  1. Throughout the show, especially with older Sheldon narrating, I knew that Young Sheldon was either older Sheldon telling someone his story, or writing about himself.   I'm beginning to wonder, though,  if older Sheldon is leaving out some of the negative things like how BBT Sheldon described George.  Maybe what older Sheldon chose to focus on was the more positive aspects of George.    Or older Sheldon is writing a story based on his life but not exactly.  That would explain some of the discrepancies.  This would mean that the "real" version of Sheldon was BBT Sheldon and older Sheldon, and Young Sheldon was a fictionalized version that older Sheldon wrote.  This might be an interesting twist.

  2. I thought it was a nice series finale.  I liked the flash forward, so we got to see the future for the characters.    Though, I think it would have been better if they had an episode  before this showing some more of the direction the characters were going in.  Like if the present day had stopped  with Abishola starting medical school, Christina getting pregnant, and Dele starting whatever school he decided on.  Those would have probably occured around the same thing, though I agree 7 years would be a bit short to be a dr, unless she had just finished or was still in her residency.   Overall, I thought it was good and mostly made sense given what we saw in the past.

Though part of me thought it would be funny to have a Newhart type ending, with Billy Gardell waking  up next to Melissa McCarthy saying you won't believe the dream I just had.....

Aw, Dele didn’t get into Juilliard (I suspect some of Dele’s dance routine was done by a stunt double). But there are other options

I was kind of glad that they showed him looking at other options.   Abishola was always pushing him to get into Harvard and then Juliard, and they are now ok looking at other options, also she is supportive of him majoring in dance.

I assume the actress knew how to play the guitar? Or maybe she just learned it for the scene since it seemed like a simple routine

I've read she's a musician in real life, she even played with David Bowie.

  4. I agree with what others have said about Miguel, and was actually thinking the same thing before I read what others said.  The version of Rebecca was the younger one that was with Jack, before she fell in love with Miguel.  That's why she didn't talk to him as long.  If she was going to end up with Miguel, she would have been the older version of herself that was the age she was with Miguel.

And I also think that the reason she was the younger version of herself that was with Jack was that her and Jack's relationship was cut short, and was unfinished because he died so young and so sudden.  Miguel and Rebecca's relationship wasn't cut short and met a more natural end, with them growing old together.

  5. This last episode was terribly confusing.  I didn't get Nolan's storyline at all.    It started off ok but I missed what was going on in that small town. Not good at all and I normally like the show.

Part of it might be because the characters were too fragmented in their own stories, but it was too hard to follow.

And I must have missed something: why was she trying to get him sent to NA? Who was going to pay for his treatment there? The treatment in Britain was, according to Helen, a one in a billion shot. 🤦‍♀️

I think it was because the parents were not ready to let the boy go, but the UK government was forcing them to.  Helen knew if they went to NA they would be able to decide themselves what they should do.  I'm not sure how they would have paid though because they wouldn't be insured, though maybe Helen knows how to get them in anyway.

The point of the whole thing might be that Helen decides to go back to the US to practice medicine if she doesn't like the government control that was shown here.

Actually, I rewatched the FF scene from the beginning of E3 when we first see Jack with the Big Green Egg. He says to his girlfriend(?), "Every once in a while the smell hits me and takes me right back to that day." Then we see him remembering and hear Toby saying, "Don't get too close, buddy," then Jack crying, then Kate calling out "Jack!" We're led to infer that there was an accident with the BBQ when he was a child, but does Jack actually think there was? He doesn't say anything to contradict the facts that we learned from the latest ep. Is there another FF where he says more about it?

Either that, or I'm wondering if there was a rewrite in the story. Maybe they didn't want to shoot a scene where a child was burned by the bbq?   So they rewrote the story to be Jack fell instead of getting burned by the bbq.

  8. The thought crossed my mind that Fuentes was the one that actually started the ransomware attack to get Max to sign the budget.  It seems like a strange coincidence that this would happen just as the budget needed to be signed, and all of a sudden she got the money and it was fixed after he signed the budget. If this is what happened she really is pure evil.  Maybe that's part of what they were talking about in the preview if this actually is what happened.

I think it would have been better if they brought the guy with the pacemaker to another hospital, and then removed and replaced it.  I'm not sure what they expected to happen when they removed it without being able to replace it.

  9. I think this is an interesting premise for a show, with the 3 timelines.   I did find it a bit confusing the way it went back and forth between the timelines.  I think it might have been better for me if they focused on one at a time for a segment of the show, to introduce the characters and relationships in each timeline.  I thought it was interesting though that they used the hailstorm to seemingly signify the same day.    I'll probably keep watching it.

  10. Just watched the second interview. I agree they revealed a lot that wasn't on the show. I think it showed the audience and even to each other where they were all coming from. It was very interesting to me.

However,  I think Kendell isn't completely correct that her position didn't have anything to do with her being a model.  Yes, she did still have to work at it to be taken seriously, but the average 14 year old girl would not have had the means to do what she did.   She already had her mom as a manager, already had name recognition, and  had the money to go wherever  she had to for auditions or photo shoots or whatever.   It would have been harder for her to be signed if she was an average girl from the middle of nowhere than it was for her.  Though I do think she's done a wonderful job of making a career for herself separate from the show.

And maybe Chayce was originally supposed to sing with Sheryl Crow..

Arthur Gunn was supposed to sing with Sheryl Crow. The official Instagram even had a picture of them together earlier in the day.  They haven't said what happened.

Steven Molaro said something very similar after last years finale.

“Sheldon the adult narrator, who is older now and has children of his own, [is] seeing his parents in a different light for the first time. That’s why this narrator is choosing to tell us some of these stories, in part because he’s figuring it out now. “Oh, I had an idea about who my dad was, and now that I look back and I’m the age that he was then…” You start to have a different perspective on things.”

Thank you, that's very interesting. I hadn't seen this before.   So, it sounds like the narrator Sheldon is actually much older than BBT Sheldon, so he has a different perspective.  Probably seeing that things were not all bad.

  13. One way they can reconcile how George was portrayed by BBT Sheldon's description and how he's portrayed on YS is because the adult Sheldon that is narrating  YS is older than the BBT Sheldon.  We know this because the YS adult Sheldon has said that he and Amy had a baby, and other things that make it seem like he's several years in the future after BBT ended.  An older person reminiscing about his childhood might be more sympathetic and understanding about what happened with his father than the BBT version of Sheldon.    In the ending of last night's show, adult Sheldon seemed very sentimental about his father, which makes me think that they might be going in that direction.

Enjoyed the premiere. Really enjoying everyone's guesses and most of them make sense. My crazy guess, based on clues, for the Tree is Darlene Love. She's mostly known at a certain time of year (Christmas on Letterman). The Tree seems like a seasoned professional and one of the visual clues made me think she may be a bit older.

I think it's her too, most of the clues fit.  Especially the emphasis on Christmas.  I think it sounds like it could be her too.

After watching the smackdown, I think Ladybug is Kelly Osborne. Famous family, limelight, the ham (from the episode where Sharon threw a ham at the neighbors)...And she's at that level where reality tv would be fine. She's a singer, too.

I think so too. The bat is because of Ozzy biting the head off a bat.  It sounds like her too.

  15. I kind of wonder if Adriana's friend was lying about talking to Kaden it was because Adriana was still talking to Kaden but she didn't want her boyfriend to know about it so her friend was covering for her. The whole thing was very strange.

Scott had already calmed down considerably by the time he and Kourtney had their last attempt at making their relationship work. He gave up a lot of his partying ways, he kind of refocused his attention after losing both his parents just months apart. Scott has been making positive strides for a long time but I think the reason it didn't work with Kourtney is because she couldn't get over the person he used to be and became controlling to an extent.  He'd have a drink, he 'd have a late night with friends or go to a club and while he wasn't coming home belligerently drunk, or laying in bed all day and ignoring the kids because he was hungover, for Kourtney, it was seeing him engage in those familiar activities that made her paranoid and assumed that it was a gateway for things to spiral out of control like it would in the past. The show also focused on Scott's past ways as related to addiction but it seems that it was more out of him being young, cocky and stupid.

I think you're right, it does seem like she pushed him away.  I think he started to backslide after his parents died, but Kourtney didn't seem very supportive of him. I remember right after Scott's parents died, they were talking about moving to the Hamptons, and he was very upset because he said she never wanted to move to NY when his parents were still there but she wouldn't listen,    I could understand why someone with additiction would backslide, and then he seemed very depressed after that and especially after Kourtney broke it off with him.  But you're probably right that the minute he began to backslide she pushed him away.

  17. I know the show is probably always fake, and it is probably always filmed ahead, but it made it seem even faker to have this air this soon, it would have been more realistic if it aired after Chrismas.  I also don't like how Kim freaks out if her mother or her sisters decorate similarly, what's the difference if they have the same decorations.

How did they have no money? Didn't Saint Robert pay child support? He was pretty wealthy. She should have gotten a nice check every month for the 4  K kids.

Kendalls talking head at the end... her make up?  She's gone Kardashian.

Probably, but if they were living in Hollywood,  the house would have been very expensive, and I would think Caitlyn would be paying child support for the Jenner kids.  And it sounds like they were just starting the public speaking business.   They probably had money but not enough for where they were trying to live.

  19. Chael cutting the computer wire was wrong on so many levels, not only was it dangerous to him and the others, someone could have been electrocuted or burned, and it could have also damaged the computer itself, and they could have lost what they were working on too. I don't see how he could have thought that would have helped or been acceptable because it was so obvious that's what happened.  Glad he was fired, he probably would have been in a regular job for that too.

  20. I don't agree that Carson using Lisa instead of George would have helped.  I think more women would relate to George and his story than Lisa, and he is much more well known also.  I think the problem was they didn't use George long enough. The only bump up they saw was when George was on.  Though I also think the other major problem was the product itself, it just didn't look as fun as the slider,  or maybe they didn't show enough about how to  use it.  Though actually, if used correctly, I would probably be more likely to use it.

  21. The whole thing with disguises was never going to really work because they had the camera crews with them.   Even if the paps didn't know it was them right away they had to know something was up. And on the bus they must have had to tell the people they were being filmed, maybe even what show it was for.
