  1. I live in Vegas too! And I was actually on The Strip last night. We rarely go, but we were meeting with some friends who were visiting. I had no idea the Duggars were in town. There is a lot of stuff to see if you aren't interested in gambling or drinking, but I imagine some of the people walking by were quite the eye openers for the Duggars.
  2. That wedding dress is quite risque, but I guess the cross necklace makes everything ok.
  3. I don’t recall if anyone has brought this up before, but I just noticed their Instagram profile, complete with angel baby emoji. 🙄. Can’t say I am surprised, of course.
  4. Evidently I can’t tell Josie and Katie apart. I thought that was Josie in the picture.
  5. Well to be fair, I assume she is breastfeeding, so she is probably bustier than normal.
  6. I just love Steph. She is so quiet, just plugging away, no drama. I hope she wins it all.
  7. I don’t get it. I had 3 pregnancies. Yes, I got big and was uncomfortable. I had carpal tunnel and in the latter stages of my last pregnancy I had to sleep sitting up some nights because lying on my shoulder would cause my arm to fall asleep and the “pins and needles” feeling was really unpleasant. But I just went and got into the recliner and tried to go back to sleep. I didn’t wake my husband, or wish that he could “feel my pain”. What would that have accomplished? Lauren really is insufferable. I can only imagine how she would deal with a fussy, colicky baby. I really hope for the child’s sake that she is an easy baby who feeds well and sleeps well.
  8. I know who it is: Just in case someone wants to figure it out for themselves. But I have seen other articles saying it isn't true, so who knows? I was surprised Michelle went home. I thought Priya was in more danger.
  9. Jill is stepping up her game. The partial tuck of the shirt is very trendy. Plus another non-squinting in the sun pose. Let's see if she pulls out the iron too... 😄
  10. Seriously? WTF is wrong with these people? My son jokingly refers to himself as "almost a dentist", because when he got his masters degree in biomedical science his thesis was about dental glass. During his research he drilled into an extracted cow's tooth, and he jokes that dentistry is "easy". But he would never dream of actually trying to practice dentistry. I get the impression that the Duggars, Bates, etc, believe that anyone who is not American and not of their brand of Christianity are "lesser humans" who don't need professionals helping them because the fake missionaries are good enough.
  11. I'm just going to go ahead and say it: Aside from being the male version of Erin, I suspect Lawson would rather have a husband than a wife. If my suspicions are correct then I feel sorry for the guy, insufferable as he is.
  12. I am feeling sentimental. Here is my Buddy:
  13. Can someone refresh my memory as to what exactly the badge signifies? Certainly would not be valid IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. 🙄 I know it wasn't from ALERT, because no way would Lawson ever voluntarily shave his head. And I have to wonder how his brother Zach, who is a genuine law enforcement officer, feels about little bro playing dress up. I'm pretty sure the real police officers are not happy with rent-a-cops.
  14. I don't post often here, but I came by to see if anyone else was having issues with the "reply to this topic" button which disappeared for a little while this morning. I ended up having to scroll to the top of the page to post. Seems ok now though. Anyhow @Westiepeach, I saw the picture of your new puppy and oh, he is so cute! I had a Westie named Buddy and we lost him in June. Tomorrow would have been his 16th birthday. I have been really distracted this summer with bathroom renovations, trips to see family, and having family visit me so it was really only this week that I have been alone and I miss him all over again. Enjoy your new little guy!
  15. Yes, Michelle looks rough in that photo. She has aged quite a bit, and the thicker brows are doing her no favors.
  16. Does anyone know how many episodes there will be? I was surprised that it was 90 minutes. I appreciate the effort to recreate the original home as seen on tv, but the 70's had the ugliest home decor trends ever. I can't imagine someone paying multi-millions of dollars for that home and leaving it as is. I did enjoy it, but I am fed up with all the promos.
  17. First, sorry for the quote box. It seems the website has changed slightly and I was looking for the reply button. I think the dress and photo is one of Jill's better efforts. It does look a bit loose, but she may have to size up so it doesn't pull around her bust, and as a result it is too loose everywhere else. I can sympathize because I have this issue, especially with button down shirts. But her hair looks nice, and she is not squinting. Yes, the dress looks a bit wonky, but it is the usual Citrus and Lemon quality, and there is only so much that can be done to make it look good.
  18. Yawn. Another pregnancy announcement. I just can't with these people. I can only imagine how devastating these announcements are for Michaela. Aside from the fact that she has been raised to believe that having babies for Jesus is her sole purpose in life, I get the impression that of all the sisters she is the one who genuinely loves babies the most. When she completes her nursing training I would not be at all surprised if she chooses to work in labor and delivery or the NICU. I am so sick of the boys and their "sexy staring" posed photos. WTF is that about?
  19. I did love Henry's quick response when Paul asked about the organ keyboard : "It's closed". Two episodes in and no handshakes. I think he was a bit too free with them last year. Maybe the producers talked to him about it? I have no real favourites yet. It takes a few episodes for the personalities to emerge, and there are too many bakers in the beginning. I do like Henry, Amelia, the vet (can't remember her name?). Priya comforting Michael was nice. I do love how there is no backstabbing on this show. Helena's spooky themed bakes will get old fast. I did laugh at the outline of the missing fig roll though.
  20. He is supporting a wife and soon to be 7 kids. They appear to live in a fairly nice newer home. Jobs in retail tend to fall on the lower end of the pay scale. Maybe he also gets a commission for his sales, and he works longer hours to make as much as possible? Again, I don't see how these people can make ends meet. Having a boatload of kids is expensive. Bringing her the ice cream may have been the only gesture he could afford.
  21. I think Jamie should have been the one to go instead of Dan. I know he's young and all, but he just doesn't seem to be taking it seriously at all. Then again, I felt bad for him when he started to tear up, so maybe he was just trying to hide how upset he was.
  22. The cookies are macarons, I think. The cake does look yummy. I wonder what the significance of a "lemon theme" baby shower is? Never heard that one before. Then again, my daughter -in-law had a watermelon theme for my granddaughter's first birthday, because she's "One in a Melon". (And she loves watermelon!)
  23. Here's a thought: Maybe Sierra should close down the baby factory. She would have a much more manageable life that way.
