  1. I think they were all acting for Sandra's benefit at tc, even Tai, but he thought the other name being thrown out was Ozzie. After the vote, he had to know they had thrown his name out to Sandra and Varner. I wonder how that might affect him. He is quite paranoid, (aren't they all?).
  2. This taken off as it is an historical spoiler. Sorry!
  3. I think I experienced this type of physical "hitting the wall" a year ago when I went hiking in the Grand Tetons. I was not in very good shape, but it is just walking, right? Wrong. I went too far too high. I ended up doing 17 miles, some of it at 12,000 feet. I am a woman in my 60's, and should have known better. I really needed to get down that mountain before dark, and luckily for me, my son was there to practically drag me. I was crying uncontrollably at times. It was truly awful, and frightening. My body had simply had enough, and refused to obey me! But the funny thing is that the next day, I felt great! I was so proud of myself for surviving that. We went white water rafting, something that I had white-knuckled in the middle of the raft previously. That day it felt great! It was so much easier than that hike, that I enjoyed it without a trace of fear. Maybe that is why people that do Survivor are eager to try again despite, or because of, the adversity. It feels great to come out the other end. You feel like you can do anything.
  4. I didn't see Stephen crying in front of others. You are never alone on Survivor, so the camera crew doesn't count. When I was teaching, I would go home and literally scream, but I never did so in class, or in front of anyone. I am not a weak person, but you have to let it out sometime.
  5. So, they didn't trust each other enough to split the vote last week, and this week, they do, and suffer the fate they only feared last week. Haha.
  6. I am so tired of Joe's passive game play. Why didn't HE go to the three girls, along with his close ally Wiggles, to vote off Stephen? He needs to show more gameplay, especially as he should want Stephen out after realizing that Fish was gunning for him last week. Not to mention that Stephen now has an advantage. Everyone should have been targeting Stephen!
  7. If you split the vote, someone wanting to blindside a member of their own alliance can do so more easily by bringing in the underdogs, who would be grateful to go along with your plan. So Joe could get the girls to help him and Savage take out Stephen, for example. (Joe's failure to do something like this was probably what Wentworth meant by his failure to grow a pair.)
  8. I think they didn't trust each other enough to split the vote. It would have been too easy for the girls to talk some people into flipping and taking out one of the Fantastic Four. It happened anyway! Great episode. Now, to quote Ciera, lets start playing. Pagonging is so boring.
  9. I thought the word for Vytas was smarmy, but I have seen a lot of swarmy out there. Swarmy as in gnats or yellowjackets, or smarmy as in oily, nasty goo? Either way, not so good for Vytas.
  10. Did anyone notice Rodney breaking the 4th wall? He was sitting by the fire, staring off into space, then his eyes shifted and he looked straight into the camera. It was very brief, but for some reason, it gave me the shivers.
  11. I think the term is "Will", as in, "he, or she, is a Will".
  12. I always thought that Athel, or Ethel, was a royal prefix. A male of the royal line is an atheling. I was surprised that no one explained why Athelstan had a royal name, unless he was the illegitimate son of a royal house. With Egbert so willing to accept Alfred into the line of succession, wouldn't it fit if Athelstan was actually Egbert's son? One he obviously prefers to the legitimate Ethelwulf? I think that would be an interesting twist.
  13. Based on her gameplay and gracious behavior after being snuffed, I vote for Tasha.
  14. This season is easy. Tony is an Ox. Trish is his Bear. Woo is the Bunny, and Kass is the Goat. Spencer is Toast, unless he wins immunity, over and over.
