  1. Thank you so much. I definitely confused Jake’s and Aiden’s names. I will try to do only one other thing while watching GH 😆. I like Blaze and Kristina as a couple. Kate Mansi is a great choice for Kristina. I think physically she bears a strong resemblence to Alexis and Sonny. And good casting for adorable little Donna; she looks like Sonny’s daughter too (I won’t mention her mother). Full disclosure, I really like Donna because my IRL name isn’t Squeezel.
  2. I have a request: can someone explain some of the current kids to me? I'm getting confused because I think some of the actors have changed and I can't tell them apart. Elizabeth has 3: Cam (I know him.) His dad is a character that I don't know, who could possibly be most sincerely dead, since I saw Cam talk to his ghost at the cemetary. Aiden. Jason is his father. Aiden is tall and thin with lighter color hair, who doesn't look like the three mentioned below. Jake. Who is his father? Is he the one who bakes and was close with Franco? He has dark hair and may have been SORASed recently. Sam has Danny. Jason is his father. Is this a new actor? He has dark hair that sticks up in the front. Dante has Rocco. LuLu is his mother? Is this a new actor? I can't tell Jake, Danny, and Rocco apart. It would be helpful if when they were onscreen, there was a bubble over their heads with their names and pictures of their current parents. There was a recent conversation between Elizabeth and Finn. She asked if Finn was comfortable with XXXX being gay -- but I can't remember if she said Aiden or Jake. And how did I miss a coming-out conversation? I need to pay better attention, especially now that we have better writers. Thank you!
  3. I know it wasn't a grammar error. I just wanted to share it. I wasn't aware of the other thread.
  4. On today's CBS Sunday Morning, Jane Pauley was interviewing a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. His area of expertise is jail breaks, people who escape from prison. He couldn't pronounce escape. The first time he did it, I thought that maybe he just stumbled over his words, but no, he said "exscape" every single time. It reminds me of Patricia Marquette on "Medium." She worked at the "districk" Attorney's office. Couldn't someone stop filing to tell them?
  5. I'm really disappointed that this was canceled. Good show with a lot of potential. At least we got one season.
  6. I have pretty low expectations for this show - I really just want to be entertained - but this was ridiculous. Maybe the season finale can be the gang playing Clue on game night. And if Kendra was practically dead before the paramedics revived her, shouldn't she have been resting in the hospital bed and Owen should have been wheeled in to see her?
  7. I'm a week behind, just watched this, and wanted to comment on "made you look." I found that absurdly funny and I'm still laughing. It was unexpected and a perfect response to the police officer's comment. It's been a long time since I've read any if the books, but remember that some of the crimes were gruesome. I'm glad to see some lighthearted moments and am enjoying the cast.
  8. Stephen Colbert skewers Ingo - and soap opera plots in general - in his 12/14/2021 monologue.
  9. Tvinsider.com reported that new episodes are scheduled to air on August 3.
  10. I don't get having doors that lead outside in a bedroom. I'd be concerned about security, but I like opening the windows during nice weather. I don't have to worry about someone climbing in my bedroom window because of the way it's situated. There's no way I'd sleep with an open door. Also, on the majority of these reno shows, beautiful windows are installed but they don't appear to have screens. I sometimes think I'm the only person left who likes letting fresh air - and no bugs - in.
  11. Thank you "dcally" (had to put your name in quotes because it keeps auto-changing to "really"). My PBS station finally broadcast it this past Saturday night and it successfully recorded. I thought it was hilarious. And I found out that I do have Hulu so now I have two options.
  12. Asking this here because there's not a forum for "Miranda." My PBS station in Atlanta will put "Miranda" on the schedule and my DVR is set to record it. Then I get a message that due to a schedule change, it didn't record. Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you!
  13. Hi Books Rule. I made the Shrimp Perloo a while ago and remember being disappointed. It was an adequate meal but nothing special. I'm sure I added cayenne and jalapeno since I like spicy food, but it was bland. Maybe I didn't use enough salt..
  14. Books Rule, I've made the Italian Cream Cake twice. It's really delicious, especially the frosting. As usual, it's also a lot of work. One tip, you can find the cream of coconut at the supermarket in the "cocktail" section (thinking of Aunt Sandy).
  15. The new season (15) is being shown in Atlanta. They made a nice looking almond cake. Has anyone tried it yet? I've been eating my frozen bowls of the broccoli cheese soup and creamy cauliflower soup. They are both delicious and easy to make.
