Exactly, that's her plan. I'm okay with that because I will miss our lil ball of contradiction when all is said and done. If Carole reads any of the number of HW forums out there, she wouldn't even care that so many are calling her out. Look how much she's enjoying Twitter right now. For her, it's about the page views on forums and followers on Twitter. Any attention is good attention. When people stop talking about her it will be a sad day for Carole. And for us. We wouldn't be racking up her page numbers, here, if we didn't enjoy the Fuss 'n' Discuss.

I agree. I don't want Beth back. If we thought she was damaged before, I really don't want to see the fallout from this latest tragedy. 'Twould be a lot. But yeah, I'd pick Heather at this point over Bethenny. And hell has officially frozen over!

That's because you seem to be a nice person. If it makes you feel any better - Bethenny, Carole, all of them - thrive on it all. The lovers, the haters. Something about them (or anyone who would sign up to expose their lives to reality television) requires some deep pit of need for attention. Good or bad.

I'm with you there. There's a line, clearly, we aren't willing to cross. But as you can see, that's not the way it is for everyone. In my opinion, it's all relative. Not nice, but all relative. I agree. They need to start skewing the ages slightly younger. And a name change would be nice. Not a one of them is a Real Housewife. Some of them, never were. This made me laugh. I don't think anyone believes Carole formed a friendship with Cassandra 10 years ago because she knew the husband would be a producer and eventually die so that Carole could take advantage of his widow. LOL Let's face it, Carole isn't that bright. And the psychic that spoke to Carolyn from beyond the grave was a sham who wasn't going to provide any insight about Brad's impending death. But like you, I think she'd hoped, throughout their friendship, that Brad the mega producer would find the Widow's Guide brilliant enough to option. But for some reason he didn't. Perhaps he recognized that it sucked? So Brad dies. I can't blame Carole for hoping that his widow will NOW help her get Widow's Guide optioned. They're both widows. If you think about it, it's actually the perfect project.

I kind of understand why she couldn't/wouldn't offer comfort to Bethenny considering the ashes of their friendship. But I'll never understand why she took to Twitter so soon to drag her. Maybe we should have paid more attention when Carole told us herself that she's just not a hugger. Physically or emotionally.

There is a picture I saw a long time ago of Anthony and Carole on the boat the day they did the memorial at sea for John and Carolyn that feels like it jibes with what you read. Carole and Anthony are sitting far apart and just looking beaten. I'm not saying they didn't lean on each other through this time, but they looked worlds apart in that picture and it just struck me as terribly, terribly sad. Anthony died two weeks later. Such a tragic time for all concerned. Tell me when you're ready to read it, and I'll read it, too. Let's start a book club thread this fall. ?

I watched that bit three times last night. Carole saying it, then doubling down and asking if he was afraid of Bethenny, too. So delicious. Carole is of the mindset that you must defend your friend's lovers publically whether you believe they deserve to be defended or not. She's also of the mindset that you must bash your friend's exes publically when your friend is bound by law not to.

I think Luann said it too. And I seem to remember that when Luann said it, the context made it seem cruel. That said, I am more convinced than ever that Carole threw that out last night at the reunion about how she would have had a child if Anthony had lived as self-serving and pity mongering.

I think what we are seeing at the reunion is Dorinda's baseline behavior. Combative is her normal. You can tell she's had a drink or a line of coke when her words are slurring and her arms and spittle start flying.
