I think Tim nearly blew Bill's mind when he said that yes, the fashion industry would rather walk away from billions of dollars than make attractive clothes for fat people. The vast majority are a bunch of elitist snobs who think their shit smells like Chanel No 5. It's one of the more subvert ways fat people are shamed in every day life.
And Bill, even "thin" fat people are used to model plus-sized clothes - actually something that I don't mind that much. I just want to know what the clothes look like, generally. In fact, if a brand wants to use a size 000 model, fine! Just sell that same dress in a size 18 is all I'm asking. Make us some fairly comfortable, moderately priced, not-even-really-that-fashionable clothes without cold shoulder cut-outs, sharkbite hems or giant gaudy flower prints.
