  1. Donnie just looks like a cop, & so does this guy, but the definitely do bear a resemblance. If you'd told me 2 years ago that a show featuring J-Lo & Ray Liotta would be as good as this show is, & that those 2 polar opposites would have the kind of chemistry that they do, I'd never have believed you, but here we are, & it's all true. She's just so pretty, like strikingly beautiful, & he's so hard-looking & acting (love him, though), I wouldn't have thought they'd work, but they're totally believable as BFF.
  2. ...as it should be! May I suggest that you change your next one to whatever that was Lulu wore to the nurse's ball (I know ER is pregnant IRL, & they didn't write it in, but it looked like she should be sitting on top of a cake, or actually, that dress was big enough that she could actually BE the cake!). On "Twin Peaks" topic, my husband is a bit younger than I am, & he'd never seen the original, which I told him that he had to do before we could watch the reboot. We pushed it off a bit too long, but we started it last week. OMG, Bob is scarier than I remember. We actually just finished the first season, & there were plotlines that I'm not sure if I forgot, or never knew, most notably, the Josie/Hank deal.
  3. I'm guessing if they can't pay their debts, they'll do another season of a reality show (if anyone wants them) to make a quick buck. Look for a public Dean cheating scandal in 3...2...1...
  4. Agreed with this. However, really just commenting because @jsbt, your avatar, just what the Fluke?? ;-)
  5. My 2-year-old told me a 20-minute story about a booger yesterday, not even kidding. More interesting than ZenCole.
  6. Kanye's music isn't my style, either, but I agree that art is subjective, so I can still respect that he's an artist who is very successful in his field. My first exposure to him was actually on "Punk'd", probably around 2004, when he was pretty new (I hadn't heard of him), & he was a complete & total douchebag, although, I can't really remember the punk. Honestly, I couldn't believe how he acted, & was embarrassed for his friends & family. I know that "Punk'd" had extreme situations, but some people were amazing & handled themselves really well, IE Justin Timberlake when the IRS seized everything, including his dog, & Omarion, who showed amazing restraint & just handled an awful situation really well, but Kanye showed his true colors. My next exposure to him was either the AMAs or the Grammys, when Gretchen Wilson beat him for new artist of the year, & he threw a fit & said that he deserved it over her, typical Kanye rant. It was just ridiculous. My next exposure to him was "Golddigger", so he redeemed some of his bad behavior, because that song rocked, but I'll always remember him from "Punk'd", because that's who he really is in my book.
  7. You're not wrong, @iwasish. I have a thought, & I pray that this comes out politically-correct, as in no way do I mean to offend anyone at all. I actually started noticing changes in Kendall around the time of Caitlyn's transition. She seemed to work more, spend less time with the family, & complain a lot more than she did before (off the top of my head, I don't recall her complaining much before). Again, I hope this is PC & non-offensive, but I think a lot of Kendall's personality shift comes from the way that Caitlyn handled her transition, denying for ages, then announcing to Diane Sawyer & the world that she was transitioning into a woman, when it seemed like she hadn't spent much time preparing her still-young children for the major changes. Kylie & Kendall were & are still pretty young, & they went from a nuclear family, to a divorced family, to a family where there is a female-Mom & a female-Dad, all in a very short amount of time - about a year, maybe?? - all in the public spotlight/glare. I'm all for being your authentic-self, & good for Caitlyn for being hers, but as much as you can support people being themselves, when it's your parent who's transitioning, I can see that being pretty rough on a young person, when the parent handles it the way Caitlyn did. It seemed to me like Caitlyn was far more worried about telling the world that she was transitioning than she was about telling her daughters, who really deserved to have a chance to deal with it in their own way before she shared it with the world (I say that as a parent, who would do what my children needed me to do if I was making a major life-change like Caitlyn did). What I'm saying, basically, is that Caitlyn didn't seem to give the girls much notice about her transition, & from the way it seems, they basically found out close to the same time that we did, so I could see why Kendall is kinda pissed at the world & not wanting the media-intrusion, she's actually just pissed at her dad, in my opinion, & acting out. To me, the root of her pretty sudden moodiness is that I feel like she felt sort of dismissed in Caitlyn's transition, so she's acting out to get attention. I hope that I articulated that correctly, & again, I don't mean to insult anyone, I actually almost didn't post, because I really don't always know or use the correct verbiage, & I truly don't want to offend anyone in the LGBT community or anyone else. I'm like Sarah from "Survivor"! Honestly, I have to say, I've learned far more about the transgender-community from Caitlyn & the K-clan than I knew before, so even though I make fun of them as much as anyone, I have actually learned useful information from them.
  8. I honestly had 4 dropped-jaw moments in this 2-part episode. 1. Nava, not only did he lead to Bianchi's death, but he wasn't a mob-mole like I'd been suspecting. I can't believe Bianchi went out like that, but I loved it. 2. Woz pulling the trigger & assisting Julia in her suicide. I didn't see her coming, & certainly didn't see Woz assisting (I'm stopping short of placing the blame on him). 3. The whole Stahl kidnaps Harley plot, including her basically cutting her own wrist, then stumbling outside & passing out. Great call on IA guy, who kinda reminds me of Donnie Wahlberg, a huge compliment to IA guy, FYI, as the one who will likely save her. 4. Adrian shoots Woz! I just did not at all see that coming. I literally covered my mouth so I didn't wake up my sleeping children. Just wow. This show knows how to do a finale. Please forgive my ignorance, as I was trying to watch while my afore-mentioned children were very loudly fighting sleep in their beds, but why was Donnie Wahlbergs twin/the IA guy, basically telling Harley that she needed to have fibers from Nava's suit on Bianchi's body before the ME looked at him the next morning? Was he helping her or setting her up? Also, didn't Nava just say he shoved Bianchi? Why would his suit fibers have to be all over Bianchi?
  9. I've thought that before, too. I honestly think that Kendall is absolutely gorgeous, she rivals pre-surgery Kim in the looks department, which is a huge compliment from me, as I used to think Kim was one of the most naturally beautiful women I'd ever seen - now, not so much. Anyway, while Kendall is stunning, I also think that the fact that she seems to be the most grounded & just the nicest of the whole family makes me think she's prettier than all of them.
  10. Side-pieces totally count! I really did mean David/Ariel, as they had a May-only fling, thanks to the crabs, but I guess technically, Donna/David also broke up in May, due to the D/A fling in the limo, so I should have added them as well. May was not a good month for Young Silver, as Brando would say.
  11. On TV shows, it's amazing how many breakups happen in May, & how many hookups start in September. Look at all of the May hookups/last flings that I can think of off of the top of my head for our fair show: 1. Dylan/Brenda 2. David/Ariel 3. Kelly/Dylan 4. David/Claire 5. Kelly/Brandon 6. Susan/Brandon 7. Kelly/Colin/Val 8. Donna/Joe 9. Claire/Steve That's all I can think of, as far as endings in May. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting, but those are the highlights for me.
  12. For me, the difference is all about charm & personality, & in my opinion, Brad has neither of those, or possibly, not a good personality & minimal charm. Michaela could be hot-headed, but she also was hilarious at times. Brad could be hot-headed, and from what we've seen, not a lot of good in his personality. Michaela reacted badly a few times, but she also made tribal council a few times, with her eating & drinking (I could see how it would rub some people the wrong way, but I loved her). I personally saw none of that with Brad. If Brad really is a nice guy, he should sue the producers of "Survivor" - he's a lawyer, you know - for making him looking like a giant ass in both of his seasons. The other important thing is that Michaelsa is still really young. She will grow up, & some of her immaturity & hot-headedness will go away, & then, she'll probably be an even better player. Michaela will undoubtedly be back, Jeff said he loved her, she's a good character, she's a good competitor, she makes for great tv & she got over being voted out & wasn't bitter on the jury. She's everything I want in a "Survivor" competitor.
  13. In fairness to Val, she wasn't actually trying to hook up with him, she was trying to make him uncomfortable on behalf of Kelly (whom I'm sure would do the exact same thing if the roles were reversed & Val was the Kelly in that situation). Kelly was standing by her slut tile, & Val came out & made a comment about how that must've been a different Kelly, but Kelly confirmed that it was her, & told her the story about No Blanket Ross. They went back inside & Val & Ross were standing beside each other, & he complimented her on her charitable work (she wanted everyone to think she was Mother Theresa, which was odd, because she literally knew no one at the reunion outside of our gang). She told him that her charitable nature stemmed from a childhood trauma, then recounted the No Blanket/Kelly first time, obviously making herself Kelly. No Blanket glanced over at Kelly, who was sitting at a table, alone, grabbed his wife & took off. Kelly tipped her wine glass to Val, & later, they broke the tile together. It was probably the best Kelly/Val episode of the entire series. I wish they'd done more frenemies stuff, I much preferred that type of relationship.
  14. Everyone has captured my feelings very well, but I had 2 observations that haven't been touched-on very much. 1. Is Brad seriously a lawyer? Like, he passed the bar & everything? That was one of the worst tribal council performances I've ever seen. Troyzan, who was a non-entity, did a billion times better than him. I hope none of his clients are facing the death penalty (I don't know what kind of law he practices). 2. Ozzy, you pretty, athletic, shockingly-stupid hottie, you perfectly articulated why you could play this game every season until you're in the ground, but you'll never win. Focusing on just winning competitions, and caring nothing at all about the social aspects of the game is why you always lose. For sure, Brad was in the final 3 because of his competition wins, but his social game, as well as any strategy that didn't involve winning competitions, sucked, which is why, like you, he'll never win. Culpepper is a much bigger douchebag than Ozzy, in my opinion, but they both focus on the "outplay", not the "outwit" & "outlast" part of the game. I have to be honest, I truly believe that Culpepper was an ass all season, & they chose to not show it until last night. Please let that be the last of the Culpeppers we see. God help us when their kids are old enough to play, if they're not already.
  15. He was the guy whom she described as "I've loved 2 men in my life, Brandon & Dylan, & Mark seems to be a perfect mix of both of them." He worked with Brandon at the TV station, & lost a Dryer (sp?) to Brandon, which he blamed Kelly for. In real life, JG didn't like him, & I think went to Aaron Spelling & said that the actor was making anti-semitic statements, or something close to that.
  16. I have many thoughts, probably more than the writers, on this Nicole/Zende/Lizzie/Maya/Rick storyline... 1. From my experience, which is far more on this subject than I would have liked, the above posters are correct, & Nicole wouldn't even be seen by a doctor until a solid year of trying (no birth control) at her age. As women age, the time frame gets shorter, usually 6 months, before a doctor will look into it. Back to Nicole, she's been married for 4+ months, & exactly a year ago, she was pregnant with her first biological child, so the chances that she'd be immediately seen are slim-to-none. It's a show, I know, but this really makes people who struggle/d with fertility stabby, or so I've heard. ;-) 2. Does it seem like Rick/Maya are maybe not as tight as they once were? I'm wondering if this is the beginning of the end for them, which will eventually lead to Rick & Nicole bonding over Lizzie & falling in love. 3. I accidentally deleted yesterday's episode before I could watch it, so correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the problem that Nicole has scarring that will prevent her from actually getting pregnant? If that's the case, then wouldn't her eggs still be viable? If she legitimately can't carry a child, but she still has eggs, if this has any semblance of realism, Rick & Maya would offer to pay for a surrogate, who would still use Nicole's eggs & Zende's sperm (shudder), so the child would be 100% biologically theirs, since biology is so important to these people. 4. Thank God for Julius, he was the voice of reason before, during, & now, after the pregnancy. Why are Zende & RJ on contract, & on the screen every day, & Julius got dusted off for today's episode, for the first time since the Valentine's Day wedding??
  17. Don't tap out of the next season too soon, there is the episode about mid-season, which will forever be my favorite Kelly Taylor line, & I am still waiting for over 20 years now for the opportunity to use it (however, considering I'm married, I think my time has escaped). Kelly breaking up with Mark, who was super into money: "If you're in such a hurry to make millions, I've got a little tip for you. Every time the phone rings, bet someone that it's not me. You'll be right every time."
  18. Don't get too excited about that, he did see the door open, remember...not spoiling, might've been the wind.
  19. I am so glad you said this, because I've thought this before, but I couldn't think of a way to word it that I was absolutely positive wouldn't offend anyone, but you hit the nail on the head. To be completely honest, I've actually learned some things via this show about the transgender community.
  20. Hmmmm, so Ridge fires Thomas. I'm actually surprised at that (have I mentioned that I'm so impressed that this show very rarely lets spoilers get out?). Wonder where he'll wind up? I mean, are there any fashion houses looking for designers? I don't know, but I sure hope he lands a new job soon, he just gave away $100,000, after all.
  21. I think this is on-topic, but I just wanted to say "thank you" to everyone on here who made suggestions about future cases. I actually looked up & studied some of the cases you suggested, & this weekend, Audience had a "Murder Made Me Famous" episode on Jim Jones (I knew the basics, but not all of the details, including that the phrase "drink the koolaid" came from that massacre), which was really fascinating. It actually included some interviews with a few of the very few people who made it out of there alive, & live audio from the actual massacre, which was beyond chilling. Thank you for opening my eyes to so many of these cases.
  22. Forgive me if I'm being dense, but is the alluded-to "sekrit" that Robert Kardashian knew OJ was guilty? Here's a newsflash, genius, anyone, & I mean anyone, who saw the OJ verdict being read, knows full-well that Robert Kardashian knew that OJ was guilty, & that Kardashian knew that he had just helped him get away with murder. I was in college when the verdict was read, & to this day, I still, very clearly, remember Kardashian's face when the verdict was read, & his face was a mixture of shock at the verdict and guilt that he'd just helped a murderer go free. Some people remember the glove, I remember RK's face. Is the revelation for the next book going to be that Kim has butt implants? Or that Kim & Kanye have only spent about 3 nights together, total, throughout their "relationship"?
  23. Which would work out fabulous, since Jesse was already going to ask Val to babysit Hannah anyway! It's like Val & Colin are meant-to-be together in every way!
  24. Lucky Donna, her birthday was the only one that wasn't ever-changing (that I can remember). Kelly's was at the end of the season during her eating disorder days, (when she passed out in the Peach Pit bathroom), then, it bumped to August/September to celebrate the tamest 21st birthday in history. I can't remember any other glaringly obvious jumps, but I remember Donna's was consistent.
