    This was crazy! 

    I know in a lot of cases, doctors experimented on themselves or used genetic material from others with ethics being a gray area at best since there were no laws (Henrietta Lacks), but for the doctors who used their own semen on their patients without thinking of the consequences—siblings potentially marrying being so close geographically, etc. is crazy.  The one doctor just laughed...

    But this guy, wow!  Truly sick.  I’m not so sure nothing happened to the girls he adopted given all the awful things he did to his other children and patients.

    Except it’s not about the emoji.  Kathryn probably didn’t have bad intentions because she’s just clueless and yeah, she doesn’t have to ever think about such things, but given the context of the conversation, it was not wise and I’m really trying hard to keep it to the episode.  

    I’m also good with any and every monument to slavery and the confederacy coming down and I’ll leave it at that.

    S01.E04: Roaring Emotions

    Jen is ridiculous, but at least she brings some energy to the show.

    Mary is still off.  The way she talked to the people setting up her weird luncheon was terrible.  What was that about death and grapes? Noooo!  Her way of being disconnected and not thinking about what she’s saying is still off-putting.  The fact that it seems she cares not if what she says hurts someone or it has to be made clear to her.

    Still not feeling Meredith and Lisa.  They are both too posey.  Meredith was practically sauntering at the gallery. Are their shoulders always cold by the way they wear their coats and jackets?  I agree with Whitney that Lisa is arrogant.

    Murder On Middle Beach

    Wow, this family...I feel bad for Madison and his sister.  Conway and the father talk about how the sister behaved, but no one is taking responsibility for her abuse.  Conway has a sad story, but I want to tell her to eff all the way off.  She left me a little cold.  Sad that there’s reasonable doubt because there are so many potential suspects.

    I saw it as that and also more of an insult or callback to when she met with him and pointed out how he’s able to fool and charm people, that he found himself so clever, but ruined his own case by being stupid enough to not get rid of the hammer.  He’s coming for Haley’s legal skills but her ran out of charm.
