I'm really questioning this. There was SO MUCH HOOPLA about Juicy Joe calling Theresa that horrid name that I can't believe that Donn said it and got away with it. I've never heard that word associated with Donn EVER….

Uh, no… They had breasts, which designers have a difficult time with since apparently they can only dress women with figures of 12-year-old boys going through a growth spurt. They handed Ashley the biggest opportunity EVER for a win AND for a terrific brand launch. That outfit could have been her signature look… And don't tell me she couldn't have made one of the cute outfits she showed at her audition. I wonder if her original, off-shoulder dress would have been better.

I saw it only from the side and then it looked like a bunch of scarves sewn together. The front view IS better … but when I looked at it, it looked like a plain blue dress split in half with scarves added to accommodate her girth. I remember that prom dress Siriano made for a "regular" girl -- that was horrid. HIS talent did justifiably save him.

Unfortunately, that's usually all that's available to some plus size women--especially those who are size 22 or more. Awful, cheap fabric--usually polyester. And aside from Octavia Davis (who won the Oscar for The Help in that GORGEOUS dress), most plus-size women have horrible wardrobe options. I personally think Melissa McCarthy dresses like a woman on a Lane Bryant Clearance budget. And when Christian Siriano dressed a plus-size actress for the Emmys, it really looked awful (like a toga of sheer scarves). I think Ashley is exhausted and so are the other designers. All these one-day challenges? You're going to end up with sleeveless tops and pencil skirts. And the season is MUCH longer than seasons in the early years.

She is the contact for that article, so it's basically a press release. And it's very poorly written: "low in calories" is an opinion; 50 calories per 6 oz. is a FACT. And if she is so successful, why get a realtor's license? And why leave your business with no contact for 6 weeks?

This is a TV show. There are a lot of factors to consider. Tim thinks Swapnil is acting bored, doesn't care and is SO OVER THIS. Why save a person like that?

I trust that is paraphrased because I can't imagine a guy who agrees to be on a reality TV show to tell the world he hates his daughter who he never sees …

Yikes! I think I'm going to defend Ryan! I think his comment about them spending time together was just to point out the "positive" side of not making friends yet. Second, it would be hard to isolate her if 1) she's working 2) she and her mother are seemingly together every couple of weeks 3) he's GONE a lot! "Oh, honey, now I am going to trust you to not talk to anyone while I'm gone for the next six months, ok?"

What are you talking about? She and Ryan earned a lot more than, say, Lynn Curtin, Lauri, Gretchen, Peggy Tanous, Sheree, Nene, Kim when THEY were first on the show. Besides, I like the idea that she is Ethel to Vicki's Lucy and I would rather have her as a young'un on the show over Kara Keough, Josh, the other Ryan … What she's going through is very real and NOT AT ALL what she planned for ...

Actually, they DO adjust the uneven bars and they also adjust the VAULT TABLE. Taller gymnasts need the bars farther apart to swing between them safely and they need the vault to be the correct height to hit it at the correct point to vault off safely. In the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, the vault was adjusted incorrectly and most of the Olympic predicted winners -- Svetlana Khorkina among them -- ended up falling because of the incorrect height.

He's probably making $60-$70,000 with bonuses AND his salary when he is deployed is TAX-FREE. As a nurse in OC, Brianna could EASILY have been earning $80-$90.000. Given Brianna's salary for OCHW and Vicki's penchant for gifting, a $400,000 house isn't that much of a stretch. In Candace's case, it could be assumed she would pick her WINNING PARTNER. The two of them worked well together and THEY WON. So for her to NOT pick Ashley was a cause of concern. In Swapnil's case, he is 1) Older and so SHOULD be less influenced by high school mean girl tactics 2) was a judge favorite already 3) was successful enough AND SECURE in his own right to have picked Ashley. She sews as well as Joseph …

True. But it's ALSO very SEXIST for us to not call out any of the MEN for not picking Ashley … SWAPNIL picked JOSEPH -- aka "Golden Girls" designer. Even JOSEPH was surprised to be picked THIRD!! At the same time, I think CANDACE was smart to pick Amanda. Be picking a designer who's clearly not a judge favorite (and a lousy designer to boot), you increase your OWN chances of being saved. And by not picking a tough competitor, you eliminate a competitor who has a good chance of winning OVER YOU.

Do you mean Brian Arnold? I liked him but I THINK he never married the mother of his 3 children (IIRC, the show said that he and his girlfriend had 3 kids) and is a stay-at-home dad. Being cynical, I think that he wants to keep the million for himself after she supports them all these years … I noticed that they haven't mentioned her this year so maybe they've broken up.
