  1. Kristina needs to realize that she is never going to have a mature discussion about Sonny with a twenty-one year old twit. Joss is insufferable and she needs more of a storyline then constantly whining about Dex. And the other cops aren't being nice to Dex? So? Every rookie needs to go through some kind of hazing and if Dex is as super-awesome as the show keeps telling us he is, he'll win over the entire police force in a matter of days while solving every case.
  2. I have no idea what to think about Anna's behavior--if she's so overwhelmed with the possibility of Dex's being killed, then instead of trying to force Molly to prosecute Sonny, just don't have Dex join the police force. And Anna can't force any of the ADA's to take a case, that would be Robert's job. What is happening to my favorite heroine?
  3. While the Action!Dex scenes were cringe worthy, I did like the outside and hallway scenes--it was neat seeing more of the PCPD. So Anna's going to hold onto Cyrus confession so she can make a deal with Sonny at some point? I hope Anna knows what she's doing. The John Cates and Carly scenes have me concerned--the man is massively hot, a good actor, and playing an interesting character. Please don't taint him with the Carly.
  4. I feel like the emphasis on Sonny's beating Cyrus with his own hands is something Laura can no longer ignore, that Sonny is becoming too comfortable with his violence being overlooked. And Anna is right that Sonny is a philanthropist--yes the money is from illegal operations, but he is using it for the good of others, especially his donations to the hospital. I am by no means a Sonny supporter, I'm just pointing out that Anna was using the word correctly--sorry, the English major in me is coming out :)
  5. I've been enjoying this show simply because I'm from the Philly area but I had to roll my damn eyes at Kyra's deciding to get a cheesesteak in Kensington--Kensington is one of the worst sections in the city, filled with massive drug activity and gun violence. The writers really do need to do more research. I'm also annoyed at the Jason--it is not cute or endearing to have a grown man admit to not liking following orders or being told what to do and yet Wayne's going all googly eyed when he shows up at her hotel with a gatorade apology. Run girl, run.
  6. Lucy and Carly are both such obnoxious cows and I have no doubt the show thinks we find their self-involvement endearing, They would be wrong. I'm having a hard time dealing with LH's excitable babbling and me me drama--Lucy is utterly unwatchable when she starts talking about all of her hard work regarding Deception. Yes Lucy, we get it, this company is all you have in your life. I'm trying to figure John Cates out: he tells Anna flat out that he doesn't trust her because of the Pikeman investigation but then he asks her opinion on Diane Miller.
  7. I wonder if it will turn out to be that Sheila's been kidnapped this entire time and it's been Sugar who's been acting weird and the person who tried to kill Steffy. When Sheila's found alive she'll have earned Finn's sympathy and will be treated like a victimized heroine. Deacon and Finn will be both be TeamSheila and TeamGiveHerAchance which will drive the Forrester's insane, especially Steffy. This will also be the end of Steffy's marriage to Finn, but only if she hasn't cheated with Liam by then.
  8. I kind of loved that the investigators were so cut and dry when they asked point blank why would Billy and Billy Jean be harassing her--I actually cringed when Jenelle answered "Because I'm too pretty." That level of delusion is hard to break through.
  9. There seems to be an awesome show in off-screensville where Jake and Danny have a superb father and son relationship with Jason because when they were fighting they were both talking about "Dad" and not looking at each other with wtf looks on their faces at this strange robotic creature calling himself their father. I liked Anna's scenes today--FH played her anger very well because she wasn't simply angry at Sonny but at herself for ignoring the mobster in their midst and pretending he wasn't as violent as he was. I think Jason's crimes are being overlooked because he's now working with the FBI, and like Dex, his knowledge of criminal activities is a boon for law enforcement. I like Maxie and I want to see her be a little more annoyed at Blaze's mom but her, Brook Lynn and Lucy just stared at her while she steamed rolled them. Not good.
  10. This is what I hope happens: I want Finn to leave Steffy on his own accord because of her complete inability to see he has a right to his feelings regarding Sheila and I want Hope to be the shoulder he leans on. I want Hope to be a reassuring presence to Finn, a person he knows he can trust while he slowly loses trust in Steffy, and the entire time I want Hope to be pointing out how self-involved Steffy, how lacking in compassion and understanding she is. And when Finn finally leaves because he refuses to accept the ultimatum Steffy throws at him, I want to see Hope in the background, smirking. WOO HOO!! Then Sheila can show up alive again :)
  11. I don't know, the way Valentin was salivating all over Nina yesterday, praising her for simply existing, was making me glad that he and Anna broke up. I wouldn't mind John/Jagger being paired with Anna or Brook Lynn or even Elizabeth but NOT Carly--she already has Sonny, Drew and now Jason's interest, she doesn't need the new hot guy's. Re: Anna's realization that she gave Sonny the benefit of the doubt because of her guilt for not being there for Robin, I appreciate her self-analysis and ability to admit her own mistakes. I also hope she holds true to her words and investigates Sonny and his illegal activities, especially the whole shipping illegal arms/Pikeman situation.
  12. I think Anna did the right thing by Dex, knowing that Sonny would have him killed for talking about the attack on Cyrus. The DA is not going to take the word of Dex, a known associate of Sonny's, as proof that a crime was committed. What law enforcement needs is the evidence of the illegal firearms sale to Pikeman--then they'll have the goods to put Sonny away. I also like that Anna went to talk to John Cates--I'd rather see them as comrades then enemies. I never thought I'd say "Go Joss!" but I did when she said it wouldn't matter to Carly if Jason's life wasn't in danger when he killed someone, Carly would be by Jason's side no matter what. I appreciated Brooklyn's telling off John Cates for questioning Danny without an adult present. If he keeps doing stupid things like that, any evidence they gather will get thrown out by the courts.
  13. Anna wasn't absent for most of Robin's life--she raised her until Robin was a teenager and then Anna had amnesia from the explosion Faison set. Anna regained her memories when Robin was in college and then they were close again. So maybe Anna was gone for about five years? That being said, I think Anna deliberately downplayed Robin and Jason's connection because she simply didn't want Cates to know. He already blames Robin for Sonny's acceptance has Port Charles' godfather, he'd lose his mind if he knew Jason and Robin loved each other.
  14. Anna being her smart detective self and figuring out exactly where Jason would go--she was right both times:):)--was fabulous but the best part was her completely disregarding Carly's nonsense and cutting right to the truth. I also loved her "I'll tell you on the way" to John Cates because she didn't want to risk Carly's tipping Jason off--Law enforcement for the win:):) Alexis in cool grandma mode was a nice change of pace.
  15. Hope has great empathy for people who are hurting and I like how she simply let both Finn and Deacon talk--sometimes you just need to vent--but Steffy isn't here for that. She immediately got angry that Hope wasn't falling all over herself explaining away Steffy's actions. Both and Steffy and Liam need a harsh reality check with their disbelief that Finn's grieving Sheila's loss--just because they can't comprehend something doesn't mean the other person is wrong.
  16. I didn't think Anna was coddling Sonny in the least and I didn't have a problem with her debriefing Chase in front of him--her first priority was getting the info about Dante's shooting, heck, she and Chase even asked Joss and Dex questions right then and there as well. I think her first concern was for Dante and her second concern was for finding the shooter. Concern for Sonny was a distant third.
  17. I think right now Finn is mourning that he'll never know if Sheila could have changed and become a good grandmom to Hayes. Her death has put an end to any possibility of change and to know that it was his wife who put an end to it is deeply shocking. I also think Hope understands wanting to believe the best in people--she did that endlessly with Liam, and then Deacon and now Thomas. Steffy just needs to give Finn chance to breathe and come to terms with Sheila's death, And then when Sheila comes back from the dead, all bets will be off.
  18. I listened closely to Anna when she was talking to John Cates and she is fully aware that Sonny is a criminal and she'll arrest him if the evidence presents itself. I think her point was that Sonny has done horrible things but he isn't a sadistic killer who takes delight in harming others--he isn't all evil nor is he a blameless angel. Jagger needs to dial down his anger and concentrate on the case at hand. Then again, Anna is and always will be my favorite soap heroine and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt--she's a smart detective who isn't afraid to take chances to catch the bad guy. Plus I love it when she goes into badass action mode--I cheer every time she kicks the bad guy's butt :):)
  19. I have zero problems with Hope's talking to her mom about Steffy and Finn--the moment Finn decided to confide in Hope was the minute she could voice her opinion about their issues. And they do have a believable bond through their criminal parents relationship, they're pseudo-step-siblings now--definitely no romantic chemistry. I think the actress playing Steffy is doing a superb job showing her horror and shock over her killing Sheila--truly well done--and I will applaud the writers if they have Steffy and Finn having relationship problems because of Steffy's killing Sheila and not because of Liam. Now that would be an interesting storyline.
  20. Credit where credit is due--Steffy's look of horror when she realized she stabbed Sheila was well done. I also liked Steffy's seeing the shadow of the person breaking in and I cheered when she dove onto the sofa and got the knife to protect herself--I love a good action sequence :) I wonder if Sheila was trying to set Steffy up but Sheila broke into Steffy's home--this is a clear case of self-defense if I ever saw one.
  21. The fight was not nearly as epic as I hoped it would be but at 60 years old, Sheila can still hold her own--damn! At least Finn got to see his bio-mom at her deranged best.
  22. Oh you can bet that both Nina and "Papa" will be coddling the crap out of the little sociopath--the only hope she has will be Laura's tough love.
  23. Bad Alexis Carrington impression is spot on :):) I think what also makes Drew especially obnoxious is in the previous episode he had that great conversation with Anna where they talked about how consumed with anger they were. Drew seemed to be genuinely listening and agreeing and then he just turns around and deliberately targets Nina. Disgusting. I hope the conversation and self-help book is actually a step in the right direction for Anna to finally get past her angst. FH is at her best when Anna's the strong heroine will all remember her for.
  24. The Bobbie flashbacks were completely on point this episode and I loved the realization that the original actress playing BJ had scenes with all of the adults she was interviewing--once again LH was close to tears when she talked about how much she loved Bobbie's daughter--and I have zero problems believing Bobbie was as street tough as JZ played her. She wasn't a bully, she just stood up for people who couldn't defend themselves. I also loved the moment Carly and Felicia walked into GH and Maxie, Anna and Robert rushed towards Felicia and then Robert and Anna awkwardly smiled at Carly--they were clearly waiting for Felicia and could care less that Carly was there too. Kind of awesomely played by FH and TR.
  25. LH's voice was absolutely shredded when she was talking to Tracey (JE looked like she was seconds from losing it as well)--and all of the vets were extremely emotional in their scenes and it felt less like the characters were mourning and more like the actual actors grieving over their friend they worked with for forty years. I can't believe I'm about to give a compliment to Carly but I loved how she pointed out that Luke could have put a stop to Bobbie's being a prostitute with one phone call--damn!
