lol, I just reread this and I meant to say "Briana knows that she's keeping Vicki on the show." Daily appearances from 5-15 grand? Wow. I didn't think her post-Glamis comment was cut because I remember hearing her saying it. I think the reason I watch Vicki for Briana and family is that it's one of the few remaining connections to the way the show used to be. I much preferred it when it focused on the women and their families.

I'm pretty sure she's still going to be on the show. I also think Vicki knows that she's basically keeping Vicki's storyline somewhat relevant. Heck, I only watch Vicki's portions to see Briana and her family. I don't think Vicki's going anywhere unless they drag her offstage with a shepherd's hook

I think that "something" is Ryan. FWIW, I grew up in Westchester and I could not, for the life of me, wait to get out of there after I finished college. So I understand wanting a lifestyle change, but it seems like an abrupt change from what she said last season about wanting to move back to the OC.

lol to Vicki on vacation. Ryan was doing something with real estate IIRC. Interestingly, so is Kara Keough's husband, the former NFL player. Somehow I don't see Ryan's personality translating well to sales. He said that Briana just got a great new job in North Carolina, so maybe she will start bringing in bigger bucks - if you can land a solid nursing job these days, the pay is very good. Still, I don't know how much they had in savings but it does seem like they are buying a lot of stuff. Didn't Briana say that she had been to Oklahoma 14 times since they moved out there, and that she liked it because she needed the help? Also, Vicki regularly posted IG pics of her watching the kids overnight while Briana was at work. Briana even responded to one of them when Owen was a newborn. So unless she's blatantly lying, there's really no arguing with that. I get that she's a narcissist and I'm not trying to make a court case out of this, I just think that out of her many, many faults - she does love and try to help out her kids.

Right, but they were only paying her back after they sold the house in Oklahoma. So what did they do, pay her back and then buy 25 acres in NC? After doing $50K in renovations? If so, that's fine. Something about that whole situation with Ryan added to the mix bothers me. Clearly it works for them, so whatever, but it seems like he suddenly has tons of cash on hand. Edited: Zoeysmom, you articulated that much better than I did, and I didn't see your post until after I replied. That's what really irks me about both Ryan and Briana. They poo-poo Vicki till the cows come home, but at the end of the day, who was watching her kids while she was sick? Who gave her the down payment for the house? Believe me, I'm not saying Vicki is a saint, but I think they should give credit where it's due.

Anyway, did anyone see Vicki's Instagram post for Veterans Day with the pictures of Steve and Ryan side by side? They look SO much alike, it's so weird! I still find it strange that this man seems to always be around her grandkids but yet his IG account shows basically nothing of her. Something about that whole setup just seems off to me.

When Vicki was dating Brooks and Briana was miserable on Oklahoma, she said she would love nothing more than to move back to the OC. At the time, she blamed Brooks's residence at Casa Gunvalson for her not moving back. When she visited her mom, she was over the moon about getting her hair and nails done, going to restaurants, etc. I thought she enjoyed the OC lifestyle and wanted to go back to it, but now it seems she's in search of something else. Fair enough. And I agree that being separated from your spouse with 2 small children while feeling sick is a miserable thing to go through. But I think there's a little bit of Vicki in Briana - she is always ready to blame someone or something for her not being happy. I give it a year before she's griping about something else and Vicki buys her an OBX house to cheer her up. I wish them well and while I think distancing herself from Vicki might be a good idea, Ryan still gives me the creeps and I don't envy her moving across the country with him. His family seem like ultra-conservative Christians, which certainly isn't my cup of tea. But to each, their own.

I imagine that they are searching for a very different lifestyle. If Ryan still struggles with PTSD then I'm sure the proximity to Vicki and trying to maintain that certain OC charm could wear him down. Briana claims she can live anywhere and be happy, so I wonder if this will be a good fit for her. Awhile ago, I noticed on her Pinterest board that she had a board "North Carolina home" - this was way, way before they moved back to the OC. Maybe it was always in the back of their minds.

Omg LOL to all of this. I don't remember which genius said way back when on three forums that her entire jaw looked like a prosthesis, but to this day it can still make me cry laughing. I find her to be very unattractive, but I also have a pet peeve for women who feel the need to completely transform their faces like a mask with makeup.
