  2. General Hospital. Again regarding Sonny and Brenda. This is a much smaller scale than to usually evil crap Sonny does and the show brushes aside, but man did a get an uptick in anger when it happened. Tracy and Luke were doing a proper wedding at her families home. During the reception Sonny and Brenda step away and Sonny proposes to Brenda. They come back in during the reception and ANNOUNCE IT. Tracy is IMHO, rightfully upset and calls it rude, but Luke brushes it off, calling it romantic. No Luke, Tracy is right, it was rude, so f*ck him too. And no, the reception doesn't mean the wedding is over, it is part of the wedding. The wedding isn't over until there is tear down of the hall and everyone is on their way home. No one should be announcing their own good news during other people's celebration unless you get explicit permission for whoever the guest(s) of honor. That is when everyone is together? Well sucks to suck and we all have video chats and phones. Of course later in the episode, it shows exactly why you don't do such a thing as the wedding guests were now focused on Sonny and Brenda and congratulating them. I always liked that on Friends, during Monica and Chandler's wedding, Rachel was doing her best to keep her pregnancy a secret so she wouldn't take the shine off of Monica, despite her own inner turmoil as it was unplanned.
  3. I didn't either. They didn't need to get that nekkid to look sexy.
  4. I really enjoyed this interview with Chuck Forrest. https://www.vulture.com/article/chuck-forrest-interview-jeopardy-invitational.html
  5. Fusco! I could not recall how I knew the actor. That's it!
  6. People like her and the rest of the assholes that had nothing better to do than harass the parents of dead children are the reason that I don’t feel the slightest ounce of sympathy for those that listen to Alex Jones. “But they were tricked…they have a right to their opinions!” NO. I don’t care what they believed. Being gullible is no excuse for despicable and deliberate cruelty. It’s unforgivable. And the fact that Jones made a big show of a half-assed insincere apology in court, then turned around to mock the parents and everyone else on his show…I truly hope there is a hell.

  8. I think I liked Annette's heart more than Leah's footprint, but those were the two standouts for me. I'd be thrilled to have either fixture in my home.
  9. That hadn't occurred to me, but you might be right. It was fun to see everyone dancing at the party though. Shred and Patel's flipper house looked like a wooden money pit.
  10. The favoritism is glaring. Jackson can do no wrong, and Lilah is treated like a sack of flour with a bow on her head.
  11. To be fair to Maria, I don't think she knew she would side with the men over the women. We did see that scene where she was telling Charlie, her closest ally I guess, that Ben was the vote and Charlie was the one to tell her why it shouldn't be Ben. I think Maria was fully open to keeping Ben AND Jem, but for some reason, everyone wrote Tim off as the official vote. That, and when Jem started behaving weirdly, it made the decision easier. I don't blame Maria either; we've now heard from pretty much all the men that they trust Maria the most, so Maria's been in a lose-lose spot while playing the middle due to how good she is with everyone. Similarly to Charlie, but Maria didn't stand her ground on getting Ben out. Or at least, she should have stuck with pushing more votes on Tim. It's more a shame she listened to Charlie, because his reason to keep Ben as a shield is bullshit; he obviously wants Ben around because he's his next closest ally and would probably prefer Ben and Maria work WITH him.
  12. It was steep and narrow with no railings, but still, man up. This season was filmed while still under covid restrictions in a lot of places. I imagine they released teams in bunches for logistical reasons which wouldn't have existed without the pandemic. Seems right to me.
  13. I believe a bald snark involves switching and then returning to the original task? So the twins’ going from the first to second to first to second would be the elusive double bald snark?
  14. Why is Jax inserting himself in Kristen's life and why does he feel the need to speak on what she and her boyfriend decide to do? Luke seems like a nice guy but I think Kristen wants a baby more than she wants a relationship and Luke is just the guy that's there.
  15. They would have to hire a housekeeper and someone to care for the outdoor area. There's no way they could afford this place. I think this was thought up by the producers of the show to give them something to do that didn't include Matt and Caryn.
  16. I'm sure the author would have gotten criticized for it, but when Sunny brought up Bernice King, I wished he had said, "So what?" Bernice was five when her father was murdered. It's not as if she was his contemporary. If Sunny disagrees with his interpretation of what MLK said, then she should state her opinion, not drag someone else into it. Honestly, the only thing the guy really said was that ideally, people should be judged on their character, not skin color and that it's better to concentrate on helping people based on their socio economic status, rather than race. Then Sunny went off on her tangent so I have no idea if he has any actual controversial opinions, since we barely got to hear him speak. I now feel that I should read his book to see what all the hubbub is about (which I'm sure is not the result Sunny was hoping to inspire, but that's what happens when you don't let your guest actually get their thoughts/opinions out).
  17. Just saw one with David & Victoria Beckham and how we lose a memory to remember something else, she says that is not real & he asks something like "didn't you used to be a pepper lady or something?", amused me for no real reason.
  18. The best thing for Lauren to do is stop talking to Orion, instead of constantly bringing up stuff with him. It's over. Let it go.
  19. Thank you! I think the same thing every week, I think the other two students yelling that they passed their exams were the only words they've spoken all season. They really did them a disservice. Hopefully we get to know them soon. I'm still frustrated with Matthew's treatment of Trixie during his financial crisis. I'm glad she finally knows though. I hate that he thinks she only married him because he was rich. Really tough watching the cancer patient's rapid deterioration, but glad she didn't keep it from her family forever. I hope those red ribbon boys are able to stay together and eventually get reunited with their mother.
  20. I'm still aghast at those cords hanging down next to the bed! Does she not see that?
  21. Duuuudes, you were so, so useless. It did sound really good. Not fond of chicarrones, but otherwise, yum. Yes, Lena & Kristy during the haystack challenge in AR6 and Marshall & Lance at Giza in AR5 both got Philiminated in the field. Although technically M&L quit because Marshall's knees were too bad for him to keep going. But Phil came out to tell them everyone else had already checked in. Idk, but they do. Most of them power through but there was that one girl during the Globetrotters first season (AR15) who wouldn't go down the really high water slide because she was afraid of heights, I believe. Maybe? I forget how many switches constitute a regular bald snark.
  22. Definitely not Jill. It has a window and no shrine dedicated to the miscarriages. 🙄
  23. It also ways got me and pissed me off how toothless they ended making the Qs in regards to Sonny. I remember when Emily died and Sonny, in a rare moment of honest on this show, admitted if someone did to him what he ended up doing to Monica, he would kill, so why didn't Monica ended carrying out a campaign to destroy him? She can be almost as big of a bitch as Tracy. I am still pissed they never had a scene LC confronting Michael when he decided to end his "revenge" against Sonny and gave back Avery, since he told her he would take care of the vendetta. A shame because I think SM's Sasha could credible pass as Stefan's long lost daughter.
  24. Brett Goldstein to have a guest role in Season 2.
  25. I thought Janusz's piece was very evocative and powerful, even if it was apparently simple (though I'm not sure that nesting one object inside another is actually that simple). I did take an immediate liking to Katherine Gray—she reminds me of my best teachers in college, being knowledgable and up-front in her assessments, yet kind and encouraging. I bet being a student in her classes is awesome.
