  2. Rebel Moon: Part Two - The Scargiver premiered on Netflix on April 12th. It currently has Rotten Tomatoes scores of 15% (critics) and 53% (audience)... https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/rebel_moon_part_two_the_scargiver Given the bad reviews, a Forbes critic is questioning whether Netflix will even authorize all of the planned sequels... Will Netflix Actually Greenlight ‘Rebel Moon 3’ Now? Paul Tassi Apr 21, 2024, https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2024/04/21/will-netflix-actually-greenlight-rebel-moon-3-now/?sh=349bacb742fd
  3. I just started my umpteenth re-read of Divine Evil, and each time, it scares the bejesus outta me! While Jane Rafferty Stokey isn't the worst mother (like Maeve, Gloria or that BITCH Grandma Byden), I don't like her very much and don't have much sympathy for her because she rejected Cameron to "stand by" her second abusing, philandering, raping husband. Yeah, yeah, she lived during a time when wives put up with that shit. I don't care. It wasn't until she found Biff's Satanic materials that her eyes were opened. But I really, really, really love Cameron Rafferty. And I really love the relationship between him and Clare.
  4. Another similarity is the arrogance of the killers. who when seeing Columbo or Elsbeth for the first time, underestimate them because of the rumpled trench coat, the cigar, the many bags, or loud apparel, and consider them mere annoyances. Which makes the inevitable gotcha! all the more sweet.
  5. The only thing I can find in the transcript is that Angela was friends with the guy she (accidentally) killed, and the victim and his wife knew that their neighbor had converted all of his money into gold and had a bunker. Seems like a plot hole to me.

    Furiosa (2024)

Furiosa: George Miller, Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth on Medicine and Madness BY TIM MOLLOY UPDATED: APRIL 23, 2024 https://www.moviemaker.com/furiosa-george-miller-anya-taylor-joy-chris-hemsworth/
  7. I was just scrolling through the 2014 ice dance comments and saw familiar names: quof, chicksdigscars, GoodQueenJane, avaleigh. Can't believe I didn't see my name. I loved how chicksdigscars eviscerated Scott Moir for his attitude. So, when did TWOP close down?
  8. The rules and enforcement of said rules on TWOP is why I only ever read the forums and never posted. I could never figure out what TWOPHoward meant by "boards on boards" only that he was everywhere saying it.
  9. Every time I see Kimball in a foreign country on Milk Street, I think he created the show and company so he could jet set around the world on the company's dime. I obviously don't think well of him. 😄
  10. I was going to write and ask if this was a joke, or did I miss something. Went back and re-watched, and yes, I certainly did miss something! Reasons? I'm stupid? I was falling asleep. I said to myself out loud, "I just want this to be over," so not watching attentively. There was a lot of going back and forth in time. Also the critical scene was brief and I thought he was having a panic attack. BTW does that comment still need to be in a spoiler? I guess I found enough about the (mercifully short) show to watch the whole thing. I liked Jack's work friend, and I liked Alice's assistant. I kind of liked Jack, but not his wimpy acceptance of Alice yanking him around. Alice? mostly not.
  11. You mean you missed Know-It-All Liz explain "Spin the Bottle" and "7 Minutes in Heaven"? You missed Jonah's relationship advice?? For shame.
  12. Yep. That was me, and that was my exact point. Thanks for bringing us back to it.
  13. Sometimes a so-called support group isn't very therapeutic because it only keeps its members stuck in an arrested emotional state as they continue to grind the same axe over and over again with each other. Their continued harping on their grievances only keeps them in that state and unable to move on, especially if that's what brought them together in the first place. Also, with the show refusing to let this season die the participants are continually brought right back into the same negative feelings over and over again and can't move on. How many months has it been and they're still being forced into talking about the experience with their exes sitting right across from them? To them their experiences (and therefore their relationships) haven't ended so it's no wonder their anger and hatred hasn't subsided as of the date of these episodes. As to the men showing up, perhaps the contract is ironclad on them being a part of these episodes but maybe they also think it will help their cause to defend their images. Who knows?
  14. https://tvline.com/lists/drag-race-all-stars-9-cast-list-release-date-paramount-plus/ It is odd there are only 8 queens. It's already sometimes painful when they drag out a full compliment of queens - this could get annoying. Possibly, as it is for charity, it will be a non-elimination season like Season 7 which will be better for me.
  15. From April 21st RetroSpecs Table Read of MG's The West Wing with Katie Cassidy...

  17. Thanks, I appreciate that cuz it was so similar I could not help but side eye it. Good to know ..they were both probably copying some other queen. 🤣
  18. typical narc behavior...all set up to meet the needs of the narc parent...I know...I have narc parents....and my family is wrecked...going in to second generation wrecked....I got out and got therapy ( still go weekly)....tough to see the nieces and nephews so messed up...my kids are doing great though...cause I was the scapegoat and they are usually the ones who break free and break the cycle...Its is also why I cannot stand Alyssa...she is most like kelly jo...lazy , entitled....and messing up Allie so much ( I think allie is the scapegoat)....I would probably not like Erin either...she just does not post on SM that much...or at least it is very scripted....
  19. The idea of this format isn't terrible but the execution is. I don't know these kids at all. In a group dance, someone pops up on-screen and I'm so busy trying to remember their name that I don't really notice the dancing. I don't care about who gets cut. I knew it would be guys this time to even things back out. I have no emotional attachment to any of them. The show thinks a package during the auditions makes up for spending time with each contestant in rehearsals and in partnerships. It doesn't. What made it easy to get to know the contestants in the past was seeing them in a variety of situations and seeing not only how they do but hearing partners and choreographers talk about them, who they are and how they are coping. So much of that has been stripped back that its soulless now. I don't care about the showmance. It's not the first one so I'm not mad about it but when they showed the women talking about it, I had no idea what guy they meant. Also, I get why the music video was shot and edited before we saw it because that's how it works in real life. But for Broadway, why didn't they perform it live in front of the audience? That's how that works in real life. Because watching it, I wondered how many times they filmed each dance to get all the angles without other cameras in view and then how they chose to manipulate the takes to justify the cuts. Did the two (I don't know their names!) crash into each other one time out of eight? Did someone mess up in one take and it wasn't shown? I just need Cat at the start of the episode to say each person's name and have them do a little dance. I need that visual reminder at the top of the show so I know who we are talking about the rest of the episode. I am a dumb TV person. I know its too late to change it now but it hurts. I would have thought the producers of the show understood the reason they did that for every other season but now I'm thinking they just thought it was to kill time?
  20. I thought he did a lot with that tiny role. He is Edmond Laryea. The character was Will Douglas. I guess he's new-ish to acting? Here's his demo reel: https://youtu.be/sWwzxtoniRk
  21. Whoever is working in the Plexus labs inventing those pink concoctions must be making a fortune. I am convinced that normal Plexus usage is designed to make its users gain weight somehow, and the rah-team-go Zoom meetings are to convince them that if they are gaining weight/feel gross on normal Plexus, then they must be doing something wrong and need to re-set. Janelle and Christine Brown from Sister Wives used to also frequently talk about their Plexus re-sets. If it works as good as it's supposed to, why would anyone need a "re-set?" It's all marketing BS to get more money out of these people, and it's actually kind of sad. Also, wow - Nathan KELLER got one of the bestest Mahmo birthday tributes that I can recall in quite some time! I guess all that picking up the Olive Garden check really counted for something, right? Congrats on becoming ONE OF US!
  22. I liked the episode, but come on, they are down to the wire on the execution--don't you think even the most hardline governor would have granted a stay while they tracked down the crazy murderer who was suddenly running around the country? But no problem, time will stretch out so in less than one minute they can find the missing DNA and test it. Also, they should have at least paused the execution because they weren't carrying it out properly. It's a good way to make an anti death penalty argument on TV, but it was ridiculous. They never made the connection of the amputee fetish out loud to the group. Only for us viewers. At least Remy got to hook up with the hot lawyer.
  23. Thanks, that makes sense. There should be 4 episodes left and it comes back on May 1.
  24. Maybe I missed it, but did they ever explain how Angela found out about the neighbor's gold stash let alone WHERE the location of the bunker was ? The victim's wife mentioned in passing that the neighbor had converted all his money to gold to guard against the dollar failing, but would that really be enough information to stage a heist without verifying it was true ? Because the neighbor didn't seem to know who Angela was when he was in the interrogation room I'm more surprised that the truck driver didn't get in more trouble after his visit with the prostitute in the parking lot compromised what he was carrying -- especially after the lock would have been found missing when he made his delivery.
