If Aurora or Brianna needed surgery Kody would have picked them up and carried them all the way to NY if need be. But his own daughter, Ysabel nope let her get there on her own. He wasn't going to go with his daughter. He even told Chrisine let her by herself. Yeah Kody you moron like a hospital is going  to let a minor sign herself in for surgery. Nothing Meri did can equal the evilness of Kody and Robyn in respect to how Kody treated Ysabel.

Yup! And the poor child was complaining about being in pain, but yet he was telling her to wait longer.  Contrast that with the coddling and babying of Robyn's daughter over a panic attack.

Anyone remember when Truely fell ill in LV and had to be hospitalized? I always suspected her sickness progressed so badly and so far was because she wasn't getting the attention she needed from the adults in her life.  The child was in acute kidney failure and was incredibly dehydrated. I was seething that episode.

On that note, I wonder who took care of Truely while Christine was away with Ysabel? Did one of the sister wives step up, you know which is supposed to be the biggest perks of that ply thug life? Janelle maybe because we know it ain't Meri or Sobyn.

Who called who a drug addict? We've never even really seen Gizelle drink that much so if Karen is calling Gizelle a "drug addict," that's very far fetched.  It's also damaging since Gizelle has 3 minor children that could be impacted by a statement of their mother being a drug addict.

Candiace saying "yo momma" is much lower than calling somebody a drug addict, though.

Candiace actually kept the crying to a minimum on this reunion.  Growth.

I don't think a beneficial or productive conversation about colorism can be had within the cast because the cast members who are scoffing at Candiace's claims of colorism are the ones who are benefitting from it.  Those cast members would just say Candiace is unlikeable and that's why she gets the heat more than them.  Both situations can actually be true.

A prime example this season is Candiace vs Mia and Ashley vs. Mia.  Candiace was all sorts of terrible for saying "yo momma" but not a blip when Ashley asked if G had Alzheimers.  Karen didn't cry about it and one if not both of her parents died from Alzheimers ---it was a big reason why she was mad at Gizelle.

Another example is excusing physical violence.  Why was it so terrible, so bad when Monique put her hands on Candiace and there were songs and remixes about "We as black women don't do that" and "Monique, you have destroyed the image of black women on this show" but it's ok for light skinned Mia to whip Candiace's ass if need be.  We're gonna shrug and say "Oh well you had it coming" when Mia does it but "Monique turned the show into Love & Hip Hop" when she did it? Also, Mia was physically provoking to Wendy (the other dark skinned person on the cast) on several occasions and not one person took Mia to task about that.

    • Just like they didn't take Robyn to task about running up in Ashley's job to physically confront her.
    • Just like they didn't take Robyn to task for trying to fight Monique on the street.
    • Just like they didn't take Ashley to task for getting up in Candiace's face in Candiace's home and that's what led to the butter knife incident

Gizelle "wished death" on Ray but we didn't see Karen running to HR claiming to be "scared."  "We're scared" (whether it's Candiace, Wendy or Monique doing the scaring) only seems to happen with the darker skinned cast members, so I don't think "The OGs" would be able to have a productive conversation about colorism because they reap the benefits of it.

Ironically, I think of the 4 OGs, Robyn (the one who looks the most Caucasian) would probably be the one who is the most reasonable about colorism.  Karen, Gizelle and Ashley?  Nope.

Everything is on point in this post but I have to disagree with the bolded. It was Robyn who basically said that if you took Candiace's words and put them in Karen's or Gizelle's mouth they would sound less harsh and not offensive and come off more playful.  So basically easier to take coming out of the light skin chick's mouth - the very definition of colorism.

They have it in their mind now and it is the official narrative of the show that Candiace's mouth is hellfire. Now, anytime she tells someone they have a run in their stocking, they will hear it as her damning their soul to eternal hell! Seriously, 'yo mama' the 1970s go to insult hurled by Fred Sanford, Aunt Esther or George Jefferson is now the greatest insult in the world.

I've been loving Wendy keeping her foot on Gizelle's multi-neck. I don't care that her reads are coming off rehearsed to some. She still manages to be quick on her feet in the moment. Plus, I think her anger at Gizelle is justified. Why bring something you know to be lie on the show? To be a messy bitch!

Gizelle should've rehearsed some, maybe she would look less like a deer in some headlights if she did. It is like she learned nothing from last year.

Gizelle's style? Used to be funny but now that I have seen what she has done to that poor house, I don't even know if I can laugh at it anymore because I almost think her problem may be medical.  Who does that to a house? I think she will not see maximum resale value in it because of the disjointed renovations. Jesus be an architect!

I get that people find the 'you ain't got no man' digs as misogynistic, which they are, however, it is hitting Gizelle where she lives. It is a sensitive point for her because one does get the sense that she wants a relationship and sees great value in being in one to the point of going back to a man who served her the greatest humiliation of her life. If I don't like a bitch, best believe, I am gonna hit her where she lives about an issue she is sensitive about. True facts!

What is the point of having surveillance cameras, alarm systems, etc. if literally anyone can walk off the street, have a long chat by your sliding glass door, shatter the glass, and run off with all of your expensive things?

Next day you can watch your house get robbed in quasi-sepia tones and notice how amazing the hedges and walkway look!

  5. If Gizelle now thinks that violence is an appropriate response to words, then Karen would have been in the right to slap the canks off her ankles when she said Ray wanted Erica Liles.

I see some were getting annoyed with Wendy, but I loved that she was keeping her foot on ALL THE TIERS of Gizelle's neck. I really couldn't enjoy last reunion's Giz dragging, because I just couldn't get behind Fistnique!

Mia's social media antics have made her wholly unlikeable for me.

It makes me sad when I think Kootie has probably never seen his third grandchild.  I would think someone would have posted that scarecrow wannabe with little Avalon, if he had made an effort to see her.

    Scarecrow is a good description.

  7. I haven't been in this forum since the last season ended so had to come here when I had some time to comment on this epic news.

I don't think I have been this shocked by a Sister Wives announcement since Meri divorced Kody so he could marry Robyn, in that epic thread aptly titled "the dark wife rises" LOL! Only difference is that I am positively giddy over this news. Honestly, I never expected any of the wives to leave, most especially Meri. Last season showed she is willing to brave any and all humiliations to get back into the Kodsters good graces. He basically said to her face: I don't want your ass. The love is dead!

Good for her!  I knew if she had an ounce of dignity left, it was her only course of action after Kody's outrageous behavior over Ysabel's treatment procedure.  One thing to subject herself to the abuse heaped on herself by him, but no mother worthy of the title would stand for such an attitude from the father of the child.

Kody's demonic disdain - yes, DEMONIC DISDAIN - for Ysabel's very real pain last season was him at his absolute worst, which is saying something! He discounted her physical pain and wanted a teenager to get on a plane BY HERSELF for spinal fucking surgery. Contrast that with how he coddled Robyn's daughter over a fucking panic attacked and my rage knows no bounds!

Yay, good for Christine! I was one of those who firmly believed she was ready to jump. Glad she did it!

On a sad note though…I don’t think she’ll have her own show. Christine will be just another single mum. There are probably a few million of those in the US. Nothing special like 20 kids, a surviving in the wilderness or polygamist husband.

That is all she has ever been.

Also, my petty self hopes that Meri is jealous that she didn't leave first.  "You don't get to do this."  "Look at the mountain."  That scene was probably scripted, but it turns out that Christine saying, "I can't do marriage with Kody any more" was a true statement.

Somehow I doubt this. I think Meri will see herself as the hero that is even more committed and see this as her chance to get back in Kody's sex rotation as a reward for not leaving and "taking the easy road out."

Nothing about Ericka is warm or kind. I don't think she was kind to her hubby either (mutual dissatisfaction). Someone had suggested perhaps Ericka kept the "embarrassing details"  of his accident secret when she first revealed he broke his ankle. What is so embarrassing about reporting the truth back then? If all of these ladies are considered her "friends" (as she indicated in the "I am getting a divorce" text), then why could she not say he suffered a brain injury? Is that embarrassing?  Terrible -yes! Tragic-yes! Difficult-yes! Embarrassing? Me thinks this twit has more embarrassing things on their way out to the public.

Nothing embarrassing at all. However, it could've been career ender and then the Great Grift, The Stupendous Ponzi Scheme would've been over. Seriously, if you are client of Tom's, who is in the midst of negotiating a potential multi-million dollar settlement for you, would you want an attorney with a traumatic brain injury by your side?

All of this was in aid of keeping that filthy lucre coming in. No thought was made to the best interest of his clients. Only the best interests of his and Pussy Patting Barbie rolling in the green.

Not that there is anything to get, but I have wondered if any of Tom's clients have thought to allege that they didn't have competent counsel due to all this dementia talk.

I couldn't even bring myself to watch Part II yet. I know and have heard all the bullshit and can't stand to watch as 2/3 of the cast make a meal out of and eat  every morsel of Erika's explosive diarrhea of lies for hours on end. It is too much to stomach. Maybe I will work up the nerve later tonight.

I agree that the not into female friends should have been a huge red flag. The bs about all women hating gorgeous women is a pet peeve of mine as well. I'll be friends with anyone who's kind. My friend who's the biggest boy magnet is the one I trust the most. Plus, Erika is in fucking LA. It's a city full of gorgeous women. She could easily make friends as hot as her if she wanted to. I'm not saying jealousy doesn't exist. It obviously does, and we've seen it on the show time and time again. Many of us have experienced it ourselves for one reason or another.

I know Denise wasn't well-liked on this show and the rumors about Heather Locklear, but she is a gorgeous woman who has lots of other gorgeous friends (Joanna Krupa, Carmen Electra, Krista Allen, just to name a few).

One thing I've seen happen with some beautiful women is they get so used to having all the attention that they hate when there's someone else in the room they have to share it with. (The most beautiful woman I knew IRL was like this. She was sweet, but so jealous and insecure that she drives her poor husband crazy.) I understood why Erika was somewhat leery with Vanderpump, but her treatment of her was pretty OTT for someone who hadn't been wronged by her. Maybe she was jealous that Vanderpump is not only beautiful, but she has so much else going for her. There are lots of blonde bombshells in Hollywood, but someone who's smart, charming, funny, successful and happens to have looks on top of it is still pretty rare.

I never got the sense that Erika was jealous of LVP over her looks or success, but rather I saw it as that she saw LVP as competition for the fanbase she catered to - the gay community. No secret that LVP had/has (?) a huge gay following, bordering on becoming a gay icon and a huge proponent of LBGTQ rights.  Erika as her alter ego, Erika Jayne's niche was touring at gay clubs and events. I just think she felt she was in competition with LVP about being a fave of that particular fanbase.

I watched the recent Tom video. That was such a vague question. The reporter just asked if Erika knew. Knew what? I don't buy the dementia story and think it is a tactic to avoid criminal prosecution but that video doesn't really holds water and will be easily refuted.

BTW, he does look like he has aged 10-15 years, but I have no doubt finally being caught did that.

Mary’s house looks like Alice in Wonderland, like someone with psychosis decorated it. She is bizarre on every level.

This was funny because I was thinking those dining room chairs were something out of Beetlejuice, but Alice in Wonderland is more on point. I half expected them to come to life and hold down that poor construction guy.

More shocking than Whitney's robot sex reinactment was Mary talking about fishy vaginas. Firstly, I thought as a church cult leader she would be counselling her son NOT to engage in pre-marital sex.  Secondly, what a weirdly inappropriate conversation to have with your construction guy/male relative.

Jennie is so pretty to me. She also looks young for her age and in a natural way, which is saying something on these franchises. However, in one of her scenes (visiting felonious Jen Shah) she was styled like she was still in the 80s.

I'm starting to believe that Heather is a sub with a humiliation fetish that just loves being dominated by Jen Shah.

Meredith's TH in the snake skin dress with the deep wide plunging neckline looks so awkward/uncomfortable and makes her chest area look like a plastic breast plate.

I may be the only one, but Meredith always looked like she could be Lisa Vanderpump's little sister.

Lisa going so hard for Jen Shah continues to make no sense.

I reluctantly think there is some truth to this.

I think all the things she has said and done were at his behest and direction. I don't think he is mentally incapacitated. I don't believe Erika was in on it from go, but I believe once he saw the walls closing in, he confessed his sins (or at least some of them) to her and then did what he could to protect and shield her. The only question I have is whether it was days, weeks, months or years. I believe Tom's protection included squirreling away funds and also naming her as payee on various lawsuits instead of himself or the firm. That is a fucking weird thing to do.  Funnily enough, it is one way to ensure she gets paid as it is a guaranteed annual payment from the state lottery. Wouldn't be surprised if more of these arrangements were uncovered.

I think it all his idea to paint him as the cheating cad in their marriage to give her a reason to divorce and the declining mental health shit as a way to try to save his bacon from jail time. He is the mastermind behind it all and she appreciates him still trying to protect and provide even though he is going down with the ship. I think this also might explain why she completely lost it in at Kyle's desert home over the Tom still calls her thing.  She feels that she failed Tom in that moment and might have blown their defense.

For the karma reason alone, I'd give RR a pass as well.

But after a bit of thought, I actually don't mind what RR is doing. He is messy and definately seems to like the fame, but I strongly support the idea of sharing public information in a digestible manner for the general population - even if it is by an attorney.  Why not?

Another attorney working to take Ericka down is Jay Edelson.  He represents the flight crash victims and he's doing so pro bono. He mostly talks about the case on podcasts. He's a frequent guest of Kate Casey:
    https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/reality-life-with-kate-casey/id1154758766

    Twitter
    @jayedelson
    @EdelsonCreative

    From a June article:
"Attorney Jay Edelson Says Erika Jayne Was Was “Knee-Deep In This Fraud"
    https://www.realitytea.com/2021/06/17/erika-jayne-knee-fraud/

Anyway, I'm of the belief that what these two are doing by sharing public info in a way the general population can understand can only be good for us, and that there should be far more of it.

The more the public knows, the better off we are. I used to work at West Law in the arbitration department. It's scary how much dirtly laundry rich people can hide via arbitration. SCARY.

When you give it more thought, this isn't a family law case. These are public lawsuits, and as long as they are not violating any laws, rules of procedure or attorney client privilege, WTF not share! These are our tax dollars at work. Might even learn something
