I have to say that the actor playing Spencer has improved over the past few weeks. He has made Spencer into an obnoxious narcissist, and everyone's goodness and value is based on how their actions affect him (i.e. he's really upset with Nikolas because he lied to him, treating him like everyone else; Laura's good because she's always been good to him). But I am starting to buy that he actually cares about Trina especially since she's had the issue with Portia (he obviously identifies with her to an extent). I definitely want him to get some serious comeuppance, but I want to see him and Trina get together (after some sweating and groveling). Also, I do see some chem between Spencer and Britt. I don't think that I want the story to go there; but I'm just saying that I've noticed it. Re: Milquetoast Millow and Chase This is a very classic soap trope. Triangle ending with the loser suffering from an illness/injury resulting in the centerpoint staying with them out of guilt/pity. This story isn't working for me because Milquetoast Millow have no chemistry and Willow has been acting like Chase is just an inconvenience getting in the way of what she truly wants. Usually the girl seems to at least care a little about the loser. Or, the loser isn't as sympathetic a character as Chase.

I just hope that Chase gets to punch Michael in the gut the way Michael got to punch Chase for NOT CHEATING with Sasha.

Not too happy with where this Milquetoast Millow reveal is going. I could believe that Chase would freak out on them and possibly commit a crime of passion (kill 'em both!); but cold-blooded revenge just seems completely out of character for him. I do think that now would be a good time to start a more earnest chem test between him and Brook Lynn. Maybe they can both find out each other's secrets and constantly having their heads together. (Then I would be more sure about whether their great friendship chemistry could become romantic). This is the first time that I actually believe that Spencer genuinely cares about Trina. I mean I knew that he was attracted gto her an trying to impress her, but we got to see a different side of him and their relationship. It's been a long time since I've been invested in a teen relationship, but I think that they could be something special.

No version of Joss should have an easy relationship with Carly. Good girl Joss should be morally outraged at Carly and the way that she has chosen to live her life; and hellraiser Joss would be bringing a neverending stream of drama and trouble into her life. This version of the character just doesn't work for me. And I think that the actress could probably pull off a more interesting version of the character.

I am very much entertained by Imani's shameless flirting with Nate, Elena's annoyance, and Nate's attempts not to preen at the attention (serves her right after being Ms. Waffles).

Of course a narcissist like Jocelyn can't stand not being the center of attention. She's got to find a way to make this all about her. I'm sure she's going to convince herself that Spencer is using Trina to make her jealous or something. And Spencer is pulling this lying foolishness on the wrong lady. I can't wait to see Trina's reaction when everything comes out.

My watching of the show has been pretty irregular. Has Sami made any reference to Nicole's interference in Allie's initial return story (pregnancy etc.) as a motivation for her revenge (even privately)? It was pretty obvious to me that a big part of Nicole's motivation in that situation was sticking it to Sami. I'd be able to enjoy this story much more if Samie wasn't just hiding behind protecting Eric from Nicole. I really enjoy vindictive Sami when she's acting out of vengeance or righteous anger than simple pettiness.

New Ship Alert: Billy and Tara. Two selfish, dupliciotus characters who'd make each other absolutely miserable.

That movie was filmed before he came on DOOL as Eric. I believe that GV found out that he got the role of Eric while filming of the movie. I remember AS saying that it was a good thing they shot the movie before the show because it would've been really awkward had it been the reverse.

I've liked him in most of his scenes with Trina, but yesterday he seemed too focused on his mission with Ava and using Trina for information on rather than being genuinely interested in her. These types of stories only work if you can actually buy that the duplicitous character is genuinely interested in the dupe prior to the reveal.
