  1. After getting into GG a few years ago, I finally saw the two episode series finale during the TVLand reruns yesterday and I was...underwhelmed. I wish they'd spent more time building up Dorothy and Lucas' relationship. They fake an engagement to piss off Blanche and then have a scene or two where they talk about how much fun they've been having together and then Lucas proposes for real and then the beginning of the next episode says "Two months later" and there's wedding presents in the background and Dorothy and Lucas are about to get married! It felt like the writers were just over the show at that point and wanted to hurry things along, details be damned. It would've been nice if Dorothy and Lucas met five or six episodes before the series finale and we saw them clicking and gradually falling for each other, then the last episode had them getting married. I like to experience the process of two people falling in love. Oh, well. I guess I'm too much of a romantic for this show lol
  2. I had no idea the cast and crew thought they'd get another season when it was announced this was the last season of the show so imagine my surprise when the last episode ended with Gabby proposing and then faded to black before Josh could answer. Ugh! On one hand, I'm a hopeless romantic who likes the idea of a movie so we could see Gabby and Josh get married but on the other hand, I'm also fine with just using the power of my imagination to believe that after a little more convincing, Josh agreed to marry Gabby and he moved to Seattle with her (and then after a few years they moved back to San Francisco and bought a house next to Sofia and Nick).
  3. I so agree with this! April was just like Gina but what actually made me soften towards April and go from "dislike" to "tolerate" was her relationship with Andy. It humanized her. Gina doesn't have that. She's just awful and clearly the writers love her because they enjoy making her right about so many things and saving the day. I would've liked this episode so much more if Gina had just been lifted right out. I was hoping the bus incident meant Gina would be in the hospital recovering for the rest of the season while Chelsea Peretti went on maternity leave, but I guess I'm not that lucky.
  4. What took me out of the episode was Luke and Manny never noticing Joe asleep in the back, especially considering they got in and out of the car multiple times.
  5. Actually, I just watched that scene on YouTube and Pam says that his name is Steve and he's an actor friend of theirs, so it's entirely possible he did the prank as a favor.
