I don't connect with KP's Theo @ all. It's a lifeless performance - much like the rest of the teens. I dunno if it's just that the writing is terrible or the dialogue unrealistic...but it's very awkward to watch.

Here's my hugely Unpopular Opinion...I don't like any of the teens. As actors or as characters. Yes, even Theo.

Be careful what you wish for, IslandGal. I'm sure many of us remember the hideousness of Jen's clown pants.

Dave Personal Story: I started watching Dave way too young - his old NBC show. I never had a bedtime, but seeing my dad enjoying the show made me curious. As I grew up my father + I didn't have much in common - aside from Dave [sometimes watching it in different rooms because we weren't getting along - but always talking about it the next morning]. Over the years I got into Conan as well [+ my dad didn't get that - even though I think they are part of the same comedy geneology] but always referred to Dave as "my TV Dad". + there were certain topics that I could always talk about with my dad - Dave + my dad's dog, mainly. My father passed away in 2001 when I was still a young lady. His dog passed away a few years later. Now with Dave leaving I really do feel as though one of my big connections to my dad is leaving this world. I realize this is a bit silly + melodramatic...tonight is gonna be a tough one.

I'm usually in the same boat as everyone around here, but this seems to be a big departure [+ puts me in league with the crazies that post on the DooL FB page, which is a tad worrying]...I like Paul. I've always liked Paul. I don't know if it's just because he's attractive + a competent actor + I'm a huge baseball fan...but I just like him. I don't find him too pushy or stalkerish - I just feel sympathy for him. + he's so many things that Sneasel is not [please see above: he's attractive + a competent actor] that I can't help but root for his happiness. Maybe not with Jackson...but happiness nonetheless.

Although the fashion itself is pretty offensive @ times I am most bothered by the fact that many characters often seem thoroughly unprepared for the weather. Today Nicole [with her awful, AWFUL hair] mentions to Dr. Tan that it's very hot out + suspects people are dropping like flies...so OF COURSE Eric shows up wearing LAYERS including a long-sleeved henley shirt. + while Jen's outfit was nice [+ a lot like Kate's the other day] the thought of strapping on my skinny leather leggings during a heatwave is just a world of no. During the winter there was so much sleevelessness on women - it was distracting.

Gabi's prison duds are sure to be an improvement over her actual wardrobe. Sad.
