well. Justin tells her she is not on their radar."
  14. Practically? Literally, at least the few times I've seen them. Let's hope the long lives of showmances last season is an anomaly we'll never see again.
  15. Oooh! A BB alternate universe. I loooooove that!
