I agree, I wouldn't wish Laurel on anyone on the show right now. Ray, despite being crazy eyes, is far too nice and well mannered for her. She lies, black mails and twists arms of witnesses while they are lying on hospital beds.The only suitable match for Laurel on the show was Sebastian Blood who was a lying manipulative person like Laurel and had some serious issues with his family members like Laurel had with hers. In the end, even he turned out to be far more heroic than Buckle Canary so I guess even he was too good for her.

I would be forever bitter if Quentin forgives Laurel for hiding Sara's death and then burying her in a pine box.

Would it be asking too much to Arrow people to actually invest in a set of a lab or at least make Ray’s office look more lab type. Right now, it looks like there are some tools and wires haphazardly strewn around a glass top table. If Dr. Ray Palmer is really that kick ass science wonder boy - particle physicist and electrical engineer rolled in one - then he should have an appropriately equipped lab with proper safety measures. This glass office is a disaster waiting to happen. ... if Felicity meets an accident in that office, that will be another reason for fans of the show to hate him. I am bitter about this kind of disrespect for science.

Even losing Oliver was a vastly different experience for Laurel than it will be for Felicity. Laurel lost Oliver to an accident and he cheated on her and ran away with her sister while he had that accident. Felicity's Oliver was a majestic, noble warrior - a hero - who went to fight to save his sister and innocent civilians of Starling City who were threatened by League. Laurel's Ollie lied to her before he left on Gambit, Felicity's Oliver told her the most intimate truth ... that he loves her before he left. Even when they were together in the past, Ollie constantly cheated on Laurel with multiple girls. In the present day, even though he was not officially with Felicity, he cannot imagine being with anyone else but Felicity and lived like a monk. There is absolutely no comparison. I will only buy it if Laurel tries to empathize with her by opening up to Felicity about most recent loss, the death of her sister and how she is coming to terms with it and may be take her to a boxing class or something to let it out. That I can buy but no bonding over their shared experience of losing an object of affection.

OMG! I couldn't agree more about Mary being the Laurel Lance of the show. I just fail to understand why all these men - including Theo James as the handsome Turkish ambassador in season 1 - would fall for her. She was snooty and narcissist and I never really could understand why any one would love her or be loyal to her except for the fact that it was written in the script - just like Laurel Lance. Leverage was one of the best shows and their series finale was oh so satisfying.

If the show delivers Felicity and her calm rage like she is Moira 2.0 and if they do it well, I may forgive them for killing the original HBIC Moira Queen. I may even look the other way when they are showing buckle canary buckling or unbuckling her outfit.

Felicity helped Laurel when she was extremely busy with helping Diggle and juggling her work and boss at Palmer Tech/Queen Consolidated and she said it herself that she and Laurel are not even friends. So yes, she will protect Thea because that is who she is. Add to that the fact that the man she loved died protecting his sister, she will go all out because Thea is a link, a tenuous one but still a link, that connects Felicity to Oliver, so she will do everything in her power to protect Thea, just like Oliver would've done.

Well, the synopsis did not just cover three episodes after Oliver's death, it went all the way to 3x14 and the only thing I am looking forward to is Thea/ Felicity interaction. I would love it to pieces if Felicity goes all Mafia wife (we have seen a hint of it in 2x18 when she gave her blessing to Oliver to do whatever it takes to best Slade) because that was glorious and EBR can really do it well.

I agree. Both Grant Gustin and Emiliy Bett Rickards are not CW pretty. Rick Cosnet, Willa Holland, Katie Cassidy and Stephen Amell are standard CW pretty. EBR and Grant Gustin, on the other hand, are good looking people with a lot of personality which somehow coincides with the characters they are playing which elevates their performances and their public personas which endears them to their fans. CW hit jackpot with both Grant Gustin and EBR. They just make their respective shows ten times more fun to watch. PS: I too find EBR very good looking most of the time and I do agree with you on the length of that blue dress she wore in 3x07 on her date with Ray. A very tall person can carry a dress that length but a shorter person like EBR looks better in dresses above knee length or full length dresses. That one was somewhere in the middle.

So true. I mean what is the point of two plus years of character growth if you are taking us back to the start? Plus I really like season 3 Oliver (barring his denial to have a relationship with Felicity, he has been so so good) so I want him to continue with that and get even better.
