Getting To Genoa You : Y&R Daily Chat

I call Lily. No blood ties I can think of. Soapy goodness ensues....
  3. I remember in Heather’s rookie season her having a distinct hook nose. I seriously can’t tell if she had it done, in some pictures I’m sure it’s different and in others, like this one, Im not. A profile shot would settle it, but they never post profile pics of her. It is seriously bugging me now, I have to know, lol

    Ghost Adventures

Jars containing human body parts found shortly after a GA invesigation. Looking at the picture, I would like to humbly request that Zak look into buying pants that fit. His legs and lower body look twice as wide as his upper body. It looks stupid. At least they made it to Arkansas, which is the farthest east they have been in a long time. Speculation is that Zak stayed close to Vegas while his father was very ill, and now that his dad has died, he will go farther afield. I mean, even if he still refuses to fly, they have a nice bus now, and you can make a decent cross-country trek filming at locations along the way there and back, especially if the driving isn't your responsibility.
  6. I watched the 2 hour recap in about an hour (ff thru all the "modeling" and the Juan crap) because I missed the first season of these two. I didn't think it was possible to like Paola any less, but she was obnoxious and self centered from day 1. And Ross was clearly in lust with the 'espicy Latina' when they first met. Hoping a baby will give her something else to focus on and knock a chunk off her insufferable ego.

    Spring Baking Championship

I think one of the reasons I like the final four is that none of them come across as doing this to try to get a tv show. They've all made complex things that I, a somewhat okay home baker, have no experience and no confidence making - and it's beautiful to see.

And Gregg hadn’t eaten all day - seriously, is no one caring for him? I’m with TamaraTattles first sentence In more What Is It Going To Take To Get Nene Leakes Fired? news, Nene Leakes was wasted while hosting the Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour over the weekend.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Oh, definitely, I'm not pro-Sith either but the Jedi Order in PT was stagnant, compliant and refusing to change anything. They dismiss the return of the Sith as not possible because they would have "sensed it" rather then being shocked and trying to figure out what they should do and what went wrong. Who else could it possibly have been? Qui Gon was really the only one trying and no one was really listening to him. Obi Wan tells him if he stopped defying the council then he'd be on the council. Really? So if you go along with everything the council says you get to be on the council? What could possibly go wrong with that. The way they talk to Anakin when he's in the room? No, just tell him to his face that he won't be a Jedi because he's too old. Never mind that he'd been in slave his entire life and just left his mother back home still in slaved. Where was their compassion? They were so worry about following rules. That they stopped caring about anything else. Yoda's so worried about Anakin's training so you'd think he'd decide to train Anakin on his own or something. Nope, hand him over to a newly made Jedi knight who just lost his master and never spent any time on his own as Jedi. As much as I love Obi Wan he was just as much in TPM and AOTC following the rules as the Council. Although he does express concern about Anakin being a bodyguard to Padme to the council who then ignore him. But because Obi Wan and most of the Jedi were all raised the same way that meant none of them could fully understand Anakin. He was raised in slavery, had a mom who loved him and he loved her. If they did they would have helped him. And certainly not leave her still in slaved. Obi Wan completely dismisses Anakin's dreams in ATOC which turned out to be true because he doesn't understand. He is much better in ROTS. They dismiss Padme's suggestion that Dooku was behind the attack because he used to be a Jedi. Except Dooku is leading the Separatists against the Republic. That's way more then just having a different opinion from the Jedi. They are so afraid of the Dark Side. They don't even realize how afraid they are of the Dark Side. Yoda does at least in ROTS realized he failed and the book version does go in a little more to him realizing his failure. That he had been training the Jedi to prepare them to fight the previous battle against the Sith. He wasn't preparing them for anything new or present. He failed so badly. The Jedi under him and the galaxy paid dearly for it.

S08.E02: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

I love S8 Bran. He is there to move the plot along - "We don't have time for this (pleasantries). You dragon took down the wall." And he is here for the snark. "What we do for love". Despite what Bran claims, I sense a teenage boy lurking in the 3 eyed raven. And I love that Tyrion still has goals should the dead rip him apart. He hopes he marched down to King's Landing and kills Cersei.

Season 8: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion

"Might" isn't fact. Moreover, the interview wasn't a pre-season hype PR piece, but a post-mortem after the episode aired. The most interesting is how the show treats the reveal as an identity crisis for both Dany and Jon, as well as a roadblock for star-crossed lovers. The pretext is political, but as far as Dany and Jon themselves as concerned, it's only personal. In the light of what happened in S5, Edric Storm was imo only a stepping stone on the way for Stannis to burn his own daughter (first, sacrificing a nephew he knew and liked). In the light of what just happened on the show, if Gendry survives his endgame has to be linked to Arya's, so I don't think he'll be given anyone else's. If he survives.

S02.E13: Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow

Doesn't reciprocate feelings != Saying that they don't think it's a good idea. I don't think it's as simple as Ed's position "If we still love each other we should work it out", but it's not accurate to say she doesn't reciprocate. They've been out socially many times, and Ed went so far as to give advice to the teacher bf. Not that he's the 'good guy' here or what ever, but it's not as cut and dry. I'd rather they don't get together because it does create complications, but I also don't think hooking up once and a while is off limits either. However, neither have been up front about that.

Season 8: Speculation and Spoilers Discussion

Hey, no need to convince me...but I'm not the one who's put years of her life and lost so much in singleminded pursuit of becoming queen and thus making all the pain (both the pain felt and the pain inflicted) worth it. Dany finding out that ALL of that was in pursuit of a title that wasn't hers by right - might find it too difficult to make herself believe the truth, on the sunk cost fallacy. It might be easier for her to believe that maybe Jon isn't quite the man she thought he was, and become more suspicious of him. They're still relative strangers, after all. She hasn't watched him all the years we have. And Jon won't be able to reassure her with his love that things haven't changed between them - the fact that she's his aunt will inhibit him, in a way that she won't really get (she was RAISED a Targaryen ready to marry her brother) and possibly exacerbate her suspicions. I agree that there doesn't seem to be enough time left for much plot to happen - especially with the minute-by-minute pace of the last 2 episodes.

    "The View": Week of 4/22/2019

Whoopi is of a age is she lived through the feminist movement of the 70s/80s, so if Whoopi dismisses the movement for whatever reason, I don't have a problem with it. Yes their are Black feminists, DESPITE the fact the feminist movement did not traditionally embrace Black women or causes important to Black women. Whoopi actually didn't bring up race into her feminism comments though. It was MM who brought it up, mostly as a knock against feminism rather than really trying to support Whoopi's comments.

The Lonely Js Club: Jana, Jedidiah, Jeremiah and Jason

Wow, I wonder why GMC picked Jana? Because of her hard workingwoman image? Because she has the least baggage of the sisters? Isn't Jana supposed to tout the virtues of buy used, especially cars. You know, her family's livelihood. Perhaps she's blackmailing Boob, and but good! Just something else for Jessa to fume over. A new car! No fair.

Escaping The Stones: The Cast In Other Roles

I read where Joss Whedon has cast Laura Donnelly as a lead in his new HBO sci-fi series, The Nevers. Joss is a fan of developing strong women characters and Laura’s portrayal of Jenny fit right into that groove.
