I suppose that, without the long hiatus, we wouldn't have gotten Nida Manzoor's Polite Society, which was hands down one of my favorite movies last year. But I'm sooooo glad the show's coming back! Looks like it'll be time to get Peacock again for a while.

No, and there's nothing wrong with being cynical. It's a "reality" show, after all. But you seem convinced that every little thing is fake, scripted, b.s., etc. It's all made up, they're all actors, nothing is really happening, everything is pre-determined. So I ask again . . . why do you even bother watching this? I've done a deep dive, as much as is possible for a show like this, and am reasonably convinced that production does not interfere with the day-to-day goings on to the extent you seem convinced that they do. I've read and watched interviews with crew members like Captain Lee, Captain Glenn, stew Aesha, engineer Colin, and unless they are lying through their teeth - which I hate to think they are - then nothing is made up or "scripted." There have been countless crew members fired, made to look the fool, look awful, etc., and not once has anyone come forward to claim it was all just an act directed by the producers. And these are people no longer associated with Bravo. If I came across looking half as bad as some of these people, believe me, I'd find a way to get word out there that it wasn't real and I was just being ordered to do something. Do they hire people they know are incompetent because they want them to cause trouble? Sure. That's what they did with Anthony. They knew there was a good chance, at least, he wouldn't be able to hack it. Same with Cat, probably. Do they suggest theme parties and beach picnics to the charter guests? Sure. They want to simulate what an actual charter with spoiled, rich guests is like for a crew as much as possible. But once they turn them all loose on the boat, everyone is on their own. The primary on this charter definitely knew what was on his preference sheet, and made it known to Fraser. I'm sure some of the guests forget what they even put down, who knows how long ago they filled the damn things out. That doesn't mean producers are actually filling these things out for the guests and then telling them to pretend they don't like vegetables or are vegan or won't eat fish or are gluten free. None of these people are good enough actors to pull that off.

A woman getting pregnant in their 50s actually happens in real life and this is a show with devil possessions so I don't think pregnant 50 year olds is even a blip on the unrealistic scale lol. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! He seems like he's having the time of his life and it's so fun to watch. I like her so far, too. Now, they need to add at least 1 more boy to the set. And her hair finally looks good!

Both litigants claim the other assaulted and harassed them. Two women were fighting over some unemployed loser, who was texting and dating plaintiff while he was living with defendant. Defendant has twins with loser boyfriend, who has apparently never been employed. Plaintiff claims loser boyfriend Cory Pippin, contacted her, said he had no kids. The two women fought, and plaintiff later came to CDC (where defendant works), and threatened defendant, and sent her photos of guns. Boyfriend was living with defendant and their kids, and sending texts to plaintiff and boinking her too. Cory Pippin is a witness for defendant. Plaintiff ambushed defendant at gas station, and plaintiff pepper sprayed defendant . Plaintiff tried to get a protective order, claiming defendant attacked her, instead defendant received a temporary protective order. Plaintiff was arrested and spent six days in jail for the attack. Plaintiff claims she didn't get a restraining order against defendant. However, defendant has a TRO and no contact order against plaintiff. Video is of defendant cruising past the plaintiff's house (they all live in the same neighborhood). JJ asks plaintiff if she's cuckoo, and she says yes, she is a little bit. Plaintiff case dismissed, defendant gets $500. Charge Party With the Company Credit Card-Plaintiff/former employer Richard Fox suing defendant/former employee Timothy Weichert for unauthorized charges on the company credit card. Our comedy channel has got reruns of Young Sheldon and they've just started with the pilot episode and oh my!! The children were babies! All three of them and I have to give props to Iain Armitage, from that very first episode he was amazing in the role. A very talented little boy! I often wonder if children should really even be professional actors, given what we know can happen once the fame fades though. I truly hope that Iain and Raegan (Missy) beat the odds!

I just saw a video about a woman who has sued her sperm donor for child support and she won!! The sperm donor has to pay her 40% of his salary (if I’m not mistaken). Are you listening, Kyle?

I'm not a racism scholar by any stretch of the imagination, just a normal person with the ability to know what's fun and what crosses the line. And making fun of a black woman's dreadlocks isn't fun. It's disparaging, and yes, it is racist. Since you asked, I shall answer: it is called a dog whistle, when you mock a person for something that is inherently a part of their heritage, culture, etc. So yes, mocking a black woman's hair style is disrespectful. And it is not the same thing as making fun of other characters because it crosses the line into disparaging someone because of their ethnicity. I hope that makes sense. Exactly this!

I think the issue here is that the hairstyle is common and popular amongst Black women and very much a part of their cultural identity. To me, calling her Medusa because of her ethnic hairstyle is similar to making up a nickname for her that refers to or incorporates some characteristic of her skin colour.
