  2. Sandoval said he paid for all the bills when she not was paying her portion, so they were sued for foreclosure, etc.
  3. There were 31 bags collected from the back yard, many were beer cans. The following night 28 bags of trash, a lot beer cans were washed or blown into a creek, and the Department of Environmental Services fined the defendant for that. I think the defendant should have been able to keep every penny because he had to clean up mountains of trash, and was fined too.
  4. Considering the way Fraser was treated by the awful Sandy last season, I’m surprised he’s being such a diva. I remember Kate helping the chef with the beard when he was struggling. There’s no reason for fraser not help this chef rather than complain about his anxiety looking at the mess.
  5. Schwartz's new girlfriend told him he was so hot in TomTom! 🤣

I think this was a set up, honestly. I think Danny might be taking one for the team, and looking bad, because I think she wanted to come home. I could be completely wrong, and if she did actually want to stay and wasn't complicit, then yes, he's a complete asshole. But, didn't she just go off to do something for Miss USA overnight and he was fine? When they were talking, she didn't seem like she had any resentment or animosity towards him or his support. I honestly hope they address this one way or another at some point so I can decide if he's an ass or not!
  7. Was it 31 bags of beer cans? I thought maybe it was if they were so light the wind blew them into the canal. I see why the brother cannot handle his own affairs. I couldn't either if I guzzled beer day in and day out.
  8. If you are satire you don't have to hold to the rules of your universe as tightly, as long as deviating from them serves the satire. In that sense it's a bit easier. But on the other hand, if you are satire, you actually have to be funny and being funny is hard. Not necessarily laughoutloud-funny, but at least amusing-funny. I also very much disagree with your statement that Fallout isn't trying. I think it tried and succeeded at a lot of things. Counterpoint: Elon Musk.
  9. Monique complained plenty. So did Debra. Monique had nothing to lose? I mean, really, at the end of the day, one is criminal behavior and one isn't. Of course running my mouth could get me knocked upside the head, because there are criminals. I also lock my doors because of criminals, but if I leave my door unlocked (legally allowed action), I do not deserve to have my house broken into (criminal action). Monique's actions were criminal - Candiace's were not. I consider Candiace's actions (while often incredibly childish) to be more more mature than Monique's.
  10. Worse, this summer his youngest will be 10 and his oldest will be 15!
  11. The secret is that Michelle is cheating. They made it look obvious. And Kristen will expose it at the season finale per the previews. It seems it will be a short season. Michelle seems to have checked out, and she probably thinks she can do better than Jesse. I feel a little sorry for him, and I never thought I would. Daniel acted a little bit like a spoiled kid who couldn't deal with anything without his wife's help who needed some free time for herself. I'm another one who doesn't like Janet too much anymore. I also think she is a little condensending toward her husband. Jax is no prize, but it see that he mostly cleans the house, etc. Brittany has a huge problem if she throws up, and blacks out when I'm sure she is so used to alcohol binging. Luke is aggressive (he was at the Capri party- a note: the name of the island was finally pronounced properly).
  12. In the case of Monique vs Candiace, it was a lot more than talk shit get hit. Candiace was actively goading Monique until she snapped. She got what she wanted. Attention, mamas help going after Monique and she did Gizelles dirty work for her because Gizelle had it in for Monique. Candy thought she was all set with Gizelle until uncomfortable gate happened. With Sesame Street, Candiace wasn’t paying her any attention and hadn’t been talking shit about her. Sesame was probably encouraged by Ashley and Gizzelle to start something with Candiace. All Candiace said was the Help and vermin and Cookie Monster decided to fight. The other ladies really shouldn’t have called Candiace out for Sesame.
  13. It would cost a lot for paint for the bedrooms, but those old bathrooms would have to be redone. They would be expensive to remodel, and the homeowners have already spent what they can afford on the rest of the rooms.
  14. Uh, ok, but females are born with all the eggs they will have/ovulate. So with all these 50+ women on Days, were all their eggs gone from their ovaries? If yes, did they have donor eggs (rhetorical since I know the answer is no) in order to get pregnant?! Still doesn’t pass the IRL science test.

    X-Men'97

Preview of the next episode: I think the general message is "Do not piss off Rogue."
  16. I also have never played the game and really don't know anything about it. I'm enjoying the show even though I find Lucy's gosh darn it idealism annoying as she shouldn't have lasted 5 minutes outside the vault. Really over the 50s music but I get it is part of the game and not going anywhere. Body parts keep getting cut off and reattached with almost no gore. I guess they can do that since this was a video game but as a non-player, it is distracting.
  17. Just saw an ad for Etsy that made me laugh. It takes place in the late 1800's. An official looks out a window, sees the Statue of Liberty and says something like, "Great! Now we have to get *them* something" 😁.
  18. Tripp makes me uncomfortable. He gets this mean ass look on his face like he’s about to snap if he hears something he doesn’t like. He’s rather impressed with himself despite being uncultured and dopey. No wonder he’s down to one girl. I bet his ex girlfriends would have plenty to say.
  19. I agree this was a very good series, but it was tough to watch; I wish Netflix would've displayed a trigger warning in the beginning of each episode. Donny was exhausting, but given his failing comedian career; the trauma of being violated; in addition to dealing with an emotionally unavailable father and Martha, I showed him some grace. Not that I'm excusing his poor judgment and him making terrible choices, but I do think it was the makings of the person he's become. I hope do he's in therapy. The actress who played Martha, did an amazing job portraying her as sympathetic character, I see why Donny felt obligated to continue to contact her and listen to her recording after she was sentenced; especially when she explained origin of the "Baby Reindeer" nickname.
  20. This is a boring episode for me. COTW is quite basic yet they still cannot execute it well. Kai doesn’t have to babysit Caleb just because they need to give Sam something to do. Kacy shippers are hoping (or imagining) that Lucy is secretly training with NCIS Elite. I guess we’ll find out next week. 😆

@ebk57 Nice find! I had searched a little but wasn't able to find an in-depth take, only short mentions. Thank you!
  22. They are both deficiencies. But you rarely hear people who throw hands complain about how hurt they are by someone's words - that's not how they are built. And uniformly, they have little to nothing to lose by smacking someone upside the head other than their freedom, which many do not value in the least. Life is all about risk assessment. I don't throw hands. But I do recognize that not everyone is like me, and that the possibility exists that even though I don't fight, you do, and you may not have the same level of impulse control as me. I understand that people are unpredictable, and therefore it's in my best interest to not presume good manners and proper behavior from anyone who is angry. Folks like Candiace may wish for the world to respond the same way they do, but folks who live long lives without fighting recognize that the easiest way to win a fight is to avoid one.
  23. I stopped watching the previous episode at around 15mins. I stopped watching this the moment I heard the name "Maddie". Which was when? 5 mins in? Omg... my hopes for this show is that Mariska is quitting and all this TERRIBLE season is just the build up for this. The other explanation is that during the writers strike, production asked AI to write the scripts adding keywords like "Mariska" "Godlike" "Benson, Benson, Benson" "Olivia" "Saint" "Savior" "Ultimate Hero" "Ego" "lots of whispering" and apparently "Maddie". The later was probably added by mistake when the producer received a call from a friend called Maddie. Or was sharing piccies of his fav kitty. We will never learn....
  24. Back in 2001, I had just arrived in Stockholm & wasn't feeling well. The hotel staff sent me to a special drug store for info' or advice. I went there & they told me to go to a clinic at 5 PM. I went, had tests done & saw a (very cute!) doctor. He wanted to prescribe an antibiotic so I got out my list of the ones I can handle. But they were brand names & he needed the pharmaceutical name. He gave me a Rx for one (costs me $12.00) but I felt woozy the next day. Did some research on the hotel's computer (pre-laptop, smartphone) & got the generic names of the drugs I took at home. Went back the next day & got a familiar Rx ($12.00 again, thank you Sweden! 🇸🇪) and had a good vacation. After that I've always traveled with a list of Rx's with the proper names.
