So all the wackdoodles are gathered up in front of the palace to prevent entry. Did anyone think to look around at the back door? Several months worth of MREs stored in the garage. I think over the last 15yrs, they've been pretty consistent that Salem is in Illinois. Everything from phone numbers, Chicago is the nearest major city, other little clues, etc. It's sort of an open secret. I find it's more an inside joke with the writers to try "not saying the word Illinois ".

What is Scheana claiming? If Sandoval could cheat on Ariana with Rachquel, this destroyed her trust in her loved ones. She now worries that Brock would cheat on her with Lala? That seems like a stretch to me.

I agree, I have no problem with Peter regarding the business side of things. What I don't like is I feel Peter can be manipulative and use the press to drum up interest in Bo as a way to force TPTB to cave to his "demands/rate" etc. Making statements like "they didn't ask me back" which is complete BS, of course they asked him back. They just couldn't come to an agreement. But Peter would never say that to the press. I know for the actors who no longer live in LA, coming back to Days for a "short stint" isn't economical because they have to pay for their own travel/lodge, and the pay isn't what it used to be. I don't blame anyone who doesn't come back, but be honest about it. I appreciate Patsy Pease (Kim Brady) for being honest that it isn't feasible for her to come back for "visits". She no longer lives in LA, so to come back she would be working for free. Her last "visit" on the show she stayed with Jen Lilley, so that worked out. Unless they're bringing her back for a longer story Arc, it usually isn't worth it.

I know, why would anyone wait until 70 to collect a pension when there's no advantage to waiting and you're just forfeiting the money? I started collecting mine this year. If you don't contact them shortly before your 65th birthday they call you and send you emails reminding you to start the process. Why they would want to make Dan look that foolish is beyond me. That said, I think it would be sad if this show didn't get another season considering how important the original series was in the scheme of TV sitcoms. I think it deserves a season to wrap itself up for the last time.

Early in the season, I didn’t like seeing them using brushes to apply powder to Summer’s face, but mascara?!? She’s 2.3 years old. (She was born the last week of April 2021.) How long before Scheana starts insisting that they only film and photograph Summer from her “good side.”

This is sad and strange maybe...I'm glad his time on Breaking Bad reignited his career. The first thing I ever saw him in was Homicide: Life on the Street. It's awful to admit, but I had the same anxiety leaving my dog, that James does. We did go away, but I had anxiety. I needed updates. Omg Jax is so creepy looking, between his greasy hair and botoxed face, eww just so creepy. He was on something before he started drinking. Scheana needs help, I dont think she actually applied any makeup to her daughter, I rewound it, the mascara didn't touch her eyes. Anyway, she's super anxious about leaving her daughter, I don't think she can blame Sandoval for that. Scheana and Brock, need therapy. Katie was smiling this episode, I don't particularly like her, but everything she said about Jax was true. Schwartz don't move in with Sandoval, cute tattoo of your dogs!

I never saw the original episode and my first thought after the recap was: he hates her for making them move to Florida and buy that house.

Despite Colter not being in law enforcement, and doing things mostly for the money, they still really want this to be a Cop Show, apparently. Guess this was the 'halloween' episode. Not my thing, but it was cool to have Colter unfazed by all the 'spookiness'. It was also amusing to recognize some set locations from various Vancouver-based CW shows! Just me, or was that kidnapper's basement huge?

What the hell was all that DraMAH from Brooke to RJ? Way overdone. Waking up in someone else's bed? uh Brooke? After watching the old storylines the past few weeks, I'd like Nick to return or start up with Deacon, or bring back Hunter Tylo, but it seems like they've abandoned any storyline for Brooke so now she's just Mama. They've failed making Steffy into Stephanie. Steffy can line read you're a whore bitch to Hope, but she can't act it the way Stephanie did like to Donna. Ooh that was some good stuff.

I'm not talking about any old man or woman - I'm talking about presenting a character that is essentially the same in every way to the original, the only difference being that it's a woman instead of a man. Same personality, same storyline - would that character have the same resonance? If not then I think we know what the issue is. However, for the sake of argument: Wealthy orphan grows up to fight a lone crusade against crime, while dressed like a bat. Is there anything which necessitates being played by a man? Growing up one of my favorite books was Wonder Man, and back then I thought Bruce Campbell would've been a great Simon. I thought his humor and attitude would've been a good fit for the character. However, I am perfectly happy now that Yaya Abdul Mateen II got the part - because I think he's a quality actor, and I'm interested in seeing what he brings to the character. Same if they had cast (for example) Sonequa Martin-Green or Jodie Comer as "Simone Williams." If the show is good and it feels like they've captured the spirit of the character, I'll be happy. But I'm not going to be disappointed just because they cast someone different from how he appeared back in the comics. Overall though, Disney doesn't need to worry about chasing the diminishing audience of people who read comics decades ago. TBH, if the MCU is going to continue, then their biggest need is to replace the Millennials and Gen Z that have now aged out of the original film fandom. They need to find a way to appeal to Gen Alpha - kids who seem to connect with heroes like Miles and Gwen who speak to their experiences. In retrospect, they probably should've leaned harder into Young Avengers - build a new group of characters that they could invest in. But, maybe this version of the F4 and Surfer Shanna can be that group for today's kids the way that the comics version were in the 60's.

Kyle and all his friends and relatives have had unkind remarks about their fashion choices and hairstyles and choices of mates... Let's not be techy about comments on certain characters who may be of minority groups. It's NOT just Mamie's odd hairstyle that is at issue...it's her character. And as a member of another ethnic group, I admit that I LOVE the Afro hair of Shemar Moore's wife on SWAT. Mamie's "do" is another whole animal. Middle Daughter and I have been attending a majority Black church for decades and I've never seen a "do" like Mamie's. And nobody has had a negative comment on my white blonde ringlets. It's the personality, not the person. So, let's get back to commenting on Auntie Mamie's obsession with taking over CW >> Eh ??

I've seen that one and it is so obnoxious. Horsewoman has such a loud voice and the way she talks with her mouth nearly looking like she's having a stroke (all lopsided and crooked) is so annoying!
