  1. I partially agree with that, however, I might have tweaked it slightly by saying: Tinsley is over 40. It's hard to find a guy in New York City at that age. It would be arguably easier if she wasn't there. The ratio of single men to single women in New York City is very uneven. No matter the age.
  2. Since you brought her up, Carolyn Bessette's reputation as a woman who easily flew off the handle has been rumored for years. Not just by Michael Bergin. Which, for me, begs the question, why is Carole attracted to these messy, sometimes unhinged women as good friends? Does like attract like? I don't know much about her Most Visible (Best?) Friend of the Moment, Cassandra Grey, other than after her husband died, she started dating DJ Samantha Ronson. Who had previously spent a couple years having drunken lover's quarrels in the streets with her then-girlfriend, loco Lindsey Lohan. ? Let that sink in for a moment.
  3. Yass! Great post. In addition, Carole pretending she just recently discovered how awful Bethenny can be, is laughable. She was 100% complicit, until she wasn't.
  4. She could have. And I wish she would have. Sonja was looking like a regal Wilma Flintstone before she let that out.
  5. Thanks, Quinn. I wanted to make sure I was remembering correctly. In that context, I don't think it's so terrible. Unnecessary to say out loud? Sure. But it's not like Beth said something like: "You're nothing because you've never had a job baby." Who would SAY something like that? Hmmmm? ?
  6. Would someone please refresh my memory about which episode and what context Bethenny said to Carole that she had no kids, no husband, no career?
  7. I have to laugh because Cassandra Grey is in a relationship with Samantha Ronson, who is far from the definition of a woman with real class in the real upper echelon of society. I realize that l'm making Cassandra guilty by association but, there you have it. Seems like every one has a mugshot these days. Sam's for DUI: It's possible Carole didn't invite Bethenny into the house because she was embarrassed of what was inside, (in my imagination - ashtrays overflowing with cigarette butts, half empty beer bottles and a skipping record on a turntable LOL). That scenario is just as plausible as Carole not inviting Bethenny in because she was embarrassed of Bethenny.
  8. Me, neither. And that's what Bethenny meant about putting current careers up against each other. Now, if the silly argument would have been: "Who had the better resume 20 years ago?", Carole would have won that round.
  9. Co-sign. And it also reminded me of a dick move tonight by Ramona. Was it really important to go into such detail about drunk Luann laying her head in her friend's lap and putting her legs up in the air and being thrown out of parties? This, in addition to what Ramona said about Victoria many years ago, would make it impossible for me to be her friend again if I were Lu. But like you said, these "ladies" drag each other hard and then come back for more. Yhat Bravo paycheck is one helluva drug.
  10. I thought it was her eye makeup that was making her eyes look slighly crossed tonight. But now I think she rolls them so much that they're actually going wonk. Just like mama always said, keep making an ugly face and it's going to freeze that way. ?
  11. Same. I've never much liked either one of them. Not having a dog in this race is interesting and often satisfying but also confusing. See, I loathed Bethenny first and most, but I'm finding myself mildly sympathetic to her recently because of Carole's loathsomeness. I wish Carole would have just left with her dignity intact but nooooo. She had to tweet and make me feel sorry for Bitchenny. CURSE YOU, Radziwill!
  12. Imo, she's not age-shaming, here. She's pointing out that she wants to compare resumes at this current time. Yes, they both are HWs but beyond that, Carole isn't currently working. There's no comparison between Bethenny's businesses and Carole's...donut deliveries?
  13. I was kind of sad to hear she was going but I'm not anymore. Either toeless sequined socks or just really hideous mesh shoe-boots. Whichever - fug. Even if Carole was my fave, I'd still hate her reunion look - head to toe. Including her reading glasses.
  14. Thanks, @Mozelle. I don't know if I'd lost interest by that part of the season but the RSG skirmish just isn't registering in my brain. What I think I do understand, though, is that he really had very little to do with the end of B & C's friendship. Sounds like they were done way before the spped dating event.
  15. Before part two of the reunion begins, can anyone do a quick recap about what the disagreement is between Bethenny and Carol pertaining to Red Scarf guy? Thanks. Thanks a million times. On or off camera, I will be so appreciative for your reply. Truly and forever grateful.
  16. I watched that episode today, too. Lu and Nicole looking at dildos in the storefront. And then as they turned away from the dildo display window to head down to the dance club, dorky Nicole in her odd head wrap says, "Let's rock! It was a strange, wonderful, awkward moment. Only made more awkward once they were in the club and were actually trying to rock. Woot woot yi! yi! yi! yi! YEAH! Rock on! Fist pump, peace sign. Also, I noticed that Lu was wearing bathrobe as fashion statement before it became a trend.
  17. LOL. And now, I will need to reserve a copy of What Remains at my library. I asked, here, the other day if anyone remembered the shoplifting part because that is hazy to me. But the bit about the cats, I don't remember that at all. I'll read it again and pay attention this time as a final adieu/arrivederci/hasta la vista in her honor.
  18. IMO, she kind of did with her nasty re-tweets so soon after Dennis's death. Stabbed her, poured salt in the wound, and then acted proud about doing so. If you see it differently, I'm not sure I can HELP YOU UNDERSTAND! because that's the way I strongly feel and you don't. And that's cool. ✌
  19. Like your Google mission, I almost re-read What Remains, because I initially read it when Carole was a new HW and I didn't have any strong feelings for her one way or the other. But now that I see her true colors, I think back to the bits and pieces that are hazy in my mind - like her grandmother teaching and encouraging her and her young cousins to shoplift. How she said that there wasn't a lot of passion in her marriage, not even that much in the time prior to the marriage. They just did it because it seemed like the right thing to do. Or something like that. Just a lot of things that don't add up or stick out now, that would explain or back-up why she is the way she is. I don't know if I ever will read it again. Like you, I am intrigued. But I just don't know if I care that much anymore.
  20. Not just here. But you are correct. No official statement anywhere. Sometimes though, where there's smoke there's fire. Jill, Kelly, Heather, Kristen and now Carole. Who am I missing? All at big time odds with Bethenny, all are gone. The tell for me though, is how Carole is now lashing out. Why voluntarily leave a job that you claim is toxic and bad for you, that challenges your morals or however she phrased it and then...get on this low, low road. Low, angry road to nowhere. IMO, had she left for the reason she stated, she would happily go on her way - after initially telling Bethenny that her comment that she was let go, was a lie. Which she did, but then she keeps doubling down. And after is Dennis's death it's a really bad look. Yes, her firing is all speculation but I'm leaning in that direction, and I'd be leaning that way even if I were a fan.
  21. I'm not so sure. We've seen over the seasons, people who argue with Bethenny are a dime a dozen. When is Bethenny and an opponent, not been a talked-about element? Carole was just the latest. The problem is, she was bringing nothing else to the table. And then, her animosity toward King Andy, did her no favors.
  22. Carole's hate for Bethenny, I suspect is because, either directly or indirectly, Bethenny had something to do with Carole no longer being employed by Bravo. I'm not saying Bethenny had her fired, although maybe she did. But if Carole left on her own volition, it sounds to me she did so because Bethenny is "a lot". Either way, Bethenny is the catalyst, in Carole's mind, for why she's not pulling in that quarter million dollar paycheck each season. I think I would probably feel the same way about someone whom I felt was making my job miserable and/or got me fired. I got fired once, and it stung for a couple years. And I wasn't making $200k+. That said, Carole's hate for Bethenny is getting the best of her. It looks like it's eating her from the inside out.
  23. I don't think he has a girlfriend anymore. What woman in her right mind would be okay with him posting those pictures of Carole on his Instagram? She'd either have to be blind or stupid. With no friends or family. Or perpetually stoned. Hmmm. Maybe he does have a girlfriend.
  24. Well, last summer I stood in a long line of people, just dying (in the 90 degree heat) to try an iconic corn dog on a stick, so.... Our fancy donut place charges three bucks for a donut, which I think is highway robbery. However, they are made to order. It's an assembly line, like Subway. You get to choose your type of donut - yeast raised, cake, cruller, etc. Then you choose your frosting or glaze. And then pick from dozens of drizzles and toppings. Mine was a cake donut with milk chocolate frosting, drizzled with marshmallow glaze and topped with crushed graham cracker. S'more-ish! It was delicious, but as Carole would say, it was a lot. Ate half for breakfast and the other half for dessert. And my sugar fix was fulfilled for a week. No lie.
