  1. The look on Kody’s face after Robin joked about leaving him was hilarious. How insensitive can you be to make a joke like that after your husband has been trampled by three wives rushing out the door? Meri did a great job advocating for herself. Robin cried for some reason. Kody sulked on the edge of the bench. 10/10 would watch again.
  2. That mini challenge was everything! Loved MIB beating Marcia’s face, Sasha knocking off the wig to whip her hair back and forth and all her choreo, then Anetra went all Anetra… best mini challenge in a long long time! Anetra is the true lip sync assassin. You give her an up tempo song and she will slay anyone.
  3. This might very well be the worst season of this show. Thanks MTV!
  4. The runway was ridiculous. I swear we saw more shots of judges that some of the contestants. This season is the worst.
  5. Oh and Sandro’s Instagram account is so good! He has super easy recipes that are great for kids, especially those with autism or sensory issues. I think I’m going to try the apple/pear crumble with my preschooler.
  6. I liked the use of crickets but I really just want to say how dreamy Sandro looked in his black angel wings. And was he wearing eye makeup? I swear the first time he appeared this episode I was shocked at how good he looked. Let’s see… the white truffles and orange sounded disgusting. So there you go. A Sandwich Sandro post - random comment + Sandro + random comment. A Sandro trifle, if you will. That was Kevin. He is hilarious and I love his accent too. So glad he’s staying.
  7. Or maybe there isn’t a loved one and he’d be willing to take a position across the pond nannying for a three year old who hates to sleep…
  8. Gosh is Sandro attractive. Bummer we didn’t get a phone call to loved ones announcing his star baker win. Where’s the Sandro appreciation thread?
  9. This was a great episode as it reminded me how instrumental Mexican cooking is to my identity as a native Los Angeleno. It seems as though a lot of Americans feel similarly outraged. Haha I’m just happy that I was raised and live in a city that has benefited so much from such a rich and tasty culinary heritage. Mexican food feels more like home cooking to me than some American food. #tacotrucksoneverycorner ❤️
  10. Yannick is such a beautiful guy. I’m talking outside beauty, not inner beauty. Lol I think his clothes are interesting, but I don’t know many people who would actually wear them. Anyways, I’m glad that he won and that he was on my tv screen. Ok shallow comment completed. Also it was cute when Heidi busted out her German to his family to announce his victory.
  11. 1) I had always thought “biscuit” was one of those britishisms that meant cookie, but today for the first time I heard them refer to cookies which left me gobsmacked. What exactly is a biscuit? In England? Haha 2) How does Sandro look like that and bake like that? I know he mentioned going to the gym twice a day, but many super fit people act like sugar is the worst thing in the planet, so I was surprised to see him in the tent. Maybe he bakes things and takes them into work, I don’t know… 🤔
  12. I really liked Daya Betty’s solo performance. I was totally expecting Carrie or Angeria to get congeniality. And I completely agree that the lip synch is tired. They should have to do that plus a talent portion.
  13. I like the Catwalk song. *ducks* lol
  14. I felt like there was an episode missing. They declare love and then they’re happily PDAing while playing cricket with the fam? I was so confused I had to check to make sure Netflix hadn’t fast forwarded an episode or something.
  15. I love how this show captures the “all you need is a good idea + tech and vast riches await” zeitgeist of the era. Every other day you were hearing about “disrupters” selling companies for hundreds of millions of dollars. People snapping up domain names. Everyone was worried about getting left behind and Holmes really preyed in those fears. Amanda has that voice down pat.
  16. I liked the ending, more or less. Was glad Elsa died as there no way she could have survived an arrow wound like that on the frontier. Plus we got to see some heart rending acting from the leads as they said goodbye. As a sort of new mom to a toddler, those scenes gutted me. I liked the Crow healing rituals and beautiful outfits. I really appreciated all the native representation here and would have loved to seen even more. I will miss seeing the story of the immigrants next season and was sad that none of them made it. You’d think after all they had been through they would have stuck with the guides, but oh well I guess not. I also wondered about Ennis, but I assume Heaven is a multiverse and in his version he and Elsa are roping cattle. And speaking of cowboys, I was sad when they parted ways from the group. I’m realizing that I pretty much liked all the characters in this show, once Elsa was doomed. one last thing - I really liked the dialogue between everyone… Elsa’s soliloquies got a little tiresome for me, but the dialogue between the characters was great and the actors really sold it.
  17. I’m more interested in the immigrants than I am Elsa and her family. And now it seems like all the immigrants are dead. Bummer.
  18. I could see that. Pasadena has some amazing homes. Thanks!
  19. Yeah I was trying to figure out where that pantry having house was supposed to be. Lol That large backyard was ridiculous. There are houses in Beverly Hills with smaller backyards. Haha View Park and West Adams are traditionally black neighborhoods in la with beautiful large old homes that could potentially have a pantry like that but that yard though. No one was complaining about driving out the valley or to the inland empire so I am just befuddled. Will need to rewatch but it looked like a Hancock park/Brentwood spot. It’s supposed to be Tiffany’s parents, right? Do we know anything about them? I was thinking about this the whole show. Lol
  20. Adding to the hibiscus discussion haha - sorrel is the Jamaican version of the Mexican jamaica agua fresca… that was my first introduction to the hibiscus flavor. Crystelle’s phone call home makes me wish I had sisters. She and her family seem really lovely. I was happy that a bake that had so much meaning for her was celebrated with a handshake. Pru’s hilarious. “Maybe if you put the giant rock hard sausage in one or both of the holes you’d get a squirt - wait, what are you laughing about?” I mean one time I said in complete earnest that I loved tossing salads, but immediately realized what I said and started laughing. Squirt and holes didn’t make her pause? At all? Haha
  21. Okay so does anyone have any rule of thumb strategies for making the most of the 3 minutes? I’d head to the sink, the trash, and search for anything with writing - the stencils, the H at 14 inches on the tape measure, the potluck sheet... Patterns are also key (like the cannoli). Meanwhile partner looks in fridge, counters. The writing clues have been key.
  22. I will say that you (I) just have to administer the shots at the same time. So one could do 10pm when you’re at home. So yeah, I don’t know why she was doing them at work. Lol
  23. Yeah it really was. Especially when she did all that work for it not to work the first time. The IVF subplot was probably my favorite thing of the season.
  24. Yeah I’ve watched Drag Race since Season 1, Canada, and both seasons of U.K. and that was the *worst* snatch game that ever snatched. I mean it was really, really bad.
  25. Oh gosh yes. The one with the mustache was so hot. I had my eyes trained on him the entire time. Having hot shirtless professional dancers seems behind you seems like a risky move - hard to stand out. Yeah that answer just cemented her chances (slim as they were) shut. For being so smart, that was a dumb answer Rosé! Yes- the Kamala and not-Denali answers were so good! All of her answers were flawless and she hit all the marks. Our professional Rosé!
