  2. Oh Joan! I know there is nothing funny about a child smoking but you painted such a vivid word picture with how nonchalant he was about it, I was laughing at the incongruity of the situation. I've heard that smoking stunts a person's growth, maybe he was actually 20yrs old. Sweeeeet! OMG.
  3. Mary Beth (and a lot of other hosts) have grandkids -- and -- isn't she the host that survived a bad car accident a few years ago? Those two things might, just might, get her to thinking....something that after the accident I'm sure she knows....there's more to life than working at QVC. I think she could very well decide, "you know what? I'm done." I have made enough money. I have saved enough money. I have enough money (plus they'll get Soc Sec. I'd imagine). I've worked for 40 years. I want to do something else and enjoy my family. I don't want to have to be on the air when they say so." Rick is the youngest of the three mentioned I believe, so he's the one I think is least likely to leave even in the next 10 years. JRT. Who the hell knows.:)

For heaven's sake, Q! Don't show up close crappy finishing on garments you're selling for a premium!

Empire in the Media: Read It In Billboard

So the writers threw together a wedding and I suppose honeymoon exit out of nowhere? There's no way this was planned, because it's way too convenient. It also seems final if they want it to be, happy ending off to somewhere else and keep new brother around.
  7. Tom Cruise has a nice first name. I know several nice Toms.

Jill & Derick Dullard: Counting On (Donations)

Kids look cute. Jill looks pretty. Derrick looks homeless. I do not need to see them in an awkward lip lock. Or in any lip lock. Ever. Is it just me or is the celebration of the resurrection of the purported savior of mankind NOT the time to be shilling your cheap-ass clothing line?

    Except Chelsea (and Cole)

Ok... 1. What happened to her chin? Apparently the bronzer missed it. 2. Why are her fingers a different color? And a LIGHTER color? Did she rub her makeup in with her knuckles or something? You'd think it would be the other way around. 3. Lower neck is a different color too. 4. How is this hair lower maintenance than throwing it in a ponytail? i don't usually notice her makeup, besides it being really thick, but all these missed spots stood out to me lol! Sooooooo many questions here!

S02.E13: Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow

This is the only article I could find so far that addresses the question at all, but according to it there was some CGI. A quote: "With the assistance of just a tiny bit of CGI de-ageing, the split screen performance and production is handled very well. " https://www.space.com/the-orville-season-2-episode-13.html

    QVC

The poor worksmanship of A-343835, at $89.98, is apparent when it's on the hanger. On a model, less bad but still there.

    For The People

Was it...really a secret that Roger and Jill are dating? They played it like it was some huge reveal to Sandra, but I thought it was an open secret that everyone just wasn’t acknowledging yet. I really wish they hadn’t copped out had the officer die right away, since it absolved Sandra of a lot of her responsibility. Attorney/client privilege is hugely important, but Christ, I don’t actually think she had a leg to stand on with “I don’t know if he’s in danger” — you have a map of where the body is. I liked Jill’s way of positioning “I fight for the most vulnerable and today the most vulnerable person is that officer” - there was a better way to go about doing this; I’m not sure this was quite the way to go. I cant help it, I know he’s there for comic relief, but I like the antics of Seth. I liked the actor on The Good Wife, I liked the limited role he had on Mr Robot, and I think he’s fine here. I’d rather watch him and Jay have roommate shenanigans than watch Sandra box out her feelings.

    Nate And Jeremiah By Design

The little jabs Nate and Jeremiah take at each other don't bother me at all. Couples often have a "bit", and that's theirs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you to @CrazyInAlabama and @iMonrey for the info about inspections not being required in CA. I had no idea! CA has so many consumer protection laws, that really surprises me. Count me in on being annoyed at the "We're pregnant" thing. Unless YOU are vomiting for three months, lugging around 30+ extra pounds, dealing with swollen ankles and a whole slew of other pregnancy-related issues, YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT. An empathetic and supportive partner? Yes. Hopefully. But pregnant you aren't. I also didn't think the wife appeared to be 8-9 months pregnant at the end. Heck, if they hadn't said she was pregnant, I never would have known. Weird! If they're fans of GoT, and have a girl, maybe they'll name her Daenerys. If they want to stick with character's last names, Tarly or Sparrow would work for a girl. Another boy? Lannister! (I don't watch GoT, so if any of the names of characters I suggested are rotten people, I truly didn't know).

    My Lottery Dream Home

They have to have something in mind or in it since the "real" closing etc is much slower than usual. A few shows back, the Milford CT guy had been in his almost a year, he got a condo. He was easy to look up being in state. His winnings and house price/what he paid was accurate and although I disagreed with choice, "maybe" the ones David showed him weren't shown to him then.
  21. My three faves.. I hope we get a shot of all of them!
  22. I actually quite liked this episode. I guess I was the only one? I took it as a one off episode that wasn't part of the main plot. I'm going to compare it to the treehouse of terror episodes on the simpsons. It was fun in a twilight zone type way.

    Agreed.
  24. I think Jessa is bored and posted the picture because she likes getting into arguments with people. It's a shitshow in the comments.

S02.E14: Such Sweet Sorrow, Part II

Because they don't want to admit what a clusterfuck their production is?

    S02.E07: Treasure of the Sun

Well, fuck. And I was just thinking at the beginning of the episode that Sweeney was becoming my favourite character.
